Keanu Reeves

Rate this book
Keanu is still indelibly identified with Ted, the airhead hero of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Yet he has also attracted the attention of top directors. He is sought after by Hollywood, but often seems impatient with his fame, preferring low-budget work like the 1995 Winnipeg stage production of Hamlet. He turned down the sequel to Speed to spend more time with his band, Dogstar.
In her well-researched and fascinating biography, Sheila Johnston draws on extensive interviews with Keanu's friends and colleagues, exploring the actor's early years, his complex personality and his recent life. New for the paperback is an assessment of his recent films and the latest news on upcoming projects.
