If only I’d known this was a high school bully romance. If only I hadn’t let my curiosity for reading a RH book get the best of me. If only I hadn’t thought ‘hmm, let’s see what’s all this fuss about RH’. If only the author had decided to keep this one in the drafts instead of hitting publish. It could have saved me a lot of unnecessary brain damage. 🤯

Outrageously indignant is how I feel after reading this book. What’s with authors and their (inability) to write a good high school bully romance? I have yet to come across one author who can pull this trope off.

This book started with the h, Tillie, being gang raped by her father’s MC club members at the age of 16 and ended with her almost being gang raped by her stepbrother and his friends at the age of 18. But her stepbrother and his friends were all hot and attractive so instead of despising them, all the depraved and sick and twisted things they did to her turned her on?!

Hot men = foreplay.
Ugly men = rape.

Alright, makes sense.

I really felt for Tillie (h) at the beginning of the book because she was portrayed as this obsequious girl that silently suffered physical abuse at the hands of her father, never speaking up for herself, always so docile.
I thought everything that she went through would turn her into a fragile little thing that loathes men, and is scared to be in their presence but somehow she finds herself in the care of 4 men that slowly teach her how to trust and love again.

How wrong was I!

She magically turned into a seductress (a euphemism for, ahem, slut) the second she was free from her father’s clutches! How can you go from meekly taking a beating from you father to suddenly deciding you want to take control of your life and being so sexually attracted to not ONE but FOUR boys in just 2-3 days!?!?!?!?

If I was good with words, I’d write a high school bully romance that would be well…worse than this (we’re talking about teen bullies, what do you expect?) But I would never, NEVER make the H say things like:

“You’re so tight, baby girl. Like you were made for my cock. I’m going to rearrange your insides, pushing my cock until you feel me for days after,” he whispers in my ear.”

This man…this man wouldn’t even be able to rearrange the English Alphabet and look at him talking about rearranging guts. Cute.
I don’t even remember who said this. There were four of them *shudders*. Same ugly personalities, different names. I hated each one of them.

Logan:

“Get the fuck out, Paris. You aren’t mine and never will be. I don’t settle for one girl. Leave before I decide to put a bullet through your skull.” My tone comes out bored but I wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger with her brain matter painting the walls.
You get raised by a monster, you become the monster, and that’s exactly what I am.”

Ah good ol’ monster Logan. Oo scary.

Tey:

“Oh, sweetness, I have to say this isn’t my first time a woman threatened to kill me. Did I not call you back after fucking you into the mattress? I’m usually up front that it won’t happen again after I’m done deep dicking you that you’ll be feeling me for days, sweetheart.” His voice softly quiet but oh so deep, just enough to give you chills that stroke down your spine.”

Nicky: I don’t remember anything remarkable about this man apart from his name because wtf is Nicky?

Dalton:

“Kind of busy here, little bitch, I’ll be with you in a bit. Keep sucking, Mrs. Sullivan.” I smile widely at Tillie, my insides lighting up at the hard glint overcoming her gaze, her jaw tight when she doesn’t look away.
The slurping sound of my dick getting sucked is loud, I’m anticipating her being disgusted and upset at the blowjob I’m receiving from my teacher. Nothing like making someone cower and under your control by bringing out their weakness.”

Yeah. Typical asshole. I am convinced a high school bully romance book is incomplete without the H receiving a blowjob or fucking his teacher. Because control and all that.

I would have loved to see if there was one sensible man who was immune to her (disgusting) charms and didn’t show such an eagerness to sample her magic pussy but no such luck.

Since I won’t be picking up any RH books ever again. Can you tell me what’s the normal protocol of these kind of books? Does the girl end up with the boy she fucks first or the one with anger issues? Because I have a strong epiphany that it is going to be Logan in this book. Too bad I won’t be reading book 2 to find out.

I'm so fucking pissed off.

The five stars I gave Spiteful Punks were not given because I think the guys in this book are dreamy or worthy of the heroine, Tillie, in any way. In fact, I don't think they deserve her in the slightest. Is it possible for them to be redeemed? Time will tell, but I'm not even rooting for them to be at this point. I want to beat the living shit out of every single one of them. Tillie has been through enough without dealing with torment and abuse from these motherfuckers hopped up on power and money made possible by daddy.

Spiteful Punks earned a high rating from me, because of the level of emotion Madeline Fay pulled out of me in less than 200 pages. Everything Tillie has been through is absolutely heartbreaking. The all consuming sadness, fear, torture, brutal violence and abuse of every kind she experienced ripped my fucking heart out.

I need her to get a win for once. I want her to turn the tables on these assholes when they least suspect it. If she turns them into her bitches begging for her pussy while she's at it, that's fine with me. I just need it to happen, and most of all, I want her to get her revenge on the monsters that destroyed her life.

Do I think I'll actually get what I want? I sure as hell hope so, but we shall see soon enough! I'm diving into book 2 right now.

Dark, bully romance fans with strong stomachs, this one's for you!

There was so much packed into this book! My head was spinning.
My emotions were all over the place.
So dark and intense.
There are SO many triggers and the first part of the book was so hard to read

My heart broke for Tillie. She was so strong despite her upbringing. She only had a few people who were truly on her side. That were out to help her and try to keep her safe. Being the daughter of a MC president was gritty and made for some of her worst nightmares come true.

After escaping her living hell, she ends up at a home, in a town where she isn't sure who are friends or enemies. The group of 4 guys. Holy crap. I want to smack them all. They are not friends right now. Hope that changes in book 2. She deserves revenge on all who have ever wronged her and to rise above. To rise above everyone who has ever harmed her or not put her first.
Cruz and her father better get what's coming for them! I'll be first in line.

This book is beyond twisted. It was so so good though.

Okay. I see you author Madeline Fay. So I won this book in paperback when it first came out. I knew I’d get around to reading it but I just didn’t know exactly when until I noticed a whole bunch of positive reviews popping up for the second book that recently came out.

So here I am, mind is blown on how amazing this book was. The prologue starts off with a brutal gang rape. So yes. This book gets dark quick. There is torture and a whole lot of non-consenting shit going on by people who actually raised the main female character, Tillie.
She was raised in an MC called the Demon Jokers that are on the outskirts of Las Vegas.
This book isn’t fluffy and lighthearted. Tillie goes into detail on how these men taught her her ABCs and brushed her hair and when she hit puberty the looks started changing towards her, but her father never gave the go ahead until this so-called training started. And allowed his men to horribly abuse and rape her.
Her father‘s right hand man is a guy that he basically adopted and is a extremely intense and insane psychopath who is obsessed with Tillie and was promised Tillie to be his old lady.

“They say blood is thicker than water but I call bullshit. My own blood causes me to live in fear day in and day out, turning me into someone who has a taste for sweet retaliation pooling in the back of my throat that I almost choke on daily.”

The author does a really great job of explaining the dark and internal feelings that Tillie is going through. Nothing is glossed over, these feelings feel true and genuine to what the character is going through.
There is one old lady that helps Tillie run away.
She makes it to where she supposed to go and lands into the hands of three more psychotic guys. A different type of psychotic but they are also crazy. We meet four more main characters that I assume will eventually become a RH situation.
What I loved about this book is, It did not rush into any relationship. This is not insta love.
Is there sex and lust involved? Yes ❤️‍🔥
We dive into who these boys are. More of Tillie’s family and background.
And it is just a really intense book. The paperback is only 178 pages so it is not a huge book but it is packed full of some of the best writing that I have read.
I wouldn’t say the book leaves off on a cliffhanger. No one is literally hanging off of a cliff on the verge of dying or not. Lol but the story is clearly not finished. Her psychopath MC knows that she ran away and they are on a warpath to try to find her. She’s hiding out only to be in the hands of these hot and sexy other psychopaths. Lol it’s a shit show and it’s a good one and I cannot wait to dive into the next book!

This book was shit. This. Book. Was. Shit.

Oh, did I just repeat myself? Well, fuck me, this book must've rubbed off on me. The amount of repetitiveness in this goddamn book is enough to drive me infuckingsane!

The book has several triggers, mainly a boner for sexual abuse with straight up rape and dubious as fuck dub-con. The ending wasn't intriguing, it didn't make me feel like I need the next book. I barely tolerated Logan with his anger bullshit, loved Tey with his childish disconnect, Nicky was boring as shit and Dalton was hot, minus his dumbass obsessive use of the word bitch. Doesn't make you look that tough when your best insult is that, but don't feel bad, not a lot of people have that talent, you bulky fuck canoe.

Let's not forget the dipshit Cruz, who is proof that shit can grow legs and walk. I couldn't even get into him. Like yes, he clearly is the first one that needs a rusty castration, but I'm so disappointed in him. I'm usually one to be in Bonerville over the turds, but I think he was left out too long and the shit stains have now infiltrated his blood stream. There's no saving him, now.

I didn't mind the chick, (gasp, I know,  liked the chick and hated the cocks) she didn't annoy me like they usually do and I felt for her and understood the shit she was feeling and had to do to stay alive.

The book was long-winded, repetitive (I know I said this before and it's contradicting with the issue I'm trying to express with this book, but unlike the bullshit I read, this bears repeating), and tries too hard to build hard ass fuckers. It had so much fucking potential, cuz the plot, alone was interesting and not something I've enjoyed recently, but I just fucking can't.

You know that saying about being stuck between a rock and a hard place, this is literally what Tillie's entire life has been. For such a short story, it took me quite a while because I had to keep taking a breather. It's completely heartbreaking what Tillie went through and still experiencing. But, she's definitely a tough cookie

"Ride or die is a biker saying and this girl is going to ride this blood bath with a fucking grin on my face until I’m dying to survive. "

This is first story by Madeline Fay and it was absolutely fantastic. This is written so well, you can literally feel the intensity of the pain and suffering this character went through. I was literally tearing up in the prologue. It was pretty hard to read. I truly admire how badass Tillie. I so can't wait until the next one!

Bloody Hell!! This is one hell of a roller coaster ride of a book!! My only wish is that could give this book more than 5 stars because i definitely would but be warned before you read this book it is pretty dark in places and some of the content might upset some folks.

Tillie (FMC) has been brought up in the Demon Jokers MC. Being in an MC should have meant a family for her that always has your back but sadly for Tillie she didn't have that kind of life. Oh boy did my heart break for her with all the abuse she suffered both violent and sexual. It literally had me in tears for her. I really wanted her to get some serious revenge on the whole MC with her father and Cruz on the top of that list. Omg i just hated them with a passion. Life gets more complicated for her when she manages to get away from that toxic environment and she ends up in a place she escapes to but all is not what it seems there. Her arrival is greeted with suspicion by the family living there more so with the Alpha-holes Tey, Logan, Nicky and Dalton.

With that ending im hoping with everything crossed that Tillie gets some major payback in book 2? I was completely gripped reading this book that i couldnt put it down. Just a knockout read!!!

I need to digest this a bit to attempt a coherent review... But heed the TW. Dark contemporary, bully, enemies-to-lovers, RH.

The FMC has been through some unbelievable horrors - and there better be a revenge plot cause 🔪🔪☠️ Some business needs tending to by the end of this series. Tillie is scared and scarred, but I see a survivor spirit rebirth for her.

It's Multi-POV which I love. POV of villain 😐😣 Ngl that's hard for me to read, but that's a reader preference thing. It totally works for the story and it's not too pervasive.

The guys are major a**holes... I'm so mad at them at the end of book it's hard to consider whether there's a redemption path for them, but it will be glorious if the author pulls it off, so I'm rooting for it. I did like how it's clear early on some reasoning to their bully bs and extra sh*ty behavior. The timeline with the guys in this book is pretty short Is it like two days? I'm so turned around. A lot happens, but they only have reasons to not trust her. Not excusing their behavior, but with even the brief glimpse into the guys' world and heads, there's more to it than just being a**holes or bully to bully. Tey instantly fascinated me and gave me lovable psycho vibes. Nicky intrigued me, but his cruel words and treatment at the end has him on my sh*t list. Logan is pure alpha and at the top of my sh*t list, followed by Dalton, which is sad cause his physical description had me panting.

Spiteful Punks is all degrees of dark from high school bully to pure undeniable evil and it was addictive from start to finish.

Tillie grew up in a world where malicious people and heinous acts were as common as basic human needs. That's all she’s known her entire life and the one bright spot she had in her life disappeared one day without a trace.

When she escapes with only a name and address she gets a lot more than she bargained for at the place that was supposed to be safe when she ends up surrounded by some Spiteful Punks. There aren’t any heroes in this story but the 3 devilishly, diabolical punks and their degree of darkness has an alluring quality that makes it impossible for Tillie not to take notice.

I was engrossed in Spiteful Punks from the first word to the last an intoxicating mix of a girl that’s finding her fire after living a life full of people trying to extinguish it, 3 alphahole anti-heroes that all have their own unique chemistry with Tillie, a storyline that will make your heart race, and stop the next, suspense, and steam to the nth degree.

It shocks me that this book has such high ratings. It's so, so badly written, almost nonsensical. So many grammatical errors; sentences that make absolutely no sense, and events that are completely illogical. I'm not saying that it's not possible for them to happen, I'm saying that there's no reason for them to happen other than the author deciding to "shock" the readers. It feels like the author had an idea and just started writing with no direction, then came back at the end and tried to stitch it together. It failed miserably. These "dark" characters feel like little kids dressing up in men's boots.

This book was amazing! It totally hit that darkness sweet spot for me. Tillie has had a completely unimaginable life so far, but she’s still fighting, biding her time. Tillie should be a broken mess of a girl, but she’s still standing, even if it’s on shaky legs. When she finally gets out, she runs straight into a whole new set of problems - four very hot problems - and she finally starts to learn who she is and what she wants out of life.

Madeline has an amazing way with words that draw you in, making it impossible to stop reading until you reach the last page. I was left in such a book hangover, trying to work out what would feed the whole left inside of me after finishing this book.

What a start to a dark and gripping reverse harem bully romance! To be honest, the author had me with that title because I was already 80% intrigued before I had even started reading the book. Reading Tillie's story only sparked my interest further.

Written with such depth of feeling and maturity, this story follows a young Tillie raised within a motorcycle club who escapes from that abusive life and finds her roots. Embarking on her new life, she meets her three antihero love interests and so the story unfolds.

Excellent character development in this tale, authentic, rich, and individual in this underbelly of factions of power. Alpha bad boys with darkness, grittiness and steamy interludes. Story is set at an engaging pace. Overall, entertaining, heart-felt read.

This follows Tillie, 18, who has been through hell at the hands of her father growing up and is the leader of the Demon Jokers Motorcycle club. Living day by day, trying to survive finally an opportunity to run presents itself. Now, she is being hunted but also falls into the hands of four ruthless anti-heroes.

This is a very dark graphic read. If you jump into this please be mindful, that the list of contents and themes is below. It gripped me from the get-go. I hurt for Tillie the FMC and all she has been through but she is a fighter and survivor. Escaping hell and then running into another she can not catch a break. Dark, and deliciously twisted but with a new chance at life and fighting for freedom, she will do whatever it takes. The men in this are morally grey which leaves me hot and cold. They are all just as twisted as each other but I love it. This is also a quick read and a fantastic audiobook. I'm nervous but excited for the next book.

Holy ! My emotions are on overdrive!

This is just wow....life! You want an emotional, angst filled, badassary strong willed heroine who has you rooting for her from the beginning for her rise from the ashes? This is the story for you. From page on the gritty story unfolds and sucks you right in without apology, leaving you gutted and upset. This follows a girl raised within the compounds of a MC community and has endured some of the worst kind of exposure one could imagine. With a little bit of help the girl is able to escape and is set on a journey that leads her to the 4 ruthless alphaholes that are drawn to her but also despise her due to the timing of her appearance. I'm not gonna lie, your probably going to need to order yourself another kindle before reading this book cause your likelihood of wanting to smash it at the cliffy ending is probable. This is the first time reading anything by Madeline Fay and I'm jonesing for book two in this series. I think she captures the feelings and her ability to bring together all the characters POV'S and have you visualising the story is so incredibly difficult but she's accomplished it beautifully. Epic read * if your not easily put of from triggers* hopefully an ARC is available for book two....😉

Wow, well that was one hell of a book. I think my biggest hang-up with this book was the fact it ended too soon, it might be a good thing though cause it now means I'm desperate for the next one! I really feel for Tillie, she's the daughter of the president of an MC group and she's been used and abused in all sorts of ways. But despite that, she still keeps her head held high. The guys you are meant to hate, you really end up hating and wishing for their deaths. And the guys she meets you literally love to hate them. I now have everything crossed that Tillie can get her revenge in the next book cause I think it will be really satisfying for not only Tillie but the reader too. She needs to make them pay, and I hope with the help of the guys she can get it done.

My only warning is that there are a few triggers in this book to do with violence as well as sexual abuse. But if you like your reads dark, then this book is definitely for you.

Wow, this was dark and disturbing. Definitely full of triggers in every way possible. I love dark books and I've read my fair share of them and therefore I have developed preference of what I personally want in them and what irritates me in them.

I did enjoy this book and I cannot wait to see how this will play out. Beware of cliffhanger..

Now, my only issue with this book was with h. She endured something extremely traumatic at the age of 16 and parts of it continued until she escapes. She also endured horribly brutal beatings from her father for years.

I wanted to see her trauma, I wanted to see how she copes with it, not how she's hot for those guys who continue basically doing the same to her. I wanted a bit some realism in there because of her situation.

Dark and emotionally raw. Watch out for that cliffy!

I’m not okay. My heart bleeds for Tillie. This story and these characters are raw and gritty. It felt real and immediately sucked me in. Being in Tillie’s shoes I never felt safe, parts of my soul connected to hers. I lost myself in the pages. The chemistry and struggle she goes through with those spiteful punks is pure fire. One of the my favorite things is that we get to see multiple POVs and they add such depth to the characters and it builds this intricate story. The words transported me into those moments and I could never decide who I wanted to win. The dark abyss is all consuming and I never want to leave. I’m waiting not so patiently for part two.

Have to admit there were some touchy parts to read that really break you heart and have you gasping and flicking the pages in fear of what is to come next. But you can feel every bit of emotion coming through the pages and even though a tough read I am still intrigued to see what happens in book two. For me I just hope that our tough, vulnerable and abused FMC starts to get her power and her revenge! Remember read this with the understanding you are stepping into a dark and dangerous world where it appears there is no such thing as a happy ending, especially for a female but I just know that female is going to take her power and make them pay!

Plot Summary :
Tillie grew up surrounded by the worst people possible. Her childhood was full of horrors that no girl should ever survive. Her life was never an easy one and there is no way she was staying at that place. So she ran away. Only she did not realise that she was running away from a bunch of monsters into the hands of the other ones.

Logan , Trey , Dalton and Nicholas were something who terrified her and Intrigued her all at once. The ones who had her in their grasp and there was no way they were going to her let go until they were done breaking her.

What they didn't know was that she was already used to dealing with the devil and they could not scare her anymore.

Overall Opinion :
Omg. I am just so very angry and In awe. This author , she just made me feel so much in a span of a few chapters! The book consisted of a lot of dark scenes and triggers and things did not get better. The boys were hell bent on destroying Tillie and that made me so angry. She had already gone through so much. I want them to pay so bad!!

I am totally hooked and invested in this series and there is no way I am stopping reading now. I need my new fix like yesterday and I can’t have it enough! There is no way any RH bully romance lover can miss this book! A must read for all.

I think I only have myself to blame for trusting tiktok yet again for another shit read.

This was horrible, no warning whatsoever of the child-rape-gangbang and I’m not one to really flinch at a lot of things but fuck me…

And of course, you’d think after suffering from that horrible experience and FINALLY being able to escape to a safe place, the FH let’s the first good-looking guy fuck her.

There’s so much more shit I want to scream at the top of my lungs about this book but I don’t want to waste anymore time on this absolute mess off a “book.”

Save yourself the time, effort and brain cells, don’t read it.
