I feel a little robbed!

First let me start by saying that Blayde is one of my favorite FMCs to date.

That said, I can't help but wonder if this series wasn't very successful for the author? Books 1 & 2 were twice the length each of books 3 & 4 with more than a year gap between publish dates of 3 & 4. Personally I really liked Blayde's story so it was disappointing to feel like I was more invested than the author was. Book 4 felt like an obligation to wrap up the story leaving it feeling more like a novella/epilogue than a vital part of the overall story.

Also: You're telling me after all that longing and years of suffering between Rhys and Stellan that we don't get more than a quick kiss and some G-rated hand holding?!?! Not that I needed an intense s*x scene between them but holy crap can we get a conversation between the 2 where they finally are able to confess their love out loud?? Granted we had some inner dialogue about how they could finally be together but I felt like it was a LOT of build up between them with nothing left to show for it. Super bummed about that.

Series overall:
Books 1 & 2 were EXCELLENT
Book 3 was also really good
Book 4 was a little disappointing

I think the Lexi storyline was necessary to wrap up Nix's past, but I didn't love the random redemption arc she took. It was just kind of weird and felt forced.

3.5 out of 5 stars. Fortunately, this novel redeemed the series for me. While it wasn't as good as the first two novels in the series, it made me enjoy the characters again. I really enjoyed this series, but I thought it had finished. Therefore, I was more than a little surprised when I received an ARC of this book which is, surely, the last one. Aside from the sex scenes, which are graphic and a bit too much for me, I think the book is exceptional. The connection between Blayde, Maverick, Nix, Stellan, and Rhys is palpable and the struggles they go through, along with Blayde’s twin brother Lennox, are heart-wrenching. Some of the violence is a bit over-the-top, but not gratuitous, if that makes sense. There were many surprising twists and turns to an ultimately satisfying ending. I recommend the series, and if you’re going to read those, you might as well read this too.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TRIAL OF THE DEMON FAE" What a terrific way to end this amazing conclusion to this excellent series full of adventure, action, danger, intrigue, you can't put down till finished.
Blayde & her mates take you on quite the adventure it a rollercoster ride, plenty of drama, especially when Nix's ex shows up causing all kinds of chaos, will she & mates survive.
I definitely recommend to get this exciting adventure it won't disappoint so well worth the read I loved Tuddles, Ava Mason is such a creative writer always pleasure to read her books awesome conclusion to a fantastic series.

Blade is in big trouble.... But before she finds out about that she has her fated mates all to herself! Four hot men...Maverick...he's a demon, Nix..he's part God and part succubus, Stellen...and Rhys..they found her brother and defeated the bad people... Now she just wants to go home to the bin and live with her men...BUT Lexie shows up looking for Nix and she has something up her nasty sleeve!! Awesome book...loved the love they all share. Nix loves her so much he will do ANYTHING to save her... But he doesn't know she will also do anything even die!!

A trial to end the series.

Fast paced read that leads to an in expected ending. Great story with a plot twist that you may see coming but not all the details ;-). You discover the mark that binds the demonfae siblings has a deeper meaning. Love, and faith in that bond overcomes everyone. People learn, grow, and even change. Enjoy this finale but the ending seemed a bit quick but I still love this series!

Great read.

This was a great ending to the series, lots of things tied up and nearly finished off but I was disappointed that there was no clarity on an important relationship.

I'll admit, I wasn't sure if it would be alright. And I feel for Lexi, I hope she gets her happy ever after.
As for the main characters, I can't think of a better ending.
Especially after that battle. I wasn't sure we would survive it.

A great end

I honestly felt like this was the biggest trial the group had been put through. Worth it in the end to have freedom but it was rough.

Definitely a great series and this fourth book brought everything the group deserved.

Wow what a great ending to a brilliant series by the talented Ava Mason. There were twists and turns galore and finally a happy ending that had me satisfied by the end. Even though a quick read it is also a very exciting one that had me flicking through as quickly as I could. Highly recommended series!
