The Blood Fae infiltrate my lands, seeking to take over the Four Kingdoms. Their high leader wants my brother dead… and because her body is decaying, she wants to wear me as her new second skin.
I’m not in the mood to be turned into a coat, or to bury my brother. I just saved him, and united my males. I intend to enjoy this new life of mine and these four handsome, exasperating Fae kings.

This one was sloppy. Editing errors galore - wrong tenses, wrong words, missing words. Then there were the plot inconsistencies. For example, at one point Az has on cuffs that take away his ability to do magic but can still do magic anyway—it's commented on that he can't do magic two pages before he then uses his magic to burn off Alisa's corset strings. There were several other errors that made it seem like the author rushed through writing this book. I also ended up putting it down several times, because I was just getting bored. I actually went and read a different book in the middle of this one, because I kept losing interest. Plot threads were also just left dangling, such as what happened with Iony. Disappointed.

Man! This book is a rollercoaster of a ride let me tell you! It may be the fourth in a series but it is still as fresh and exciting as if it were the first book. From the beginning and all the way to the end, it is so full of action, suspense, humor, secrets, and twists that you didn't see coming that you won't want to put it down!
Alisa, the Summer Queen, and her group of males (husbands technically) have defeated her father, King Herrick only to have more enemies after them- well more specifically Alisa. They have a battle ahead of them and the fate of the four kingdoms is at stake (no pressure!). The Blood Fae have said that Herrick made a deal with them, stole from them, and now they want what they are owed- no excuses. On top of that, there is a huge bomb about Alisa that is revealed that could change the course of not only her life but the lives of her men.
As with all of May Dawson's books, there is a great deal of detail put into it. You can see it all unfolding right in front of your eyes and picture all the reactions. She truly is magical with telling her story and she makes it so real that it becomes part of you while you are reading. The characters have developed throughout the story so well and it is so natural that you feel like you know them and love them. The world-building is superb, done in Dawson's wonderful own style, it never leaves you wondering or filling in blanks.
I definitely recommend this amazing story to all fans of PNR RH fans. This whole series is filled with feisty independent women, charming yet annoying men that you fall for immediately, and a story that is never dull! These characters are so fantastic together, you'll love the chemistry between Alisa & her men, there is so much love between them but it is offset by sarcasm and banter that will have you laughing out loud! I really hope there are more stories in this universe and one of them has to be about Alisa's brother Feyre- he is a diamond in the rough for sure!

Well Ms Dawson certainly threw everything into this last book and it was one hell of an ending. Alisa (FMC), Azrael, Duncan, Tiron and Raile go through the mill to get the ending that id hoped for. Plot twists, friends, secrets and family (Both good and bad) this last book just had it all. All the loose ends were tied up nicely and it was a cracking read from start to finish. I just loved it

This series read very easily and I did enjoy the characters. While there was a bit of repetitive whining, there were definite themes of 1) you can't chose your family but you can chose to love the family you make 2) I am lovable even if others have told me I am not in the past 3) true friends will help no matter what 4) when you love someone you learn to love what they love (even if it not your favorite).
Yes, it is a fantasy and has mature content, but I really liked how the characters bond and chose to be a family and trust in each other.

Still a lot of typos but I thought it was a sufficient conclusion. Some things still managed to surprise me, but I did feel like some things happened that I didn't quite understand and some things weren't tied up nicely in the end.

I always hate last books. It is like losing friends. May Dawson is such a great author and you watch as the characters develop throughout her series but you hate not having more of the story and so it is bitter sweet even if they get a HEA. The book is a great read and look forward to a binge read day where I can just sit down and reread the entire series again.

Not only do we get the answers we wanted, we get answers to questions we didn't even know to ask!! Plus the cameos - love!! The action and intrigue is going to keep you glued to the pages, this isn't one you want to have to put down so clear some time to binge it in one go! The ending is an epic finale to the series, and lots of lovey dovey for the romantics.

repetitive but ok
Okay. So.
I love Alisa. I’ve enjoyed a lot of her struggles with the guys but they’re all now pretty comfortable… until the Blood Fae.
I thought the BF people were a little draggy. It’s a cool idea but the pacing and flow seemed weird after Alisa met with them. A lot of repeating themselves to her. “Don’t sacrifice yourself” was at least the ending to six chapters. That’s just too much unless you’re sledge-hammering me with foreshadowing.
Sex is okay. Sometimes it was hot but I wasn’t in the mood. Lots of drama. And she had one last “mission” that had nothing to do with her issue in faelands.
The bad:
More than a handful of times, I caught lines being repeated twice but tweaked. Normally that would be okay, you know? EMPHASIZING. I get it. But this happened within a few paragraphs of each other and it happened so often that I annoyingly noticed them.
It dragged in some places. Said places being Alisa’s time spent with the Blood Fae. She got jerked around a lot with the capturing and running away and then when she kept insisting safety for her husband, it draaaaaggggggeeeedddd. And all that time spent with the Blood Fae, all that drama, just for the person to die and it all being a HEA. Like no. The third book seemed like a perfectly placed ending that matched the pacing. This Blood Fae business came in so late…
Otherwise I liked this. The guys kinda got comfortable in their roles and by this point they all became dads with their dad jokes, all wearing the same things. They kinda turned dull. Not BAD, just literally like a bunch of husbands part of the same neighborhood. Dedicated to bingo on Fridays and Salsa dancing on Saturdays with the wives. Things just got… “cue funny humor” for me.
Overall? Pretty good. This book seemed like a stretch. Probably would’ve been better as a novella for me.
Would I recommend? Sorta. Depends how you took this review. I did, however, sense that a lot of the other characters (cough cough the ones with their own harem) had their own series and of course I find out at the end that they DO. I’ll see if I wanna read them. I may need a break.

At the end of the last book, Alisa fights Herrick's magic to free Faer and succeeds. For her she has her brother back and she believes they can rule together to restore the four kingdoms. Faer is not of the same frame of mind. He's not so certain they can or will forgive him for what Herrick did while in possession of his body and mind. He'd rather travel and figure out who he really is now.
Before he can depart, the Blood Fae appear in the harbor and the Summer Court is now under siege. When Alisa meets with the Samvarian and her advisor she's give a lot of information she didn't know and also an ultimatum. Her brother and her castle or Alisa and her kingdom.
No way is that happening so plans have to be made to evacuate everyone. Alisa goes with Torin to release his parents from their stone prison in the garden, not sure if it will work. That has an unexpected outcome. Faer remembers Herrick collecting and hiding things, so they make some very interesting discoveries. Alisa finds the earring key to the mirror Azrael gave her to portal to him in the Autumn Court. This will help save her people. Faer however is the one who finds the key to what may save them all. That is if they can find it. They have to travel to the Autumn Court to portal to the human realm, where they see Torin parents again.
To the human world and meeting up with old friends and making some new ones as they battle not only regular vampires but also Blood Fae during their search.
Favors asked and received, more revelations, surprises, action, tears and so much more in this stunning series conclusion!

This one was a disappointment. I enjoyed the series up to now, but this last book was just all over the place. The Blood Fae story line was lame, with no real consequences, and no real purpose. They wanted Alisa to be their queen to... what? Have babies, bringing their total population up by, what, two or three over the span of her shortened life? I had assumed they wanted her to save their people, but it turned out the Goddess just needed a new vessel, I guess, though we don't really know why or for what purpose. They were built up to be this badass race of dangerous fae, but in the end, nothing really happened. No talk about what will happen with the rest of the blood fae, either.
Those last few wedding centered chapters were weird and jarringly out of place. It was like reading the equivalent of a backdoor pilot. I didn't know who the characters were, didn't care, and wasn't given a reason to care about them at all. There was just suddenly a bunch of random strangers on page for no reason. It's also incredibly hard to believe that Alisa wanted to do a bunch of wedding stuff with literal strangers. How did she spend 5 years in the mortal world and not make a single female friend? Obviously female hunters exist. It was also sad that the books revolved around found family, and she lamented not having a mom to go wedding dress shopping with, but it never once occurred to her to ask Ellie? The woman who first found her in the mortal world and helped raise her to be a hunter??
And lastly, the pregnancy plot. I'd have taken an entire star away for that alone. The "surprise" pregnancy that shouldn't be a surprise is such a lazy device. She's having tons of sex with four different men and not taking a single precaution to not get pregnant, and all five of them are somehow shocked she's pregnant?? You're going to tell me a world with magic doesn't have birth control?? The whole "why am I being so emotional, it's not like me" trope is also frankly gross. Like women can't be badass AND have emotions without some hormonal reason like pregnancy to make it okay.

I would have given it 4 stars had it not been for that really confusing ending... I enjoyed this series alot but I had my issues and thos are *drum roll please* the following WITH spoilers:
1. I found it reaaaaaallllyyyyyy hard to connect with tiron and raile. Tiron because from the start it was like he was the odd man out cheated out of all the love story between alisa duncan and azreal. And raile felt like a villan at the start of the series and kind of creepy so moving on from that idea was difficult...
2. The constant pov. That is totally personal. I hate when the pov changes so often (too often in this case)
3. There where many so... secondary story lines? I dont know how to call this random stuff that happens and we give focus to completely random characters. To show the sweet compasionate side of the heroinr Im sure but I didnt like it because it distracted me from the story itself. It was like reading a spinoff within the story. Like come oooon let's go back to the important stuff!!
4.This really weird ending... it was like the idea was all over the place. And honestly I didn't even understand what actually happened. The villans whole goal didnt really convince me at the end. I just thought well this stressful, emotional part went by really fast... now apparently we won? Cool. Now wedding. Wait we forgot her troubled twin! Have a good life. Continues the Lost Fae series shortly after Book 3. The series should be read in order, preferably as a binge read. Watch for the change in Point of View at the chapter breaks. Lots of action and hot, graphic sex. We meet some cross-over characters from other books who help Alisa and her guys.
[CAUTION: spoilers ahead. A quick recap of story highlights, which are no substitute for the actual story!]
Alisa and her harem are confronted with the Blood Fae who want Herrick (or now Faer, since Herrick is dead) and the Summer Castle. The Samvarian wants Alisa in exchange for stopping the war. Now that Tiron's parents were restored from stone statues, Tiron is torn between them and Alisa. His parents cannot forgive Herrick, Faer, and Alisa. The team is moving everyone from the Summer Castle to the Fall domain so if the Blood Fae attack, no one will be there to be killed. The team will go to the mortal world to search for a weapon against the Blood Fae. They are distracted by a geist mystery, which they solve with the help of Ellis and Ash and their team of Hunters. Returning to the Fae world, Alisa finally ends up in the Blood Fae court, meets her birth mother, realizes her heritage, and undergoes an unexpected transformation. At last, a wedding and climaxes as Alisa and her guys have a happy, mutually satisfactory ending.

I really tried finishing this series because the story intrigued me and I liked the plot... however throughout the whole series there were so many spelling errors, incomplete words, plot holes (scenes weren't making sense or inconsistent scenes).. but even with ALL of that, I was still wanting to push through and finish the series. Even though I wasn't really enjoying it anymore sadly. The series just seemed to be dragging on.
But at about 25% in when Alisa said "I don't know why I'm so... leaky... lately", I could already tell it was leading to her being pregnant so I went and read other reviews to see if I was correct and I was. I'm not going to finish this book because I hate the pregnancy trope, add on all of the other issues I was having with the whole series and the fact that I was hoping there would have already been more intimate and sweet moments with her men and there really hasn't been. All they seemed to do was have sex or be rude to each other. Which I get playing around with your partner but I wish there would've been more tender and romantic scenes with the guys because I liked all of the characters but there didn't seem to be a connection. I think they should've developed stronger bonds throughout the other books. The series isn't horrible but I can't do it anymore.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "LOST QUEEN". WOW!!!!
What a rollercoaster ride hold on to your seat IT doesn't let up from beginning to end so full of action, mystery, angst, suspense, intrigue, humor, hot steamy scenes, secrets, lies, betrayal, twist that make for one adding story.
Alisa the Summer Queen with her harem of hot gorgeous males from various Court's Azrael, Duncan, Tiron & Raile all her husbands defeated Herrick only to have more enemies after then specifically Alisa.
Alisa & her men have a battle ahead to save the Four Kingdoms from Blood Fae saying Herrick made a deal stole from them he owes them & they want the Summer Castle also.
Alisa & her men take us on quite the exciting journey action packed she's suppose to becone the Blood Fae Queen they need to get her on their land to finish her getting her powers where she meets her mother who lied to her every chance she gets she ulterior motives.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing book you can't put down so many interesting entertain characters you'll love the chemistry between Alisa & her men the ending is laugh out funny I hope Faer her twin gets his own story.

I don't know about you, but May does a very good job at making her stories engaging and obsession worthy.
Lost Queen is the fourth book in the Lost Fae series. It shows no signs of letting up and just pushes full speed ahead with all important plot developments.
Being the fourth book, I'm seeing what I like -- straight up character development. This makes or breaks a series more than you know. No one liked stagnant characters and thank goodness this series does not hold that cardinal storytelling sin.
If you're looking at these commenst, I can assume you've read the first 3 books in the series and here you are just trying to figure out if it's worth continuing on with?
Well, my answer to that is, yes. Yes it is worth continuing on with. I mean, you've come this far...
Recommend for its amazing storytelling, awesome characters, and highly entertaining plot and your absolute need to know what happens next...

I started this series HATING Feyre, Alisa's brother..... because we are supposed to. Now, four books in and too many revelations deep, I want to see more of him - hopefully, a story of his own.
After all the events leading up to this point, you would think that Alisa and her guys would have a chance to breathe and relax a bit, enjoy this kingdom they have salvaged and saved. Yeah.... no. Her daddy issues reach beyond the grave, dragging Alisa into drama not of her own making, but placed firmly at her, and her husbands, doorstep -and the fate of the four kingdoms depends on them. Herrick.... he's the gift that keeps on giving.
It's a twisted and winding story, the kind that keep you reading long past your bedtime, just to find out what happens next - and how it ends. There were plenty of sweet moments, old friends reintroduced, more answers and, like all Dawson novels, a complicated plot that somehow ties together.

This final book is the best of them all, I wish the first and second books had been like this. As you can see from my highlights there’s many great one liners, funny moments, banter between the guys and smut (thank you Raile). Duncan becomes my favorite jealous/possessive grumpy asshole.
I took a star off because there’s still quite a few plot holes and inconsistencies. Another star because there’s so many unanswered questions at the end.
What happens to the blood Fae?
What ever happens with Tiron parents? Did his dad take the throne back?
Why can’t they just jump through to the mortal world, seems they’ve been doing it forever. Poor Carter, I was hoping he’d hit off with Calina.
Fraer then stays in the mortal world and doesn’t get to see his niece? Did they ever tell him she was pregnant?
A Zora and Az reunion would be nice.
There’s more but you get the picture.
This is a safe read with no OW or cheating.
There’s violence.

Probably the Best May Dawson series to date!!!
The world building, character developement and storey are just amazballs!
Alisa gets her Happy ending but not before she is put through the spin cycle multiple times, There is so much going on in this book that its difficult to cover in a review but we get all the answers to all the mysteries and more
Heat level is Hot and steamy plus the love and relationship dynamics are amazing in this series.
Oh and you know May is the Queen of Cameo's which i absolutley love and think it adds so much more depth - no one does cameo's as well as this author.
This is a rollercoaster series that will make you love, laugh and cry but one thing is worth noting - Its seriously addictive so if you are binge reading be prepared to lose a weekend as you wont be able to put it down

An exciting end
Alisa, the rebellious Summer fae queen, and her harem of fae royals from various courts, Azrael, Duncan, Raile, and Tiron, have defeated Herrick only to have another more disturbing enemy arise. As the story progresses a battle is imminent, a relic offers hope, and secrets flowing everywhere will either grow or explode and affect the fate of the world. May Dawson has brought another series to an exciting end with cameo appearances from across her shifter, fae, and hunter worlds. I am sad to see these characters go, but glad that the potential for a happy ending for all characters is there.

This book was a great wrap up of the series. All the characters have grown so much over the series individually and as a group. I enjoyed seeing them all finally come together and work together for their kingdoms and to finally get their HEA. As with the other books in the series there was plenty of spunk from Alisa and her guys as well as laughs, fun banter, lots of steam, action, and drama. We also get the lingering questions from the previous stories answered. I also enjoyed the crossover with the human world and Alisa’s friends from the first book. It was fun to see her old friends and her guys interact. They have several problems to deal with and lots of surprises still in store as they all fight for their kingdoms and their love. Awesome ending!

I really hope Faer has his own story in the mortal world! I loved him so much! Also wow that ending was not shocking but also was jam packed with craziness! I love her possessive males though and I really hope that Julian and Carter find and happy ending too because if they loved Alisa that fiercely, imagine what they could be with someone who returned the affection! Maybe even end up with Faer and someone in the mortal world too! I always want more smut but still it was great and I love that it’s got a good storyline to go with the romance and it’s also not just instant love and they have to work at their relationships. I need a balance of both types of romance in my reading life and this hit the spot for what I wanted right now.

Full Circle
This was an enjoyable series as Alisa the Summer Princess led us on a magical journey of self discovery and acceptance. There were plenty of sexual escapades with her hot Fae kings and it was fun reading about their adventures in and out of the bedroom. Now that the truth has been revealed, the threat can be neutralised and that old saying "Be careful what you wish for" is so true. I will miss reading about their adventures as I liked this series so much and would recommend it to anyone who loves a reverse harem book with a snarky take no prisoners kind of princess and her sexy Fae Kings.

This is the perfect ending for this series. So many questions are now answered and they finally, get their happy ever after. Not without many struggles and fights for it, but eventually they get the happiness that they deserve. I love the appearance of Ash and her guys. It has been a little while since I have read that series, so it is always nice when characters from beloved books crossover into new ones. I am hoping this opens the door for more about them. Alisa and her men have fought hard to save their kingdoms and I love to see how they have finally come together as a completed family. I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.

Not Ready to Part Ways
I thouroughly enjoyed this book. Yet, again, Ms Dawson throws us into a world of intrique, drama, and love.
Again, I am not ready for it to end. Sadly, I really hoped for Carter and Julian to be in her harem. I hoped for it all the way to the end. My wish upon a star would be that she does a follow up with this series and Alisa, Carter, and Julian meet up and realize they are mates.
I could imagine the drama that would cause with her husbands. I would love every minute of it.
This is a must read series if you don't like to choose between HEA's, love drama, love action, and love romance with a little sadness in between.

The bedroom scenes sadly felt underwhelming. The reverse harem in this case felt kind of forced, especially because two of them were brothers (I just can't see how brothers would be cool with that). The writing was repetitive and lacked substance and nuance (and if I read the phrase "the two of us" one more gd time...). There were continuity and spatial inconsistencies. Also...we just...abandoned the blood fae to all die off completely? We don't care about the people at all?
But I enjoyed the central threads of the story and the characters. I won't read more from this author but I don't regret reading this series. It was a fun, easy, no frill, fantasy rh read.

This is soooooooo good! It’s a fantastic conclusion to an amazing series that once I start reading the real world gets put on hold for a while!! It’s exciting, intriguing and is full of drama, humour, suspense, action and a whole lotta steam. Our female mc Alisa is such a wonderful, kick ass character and her men are complex and exciting and their relationships continue to grow and develop and their chemistry is off the charts! It’s been a great ride, one that I have really enjoyed and one I definitely would recommend!

4.5 stars of an amazing book! It was such a great, heart warming, and action packed book! What a way to end this series, loved the beautiful ending that the characters get and deserve.
I did catch some typos and errors in the book and that is why I didn’t give the book a full 5 stars. Which a slight bummer because the book totally deserves five stars. I’m so glad I read this and finished the adventure of Alisa and her sexy fae husbands!

This was an excellent way to wrap up the storyline. Alisa and her men finally got to work together and trusted that they could get themselves out of the situations they were in. Sure they still tried to rescue each other but they finally got to the point where the trust the other to survive to enact part of their plan. With how everything ended with the blood fae she finally had to accept that they will always love her no matter what happens. It was really nice to see into the future after the battles were won and get a pick into their happiness.

Great story poor editing
I love this series, and even though I had only read Maddie’s series before this one, I am definitely interested in reading the authors other series.
I do have to say though that the editing job in these books is truly awful. An obscene amount of words are misspelled or, mostly, just the wrong word entirely for the sentence and context.
It drove me crazy because this author obviously puts a lot of love and thought and feeling into these stories, but they are cheapened and made confusing by a lack of follow through in the editing stage.

Pretty good rh
The ending for Alisa and her men was weirdly both too drawn out and too short. I wanted more time spent developing certain scenes. There were several times where the book seemed to just jump from one scene to the next without giving anyone a chance to catch their breath. Other scenes seemed to take ages to get through and added very little to the plot. The overlapping characters from other stories was cool but maybe a little bit overdone.
