I’m not sure if this is the Novel (if there is one) or the Manhwa. I just finished reading all 131 episodes of the Manhwa. The story got me instantly hooked by the title, the plot and the beautiful art. It wasn’t just an ordinary piece of art, this had every detail of hair strand, eyes glistening and the fashion was mesmerising to see 2D come to life like this is truly amazing. The author and the illustrator are so talented and I can’t express enough my love for what they did to create such a meaningful and fulfilling story. The ending was honestly satisfying to me as an individual (I’m not sure about others). I really stayed up for 4 days devouring this delicious food. If someone has a problem with how this story ended or started from the concept of “ugly duckling” then so be it but they should be happy at least that something like this filled our imagination and brought a little oomf and sparkle into our (my) daily life. I recommend it, just go in without having too much ideas or expectation and enjoy it till your hearts content. Sylvia showed us the power to love oneself through time and dimensions to live a life that she wants. There are lessons in this story that teach us to love ourselves more and cherish others like there’s no tomorrow. Let’s live fully and love ourselves more.

This manhwa was so good from the start until the middle of the second season. I admire the female lead as she uses the knowledge from her past in the present timeline. I also like how the art continues to improve every season, however, the storyline changed drastically. At first, they will insert a certain plot and will go back to it after a couple of chapters to resolve that plot; however, from the middle of the second season until the ending, it seems that some things or stories are being skipped. I also hated how they continue to introduce characters that they will just introduce in a couple of chapters and abandon the character and the story immediately. I dropped this manhwa as I no longer comprehended everything that was happening in this manhwa.

Kinda of disappointed really.
Here I was thinking it would be a genuine ugly duck story, but it's not. And then I thought maybe it would be an inspiring journey back to health both mentally and physically, it was not.
Nope, instead all she had to do was breathe for a few minutes (with intention) and then take a bath, BOOM smoking hot with a lean build. Ugh...how convenient. Remind me again how she's an ugly duckling? Everyone treats her different because she's more confident and looks good. What kind of message is that to send into the world?

2.5 actually. I'm being generous.
Nothing remarkable about the story. It was pretty obvious who was the main villain and the real identity of our FL. I got bored near the end of season 1, but kept with it since I thought there might be something to it. It reads like a poor attempt at a self-insert Mary Sue story. Too much obsession.
