Not even the holidays can make a bastard like me feel better.
The guys are all gone for Christmas, but I decide to stay.
I'm hunting a horrific serial killer and I can't afford to lose him.

I'm regretting that decision when I find her:
Beaten, bloodied, and left out in the snow to die.
Who is she?
That's the problem. Not even she knows.
And when I discover that she might be the killer's accomplice, only one thought runs through my mind:
Run.

But there's nowhere to go. The storm is too heavy.
How can I trust her when she doesn't even know her own name?
The two of us are trapped here, trying to find out who she really is.

Is she here to kill me? Or have I just saved her life?
The only thing I do know is this:
Baby, it's fucking cold outside.

The author has done it again; she is an absolute genius. I hadn't been on edge for quite some time until this book.

The club goes to Vegas to have an R.K. Christmas. Raven stays behind to track down the serial killer. The book starts with Raven’s dark past. As always, the author rips your heart out. While grocery shopping to stock up for the impending snowstorm, Raven literally runs into Serena. Both are instantly attracted to each other.

While Serena is running and trying to hide out at her cousin's house. However, someone has other plans. After that day, Raven ends up saving her. Serena, with no recollection of what happened and, has amnesia.

Raven is tortured by his past and is riddled with guilt. He is rough on the outside, but to those he loves and cares about, he is protective, and a big softy.

Serena has gone 5rough hell, and back, yet her nightmare has not ended. She is one smart, tough cookie. She is a true survivor.

The twist is something else. And it’s jaw-dropping. I was sitting at the end of my seat. I can’t wait to see whose book is next and what will happen. As much as I love all the guys, I can't wait to get in Dexter’s mind and read how he ticks.

It was good... I only wish it was a little longer. So much was going on and with another 50 pages it could have been even better. Could have made their relationship more believable and maybe even caught the murderer.

Raven got his name because of what happened to his family when he was 8 yrs old. Good thing the club stepped up after. Serena and her cousin had been dealt a bad upbringing with the alcoholic parents. The girls tried to lead a normal life but it wasn't to be. I called her Serena because that's what she said but when her cousin shows up she said it was Arianna...oh and she has amnesia.

This is still part of the murders showing up and they are frozen with some missing body parts. They might know the first name of the murder but not the last.... hopefully they will catch him in the next one.

Raven 💔

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: Protector
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

When the rest of the club decides to go to Vegas for Christmas, Raven decides to stay behind to concentrate on looking for a serial killer they’ve been hunting. While out at the grocery store, Raven bumps into Serena and the chemistry is immediate. Later in the evening, Raven finds a bloody Serena in the snow outside the clubhouse, but she can’t remember who she is or who is after her.

Another quick and steamy read set in the RBMC world. Tons of twists and turns with heart wrenching backstories for both Raven and Serena. Love all of KL Savage’s series and I can’t wait for the next book in Portland’s chapter ❤️ .

I did not see this story coming and I am infinitely pleased by that!!

In true KL fashion, this journey was gripping, suspenseful and mind-blowing but at its core, deeply emotional in a way that differs from what I’m used to from this author, and it was a pleasant surprise. I mean honestly, I’ve read almost her entire backlist at one point or another and her storylines tend to go darker than dark and although, yes, obviously the suspense portion of this story was that, the romance journey between Raven and Serena was more. You’ll have to #oneclick the book to get more in depth details :) It’s a good story and if you’re a fan of MC books, you can never go wrong with a KL story!

Raven got his road name in a heartbreaking way and the Royal Bastards MC take him in. Year later Raven is still plagued with nightmares from that fateful day. He stays behind while everyone else is going two Vegas for Christmas and there is a snow storm brewing so he decides to stock up with supplies. That’s how he meets her, Serena, stocking up also. Serena is living a nightmare of her own and Raven will do anything to protect her. With his past and her current situation, they have more in common then they both would want. Buckle up, you are in for a action packed and wonderful ride!!

Suspense-filled, sitting on the edge of your seat MC romance, Raven has it all. KL always delivers a story that has you falling in love with the MC club biker right from the start and Raven, Jason, is no different. He is the tough exterior, all caring and loving on the inside biker that we all want in our lives.

Jason is haunted by the death of his sister at the hands of a serial killer when they were both teens. He witnesses it and feels guilty that he got away. They lost their parents and Raven, his sister was his guardian. He was taken in by the local MC club, Royal Bastards MC. He took on the road name Raven as a reminder of his sister. He is now the VP and is investigating another serial killer. It consumes every minute of his life but not everyone knows why. Raven decides that he wants to stay back and not attend the R.K. Christmas party in Vegas. He meets a beautiful woman, Serena, while grocery shopping and can't seem to get her out of his head. With a severe snowstorm coming he is responsible for taking care of the grounds and animals. He hears a scream and upon investigating the sound he finds a woman in the snow badly hurt and unconscious. He takes her to the club house to care for her. She is the woman that he met at the store however she has no memory. He feels that he has seen her before in the pictures that he ahs regarding the serial killer. Can he trust her? Is she involved? Why is she here?

Serena is running from a cruel man that held her captive threatened her all the while killing and keeping them in a freezer that she found. She comes to Portland to see her cousin and get away but her cousin is missing. She bumps into Raven and assumes he is a bad biker guy but is quickly corrected and sees him as a nice guy. While at her cousins house a man tries to attack her and she tires to get away. She trips and lands on the ground and that is all she remembers. She wakes up in a strange place with raven looking over her. She has amnesia and is scared. raven seems nice at the beginning but over time he is cold and distant, but why? Things get complicated between Raven and Serena. When a stranger shows up claiming to be her cousin, she looks like Serena but ths stranger says she is Serena and the other girl is Arianna and is trying to run fro her ex-husband. Can ths new person be trusted? Will the old Serena believe her? Will something jar her memory? When the situation becomes dangerous what will she and Raven do?

The twist at the end will leave your jaw on the floor. It was not one that I saw coming. This new club of bikers is going to be an interesting one. Grab Raven and enjoy the ride.

3.75 stars- RAVEN is the second instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult ROYAL B*STARDS MC: PORTLAND OREGON erotic, MC romance series-a spin off / cross over from the author’s RUTHLESS KINGS MC. This is thirty-eight year old Royal B*astards VP Jason aka Raven, and Serena’s story line.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Raven and Serena) RAVEN follows the quick building relationship between thirty eight year old Royal B*astards VP Raven, and Serena. Twenty-five years earlier, thirteen year old Jason lost his sister Raven to a serial killer, and was taken in by the Royal B*astards MC in Portland Oregon. Fast forward to present day wherein, someone is abducting and murdering local women, and the pressure of the past is continuing affect our story line hero. With the MC heading to Vegas,to spend Christmas with the Ruthless Kings MC, Raven opts to remain in Portland where he will come face to face with his future. Enter Serena, a woman on the run but a woman who will find herself without her memory of what happened or why. What ensues is the rapidly building relationship between Raven and Serena, and the potential fall-out as Serena’s past is about to come full circle, threatening the man with whom she is falling in love.

Serena awoke to find herself a victim of an assault and amnesia but Raven is acting strange, and in this, Serena begins to suspect something is terribly wrong. Raven is struggling to trust the woman that has stolen his heart, a woman who could very well be a stone cold killer.

The relationship between Raven and Serena is one of immediate attraction but an accident will befall our heroine leaving her dependant upon a man she does not remember. A snow storm will trap our couple for several days at the MC clubhouse, but a knock at the door threatens to destroy all sense of harmony and peace, peace that is about to be short lived. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Thrasher and Delilah (Thrasher 1), and most of the members of the Royal B*astards MC: Portland-Ink, Fate, Hack, Holiday, Dexter, Atlas, Gunner and Wrath.

RAVEN is a story of obsession and murder; betrayal and hate; acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is captivating; the romance is insta-lust to love; the characters are energetic but troubled. RAVEN ends on a happily ever after-for now….

I will add there are a few questionable scenarios but such is the nature of the beast known as fiction…

Another incredible story by this writing duo who are MC queens. In this second book of the Royal Bastards MC, Portland Charter, Raven elects to stay behind to work on the unsolved mystery of the current serial killer while the rest of the club goes to Vegas. And… thank goodness he did!

Raven is a gem of a character, he is absolutely genuine in everything he says and does. As the Vice President of his club he has put the club first but at the same time honors his sister’s memory. Enter Serena, or is it? She is a sweet young woman on the run from the very same serial killer Raven is determined to find. Of course, an enormous amount happens, all either exciting or romantic. Serena is a sweetheart, end of story!

The suspense element in this fast-paced story is top-notch and even with a shocking headache, I found it difficult to put this book down. Great twists and turns make for a terrific read with loads of excitement and drama. Then there’s the steamy romance between Raven and Serena, which unfolds gracefully in a difficult situation. As the puzzle pieces get slotted in more slip out, hello book three—bring it on!

I've been addicted to this brilliant dynamic duo for a cool minute so there's not a story they've released that I didn't love like crazy. However, before I get into the limited detail I plan to, I have to say this is another beautiful cover that I can't stop staring at. So, Raven is a man who watched his sister get killed by a killer, and it definitely changed him, so now that they're a serial killer in the area, he's become obsessed with finding out who it is. As the rest of his MC went to Vegas for a break at Christmas, he stayed behind, and in doing so, his life definitely took a turn for the better. Serena is on the lam from serious danger so she ends up in his neck of the woods, and he meets her at the grocery store but things didn't go anywhere at that point. Raven ends up needing to save her after something happened to her as a storm was coming in, and she lost her memory so now it gets super exciting in ways that I'm not even going to talk about. It not only brings the thunder with the heat factor, but those twists really start to come in hot in ways that I'll never reveal but you seriously don't want to miss out on! So, you know what to do now as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Raven was an intense and emotional ride that I enjoyed a great deal. This book came out of left field and swept me off my feet. I love this whole universe that KL Savage has created.
It’s Christmas and all of the MC in Portland have gone to Vegas for a Royal Bastards’ Christmas. Raven stays behind to stay on the hunt for a serial killer. While at the grocery store, stocking up for a snow storm, he meets Serena. Sparks explode the moment their eyes meet. Then later, he finds her beaten, bloodied and left for dead in the snow near the clubhouse. He immediately brings her in to help her, only she has no memory of what happened or who she is. Can he really trust her?
This was an intense romantic suspense that kept me perched on the edge of my seat, dying to know what would happen next. Between the gut-wrenching and unpredictable twists and trying to guess what was going on, there is a truly emotional story. The main characters both share painful pasts that have left them wounded emotionally. Raven's guilt over the past really resonated with me. I really loved this story and highly recommend it. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

This spin off from the Ruthless Kings series has the underlying story trope of a not yet found serial killer. Book two finds us at the holidays and well all the club heads to Vegas to visit the Kings, Raven stays home to work on the issue with the killer.

Serena thinks she is going to stay at her sister's house for some time away. SHe ends up meeting Raven and the grocery story and then later that night, stumbles into a snow storm while running away from danger. She looses her memory for a bit. Raven takes care of her and they start developing a friendship.

This story is full of twists and turns. A HUGE revelation in the end that you won't see coming! Lots of intense moments that will keep you turning pages. I can't say much more her, you will just have to read that story.

I did love Raven and his whole back story. I felt like Serena was perfect for him. I am so glad she is part of his world now. Looking forward to seeing where this club goes next.

I had a hard time connecting with this book, which is a first for me with this duo. The book felt fast paced yet slow at the same time, and the main plot wasn't even fully disclosed by the end of the book. Which probably means that we will see this couple again in another book, but it just threw me for a loop. I also saw that twist coming a mile away.

Raven and Serena may not have even my favorite couple, but this is still worth reading to get the full picture of this series.

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions.**

Friend or Foe

Raven is obsessed with finding the serial killer that left Delilah for dead and stay in Portland when the rest of the club goes to Vegas. A chance meeting at the grocery store with Serena sends his head spinning especially when he finds her hurt and unconscious in the snow with no memory and looking like the serial killer's accomplice. But as they send time together he knows she can't be working with a killer so that means she must be a victim too. This book is full of crazy twist that will keep you reading

I was excited to get my hands on another book of this MC chapter. I loved Thrasher. Raven was something else. I loved the intensity of this story and the twisty goodness that Savage is known for. With the way Raven and Serena connect and why, my mind was racing wondering what will happen next. I loved the back and forth between them. The whole snowed in concept. Add in the serial killer aspect and I couldn’t get enough. It is passionate, sizzling, twisted and so much more as we experience a range of emotions! Great addition to the series!

Raven's book is not an easy read but his background gives you an insight into not only him but also his MC name too. It also made him focused on a serial killer in this book (one who popped up in Thrashers book. Book 1 in this series) and finding him. Only when Serena enters his life and both worlds collide.

To me this book felt slightly shorter than other Ruthless Kings/Spinoff books but it packed a lot into it. I really liked the relationship between Raven and Serena. I also liked the plot twist too. I enjoyed reading this book and i wait for what happens next in this series. A flaming great read

I have been scouting for hot bikers all wrong. All you have to do is stock up in the grocery store, and they just run into you.

If you haven't read Thrasher, RBMC Portland Book #1, I recommend that you start there. You don't have to, but it'll give you the backstory on a serial killer that's loose in the area. Fast forward to Christmas, and the MC is heading to Vegas for the holidays. Everyone, but Raven.

The RBMC of Portland are their own breed of bikers. They're kind of nerdy with hidden quirks that are starting to be revealed. They're just so cute. You can't help but want to claim each one, and we're only two stories in. Raven's no exception. He's been with the club for most of his life, but it just seems like he's going through the motions. At this point, he's pretty complacent, and it shows.

I wouldn't say that his life is boring, but he could use some excitement out of the MC. This could have been why his story was a little slow to start. It's not that it wasn't a good beginning, but it was pretty lackluster. I kept wishing the action would start, or something would happen to suck me in. I liked Raven. I liked Serena, and even though they are opposites, I liked seeing them together. It just didn't have an appeal until the action started. Once it did, it was a wild ride to the finish line to figure out whodunit. I almost wanted it to slow down so that their story wouldn't come to an end. I enjoyed how they heated up the pages in the middle of a blizzard.

I was hesitant to give any Royal Bastards a chance. I am so glad that I let K.L. Savage's writing speak for itself. I absolutely loved Raven. He has such a tragic story but doesn't let that stop him from loving Serena. She also has a tragic tale but it doesn't stop her from giving Raven a chance.

We are back at Portland Oregon. I hope we the "Evil Dead" gang in the future. They help out the Royal Bastards and they helped Raven pass on a radio message to his brother. The reason for the radio because there is a snow storm ❄️

I love K.L Savage MC world so much because she does put in a lot of detail about her characters bring them to life & you want to support them. Raven made me tearful behind his road name. I don't want to spoil to much about it but you see why he is determined to get this serial killer that Dahlia escape from BUT Thrasher get first dips to kill him.
Ravan stays behind to continue on the research & everyone goes to Vegas to see Ruthless Kings for Christmas 🌵

Serena we meet her on the run from a man. She is full of fear and she scared its one if his mind games like last time. She goes to her cousins cabin and thinks go to hell. She runs in the snow storm and she fights him to escape which surprised him. She screamed in pain and thankfully that Rave finds her. She is a survivor & the guys remind her of this 🖤

The suspense killed me because with Raven & Serena we learn with them when she gets flashes & feelings of a memory that she lost. Then a knock comes to door which cause more tension & question on who telling the truth...no spoilers

Raven & Serena is love at first sight. They are comfortable with each other and they can read each really well especially the mysterious visitor that says she is a loving cousin...no spoilers

I can not wait for Hack to find the info on the serial killer. We have a name now...no spoilers💀 Let The hunt begin!! 💀😈

"He'll never stop until the people who would ever hurt me are taken out. Permanently. That's what it means to be a Royal Bastard."
Let's just Serena his Butterfly is loving the MC life style. Love than man . Love the club🖤💀

Another Christmas Book for the Christmas Season. I really recommend " A Ruthless Christmas " book. The book just made me smile all day , they are a crazy & lovable bunch 😆

He’s determined to find the man that put Delilah, his brother, Thrasher’s ol’ lady, in danger and has her terrified that he will come back for her, since she is the only victim to have escaped him. Raven is a man on a mission, the serial killer wreaking havoc reminds Raven of his past and the tragedy he survived with the help and protection of the RBMC that found him and took care of the man that took Raven’s sister from him. When the club decides to head to Las Vegas for Christmas, Raven chooses to stay behind because he is consumed with finding the serial killer and ending his terror.

She thought that she had found someone that cared about her, little did she know that the man that asked her out had ulterior motives. Now she’s escaped the horrors that he has wreaked on her and others, but is she safe? When Serena is run over by a man in the grocery story with a shopping cart, she finds herself drawn to the man and flirting with him. He could be her savior. When she finds herself in danger and tries to get away, she takes a fall and loses her memory. When she wakes up, she has no idea where she is, who she is, or how she got hurt.

I really liked this story of Raven and Serena’s story. These two are an unlikely pair, but the attraction between them can’t be denied. They dance around each other for a while, but when they do connect, the steam and attraction is off the charts, and they can no longer deny their feelings. I love the gruffness of Raven, but his softness finds its way to the surface with Serena, and he is kind and gentle with her. I love the Portland RBMC chapter and the characters within it. The closeness these guys share is great, they’re a family by choice, not by blood. I love K.L. Savage’s stories and her characters, there is always darkness, but there is also love, humor, and well-rounded characters. I did have some questions from this book that weren’t answered, but I am hoping that they will be soon. I give this story a 4.5-star review and look forward to more books by K.L. Savage in the near future.

A terrific story

I really enjoyed this story. There were mysterious and suspenseful aspects that definitely kept things interesting, as well as more on the ongoing secondary plot regarding the serial killer. It also included an intriguing twist that I'm interested in seeing how it plays out. Overall, it was a great story, and one that you'll want to read.

The reason I gave this 4 instead of the usual 5 stars is due to the significant editing errors in this book. The errors include missing &/or misplaced words, in addition to the misspelled ones. There's also a couple of times that the details are changed during the story. Unfortunately, this seems to be getting worse with each new release, whereas it was unheard of for this author to have any errors in the books when their career began. I really hope that this is something that will be corrected, especially since these authors are very talented, and I would hate to see them compromise quality for quantity like so many others. I have loved all of this author's work, and it's certainly obvious that that many others do as well.

I would highly suggest that you read Thrasher (Royal Bastards MC: book 1) prior to reading this one. Personally, I would recommend that you consult the authors reading order for the Ruthless Underworld series (which includes multiple series by this author), as there is a lot of character crossover in all of the series. It will give you a better understanding of the characters, the connections, the different clubs/groups, and the dynamics between all of them. They're all fantastic stories, and you won't be disappointed.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding authors.

It was almost a miss. I actually struggled to finish it, and it made me sad.

I really liked the beginning. Raven was an interesting character. His past trauma, the reason he got his road name, his story with the club, the way he acts around Serena at first… All of that enticed me. It was the same with Serena and the way she was afraid but took charge of her life. A strong character in her own way. The way they come together was already a bit of a stretch–what a coincidence really to fall near the club, as was the memory loss.

What annoyed me was their reactions to each other. For way too many chapters, the push and pull with endless and repetitive inner thoughts played with my nerves. They couldn’t make their mind, and I couldn’t see the romance there, past the evident lust. Once they get together, it was at least very sexy.

The serial killer storyline was interesting. It brought the little suspense that kept me reading. The coincidences were plenty here too, but I still wanted to see how it ended.

After such a stalling, the action scenes and mystery resolutions were quite anticlimactic. Like it was rushed. Very disappointing.

Quickie

- Series: Royal Bastard MC Portland Oregon #2 (can be read as a standalone)
- Hashtags: #MC romance #romantic suspense #instalove #forced cohabitation
- Triggers: violence, depiction of violent murders
- Main couple: Serena & Raven
- Hotness: 4/5
- Romance: 3/5
- + the little final twist was interesting
- – way too long for the story it told

K.L. Savage turned up the suspense with the Royal Bastards MC and I loved it. We had gotten a taste of what they were going to deal with in “Thrasher” and it’s going to be a wild ride.

Raven, like all the members, has a dark past that led him to find the brotherhood and family within the MC. The crew has been tracking a serial killer that has been attacking the Pacific Northwest. When the rest of the crew heads down to visit the Vegas chapter, Raven stays behind. At the store before a big storm, he meets Serena. They have an instant connection. Later that day, their paths cross again when she’s in trouble and Raven is there to rescue her. Injured and having temporary amnesia, her past is slow to come back and poses a danger for both of them.

Raven is amazing. He is a tough MC guy but has an amazing caring soul that has been tortured for years. Serena is super tough and has been through so much. I loved their instant connection and how he cared for her. He didn’t even hesitate to rescue her and make sure she was okay. I loved the plot twist we got about the killer. I didn’t see it coming and it had my jaw dropping. The new crew is amazing and I can’t wait to get their stories. K.L. Savage built an amazing world with the Ruthless Kings and I know the Royal Bastards are going to be as awesome protecting the PNW area.

Hands down KL has got to be one of my top MC Authors, well any genre if I were to be honest. Her writing style always has well thought out plots and amazing characters. Her storylines are action packed and suspenseful with bouts of humor. Plus as a rule they always touch on something that is an issue in most people's lives or that of close friends or family. Things that most readers can relate to and feel like a part of the book. Trust me when I say Raven is right up there with one of the best. His story isn’t an easy one, he’s lived with regret and the pain of losing his sister from the time he was a young boy. It’s that tragedy that brought him into the RBMC fold and now has him hot on the trail of the serial killer that has been attacking the Northwest part of the US and almost killed one of their own. While his brothers head to Vegas for some holiday fun and a visit with the Ruthless Kings MC, Raven stays home to tend the animals and work on his theories about the case. But when he hears a scream and finds a woman injured and freezing in the snow, little does he know his life is about to take a complete 180.

Outstanding read and I can’t wait for more. I highly recommend grabbing up Raven’s story and if you haven’t read KL’s MC books (Starting with the Ruthless Kings), I Highly recommend them all.

This action packed MC romance will keep you on the edge of your seat from the prologue! It has heart breaking moments, steam, and twists that will keep you guessing.

Raven stays behind when all the rest of his MC brothers head to Vegas for a little Christmas vacation. He wants to stay behind because he's been working on the serial killer case. (We learn about it in the first book, Thrasher.) There's a big snow storm headed in, so he goes to the store to stock up on supplies. While there he literally runs in to Serena. They have an instant connection and he can't figure out why.

Serena is on the run and headed to her cousins cabin. When she runs in to Raven at the grocery store, she feels their connection as well. The next time Raven sees her, it's at the bottom of a hill covered in cuts and bruises with a sprained ankle. Oh, and amnesia.

Between trying to figure out how to get her memories back and taking care of the animals in the barn, they fight their attraction to one another. It doesn't last long because their connection is too strong. I love how safe they make each other feel.

Then get ready for the twist and all the action that will keep you on the edge of your seat! I can NOT wait for the next book!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

As the Vice President of his club he has put the club first but at the same time honours his sister’s memory. Enter Serena, or is it? She is a sweet young woman on the run from the very same serial killer Raven is determined to find. Of course, an enormous amount happens, all either exciting or romantic. Serena is a sweetheart, end of story!

The suspense element in this fast-paced story is top notch and even with a shocking headache I found it difficult to put this book down. Great twists and turns make for a terrific read with loads of excitement and drama. Then there’s the steamy romance between Raven and Serena, which unfolds gracefully in a difficult situation. As the puzzle pieces get slotted in more slip out, hello book three—bring it on!

This is the second book for the chapter of the Royal Bastards. Raven has been dealing with the death of her sister for a long time. This year is especially hard given they are tracking a serial killer. The rest of the club has gone to Vegas for Christmas but Raven has stayed behind. Serena is on the run. She managed to get away but she knows it won’t be long till he comes after her. A chance meeting at the grocery store with Raven makes her wish for a different future. Then Raven finds her in the snow passed out on the edge of the Club’s property. Only this time she doesn’t remember who she is. Raven felt something for her right away but now she is need. Could she be connected to the killer they are looking for though? Raven must figure out if she is connected while fighting his feelings for her. Things aren’t as they seem either. There is more going on than even Serena knew before she ran. Will Raven and the club be able to figure everything out before its too late? I really loved this book. I love this book so much. I feel for Raven and what happened to him. Serena calls to a part of him. By helping her I think it is giving him the closure he needs, a way to move forward. I can’t wait to read the next book in for this chapter. K.L. Savage is a fantastic author and I always love her books. She has become a must read author for me. Great job on another fantastic book K.L. Savage.

This one had me hooked from the get go. My heart just broke for poor Raven.

Raven was going through his own sort of hell during Christmas. Old memories surfacing and having to deal with nightmares. And also he is tracking a serial killer. So when the club decides to visit the Vegas chapter he stays behind. While at the store stocking up for the storm that is suppose to hit he meets Serena 😊 From the minute they meet both of them have an instant connection and attraction. So later when he finds her broken and in need of help he cant seem to help himself but want to protect her… Especially when she cant seem to remember meeting him or her own name…

Awesome story. Was totally hooked from the start to the end. Raven was amazing. He was sweet and caring and even though he was coping with his own issues he couldn’t but want to help Serena… Even though she had temporary amnesia their attraction was definitely still there 😊 I loved the romance of this story and not to mention the awesome suspense. And that twist at the end there, Freaking Awesome… I cant wait to read the next one in this series and getting to know more about the rest of the guys 😊 ❤❤

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Raven is book 2 of the Royal B@stards MC Portland series by K.L. Savage. We wer introduced to the Royal B@stards Portland through Delilah. She is Reaper, Prez of the Ruthless Kings MC. The Royal B@stards in Portland have several chapters all over the country and they are written by different authors. I will admit my draw to this new series is K.L. Savage. I have yet to read a book by the author that did not grab me. The books start off with a punch and I am never left down as the story continues.

Raven is the VP. Through Delilah we were introduced to the fact that there is a serial killer on the prowl. Raven has had a run in with a killer when he was young. The event shaped who he is today. He is emotionally closed off to almost everyone. When Raven meets Serena in a chance encounter, he feels again. She disappears before he learns more about her. Later he finds a hurt woman in the blizzard. It's Serena but she can't even remember her name. Now the two of them are alone at the MC clubhouse and he has to take care of her.

The push and pull between these two just adds to the heated chemistry. Raven is so tough on the outside but a marshmallow on the inside for her. Serena shows that even struggling with everything around her she can be strong. The action happens within a small area but a lot happens. Parts will have you on the edge and you will be turning the pages, unable to stop reading. This series is another hit for K.L. Savage and Raven is a winner.
