Will ambition turn to love on a snowy Valentine’s Day?
Sami is a writer and communications professional. She hopes to move up the corporate ladder by impressing her gorgeous boss. All she needs is a chance.
Daniel is a buttoned-up executive in his family’s company. He’s lost interest in the corporate game and wants to live his dream of being a writer. All he needs is the right inspiration.
An unexpected snowstorm leaves them stranded at the Snowed Inn on Valentine’s Day, and they both see an opportunity. When a series of events foils their ambitions, can they learn to trust each other? And can trust lead them to love?
There were several spots of interesting grammatical and syntax errors, they waited for the snow to “thaw”. Snow melts, it doesn’t thaw. Add in my pet peeve of putting a period after Dr in Dr Pepper and that knocked it down to 4 stars.
Vern and Iris are a simply charming couple that I would enjoy spending time with. Samantha is intelligent, considerate and feisty. Daniel however seems to be an underdeveloped character. He was just rather blah.
Hopefully the other books in the series are as good as the prequel was.
I enjoyed this short read. Daniel and Sami were boss and employee. Daniel was hard to like. Sami was a sweetheart. Vern and Iris who owned the Snowed Inn, were two people that I would love to have as friends. They were very inviting, wanted to make sure things were right with everyone and knew how to entertain stranded guests. I feel like because it was a short read, there were areas where it could have been developed more. The ending did seem to be rushed. Other than that, I thought it was a sweet and clean book.
I enjoyed Sami's character. Daniel was more difficult to connect with even with the different povs. While I wondered what became of Sami's cousin, I know that wasn't the focus if the story. The characters at the inn were interesting but I felt we were only given bits and pieces of each couple. I had wondering about them, especially the couple that was struggling. Overall, I enjoyed the read. I liked that it was sweet and clean. I wanted a little more depth, but I would read another book from this author.
There is something magical at the Snowed Inn. I read this story through Kindle Unlimited and liked it a lot. Sami and Daniel are the main characters in this story but there are several other interesting characters and an intriguing history surrounding the Snowed Inn. I definitely recommend this sweet romance and will be reading more of the series.
I enjoyed Snowed Inn with Her Boss less than the other two books I've read in the series. Mostly because Daniel wasn't the most likeable lead. Not horrible, but definitely not someone who could be fully redeemed in the length of the novel. The ending also felt too rushed.
Samantha has had a strange relationship with her cousin ever since they met. It has put Sami in difficult situations before but this time really takes the cake. However, her news doesn't affect Daniel the way she thinks it does. It is interesting to see how each of them perceive things as to what is reality. It took a while and some extra work on Iris's part but there is an HEA.
In a world of work, strife, and more work, love found or so many think, then lost and reality of life the real love finds a way into ones heart & their life. They learn to communicate that it is the only way to keep love going. This book was a great way to see how that works. I could not stop reading. Thank you for this book.
I just wanted something quick and easy to read, and decided to try this out. The story wasn't spectacular, by any means, but it was ok enough to read to the end. It's definitely an "insta-love" type of story, and the characters really don't have any depth to them. If you're looking for some clean brain candy, this one is decent.
Although the story was predictable it had charm and the ability to draw us in and care about the characters. I felt that there were too many couples in the inn to develop and keep straight. I’m not sure they are all needed to make the story.
This sincere novel is a clean romance with a compelling storyline full of laughter, tears, and unrequited love. Will they make it? Read this great novel and find out!
Sami was a very likable character in this story. Daniel was a little harder to like and figure out. I enjoyed the side characters, especially Iris and Vern. This was a quick read with a little mystery added to it.
I loved everything about this story! It was predictable but non a very fun way. I loved the INN and Vern and Iris. I loved her warm, loving nature. I look forward to more!!
Cute Christmas read. Samantha is a good writer and has a job writing because her cousin got the top job and needed Sammi to do the work. Now her cousin has called and is leaving the job and boyfriend and wants Sammi to stand in and do the presentation. What could go wrong??
I just loved this story so much! For a little bit as the story progressed, I wasn't sure It was a love story, but as I read further, it became clear that they were in love truly and it would turn out wonderful!
Sweet story. Samantha is such a happy person and a hard worker and it's difficult to imagine her with a friend like her grumpy boss but he finally comes around.
