"And because the world is so big, there are many countries, cities, and cultures that have yet to be discovered and explored by kids. We created Tiny Travelers to foster curiosity, empathy, and understanding by learning what makes people and places so special."

"A+ educational content….Wonderful... to share with young kids -- to broaden their horizons and discover new places of interest!” ― Common Sense Media

"Purpose is at the core of the Tiny Travelers launch...The goal is to expose kids to the vastness and diversity of the world beyond their backyards, engendering empathy for different cultures, geographies and languages at a time when people all over the world are more connected than ever via digital platforms." ― Forbes

"The books are full of fun facts, hidden easter eggs, and rhyme-based storytelling. They’re infused with keywords from the featured country’s language, helping teach kids correct pronunciation and useful phrases for travel." ― Parentology

Tiny Travelers Treasure Quest Series is a fun giving one for children to know along about different countries in short. Such a same from the series is about 'Columbia'. There is lot from Colombia's sights, history and culture in Bogota, Cartagena and other locations of the country.

At one point where philosophers says its a small world, ask a traveller or and adventurer who find it too big to not cover in one go. I like about amazon forests and tatacoa deserts for there is a hot as well as chilly all the time in daya and night respectively.

Overall, it is a very good collection of fun loving facts.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Tiny Travelers Colombia Treasure Quest is a bright, fun and educational book for children all about Colombia. This book would be perfect to gift a child going on holiday there or just to educate them in the world around us. Each page is brightly illustrated and interesting with things to spot and find. There are snippets of information throughout the book presented in a fun way so it doesn't bore or go over the child's head.
I learned new things reading this as an adult and wish I'd had fun books like this as a child.

I love this series! We read every book in the series we could get from our local district and ILL and I made sure to include the book about the USA because I wanted my children to see how their own country was represented. We talked about what was included and what wasn't included, and whether we felt it was an accurate representation of America as we know it. I wanted to give them a foundation so they would see that, when read about other countries, it is not a complete picture but rather snippets as any single book trying to describe an entire country and its people, history, traditions and landscape is bound to miss something -- let alone a board book geared for young children. However, I am very impressed with the overall presentation and feel it covers a lot of ground in the brief space provided, giving young children a strong impression of each country represented and even as an adult, I learned some things. I also appreciate the compare/contrast element if you read these close together so you can see the main sports, festivals, animals and national parks, monuments, cities and cuisine of each country. I love that this shows differences between countries but also how we are united in our love of sports, music, food, family, natural beauty etc. We also learn about the official language of each country and I really appreciate that the pronunciation of the words is included on-page rather than having to flip to the back (and, for example, we have Japanese characters also shown for the Japanese words in the text). We also learn the capitol city, currency, official language(es), population, and world population rank of each country. The last page is a world map showing where the given country is located.

Do you know that Colombia has a forest that turned into desert? And Amazon can be found here? So many facts that I never knew and fascinating, written in simple manner for kids, with wonderful illustration that makes you want to visit the country. Always love the series, and can't wait for more.

Tiny Travelers Colombia Treasure Quest is a new instalment in the series about country studies. The book has several beautiful and intriguing pictures of the land, food, buildings and culture of this country. There are small and large maps of the country and the world as well as information about the capital, currency, population, culture and food from this region. There are several "did you know" facts as well as detailed descriptions on each page. I think this would be a great non-fiction book for students studying countries. As a grade 3 teacher I could definitely see this book in my classroom library. It is also great to know there are other books in the series! I would recommend this book for teachers and families of children in the 6-10 age range. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this great book!

Love the Tiny Travelers series! I cannot wait to go to Columbia after reading this book (just need to save enough to do it!). The Yipao parade looks like so much fun. The food looks fantastic and I cannot wait to be immersed in the culture and history.

I am Colombian and we live in the US. I wanted a book to help prepare my kiddo for our travel there. This book went above and beyond! It was a very accurate representation of the country: diverse racial characters and it went to the different regions (amazon, Caribbean, Pacific, coffee region, bogota etc) to highlight. It also highlights the food and music❤️ We loved it so much we gifted the kids school a copy and it is our favorite book to gift for birthday parties!

I love the books that are in the Tiny Travelers series, they are some of the best books available to children that want to learn more about other countries and what it is like for other kids around the world. It is another great addition to this series!

The illustrations in the book are lovely and they read bring the different pages to life. I love the way that the cultural elements are introduced, it is a delightful book all-round

It is five stars from me for this one – very highly recommended and a great way for younger readers to learn about other cultures and countries

A rhyming board book introduction to the people, culture, sights, food, and past times in Colombia.

I've seen 1 or 2 other books for littles on Colombia, but none that covered such a range of locations as this one. It also included some unique festivals and competitions (the competition for overloading trucks seems a bit crazy...though I've definitely seen trucks on the road here in Thailand that seem like they are practicing for it). A good addition to collections who want more reading options on countries for littles beyond the standard England, France, China, etc. Young readers will like the hidden picture elements and the vibrant illustrations.

Join the children to find the treasures of people, places, animals, and growing things in the Northern part of South America bounded on one side by the Pacific Ocean known as Colombia! Everything is colorful and musical there and the descriptions are in both English and Spanish. The illustrations are busy, brilliant, and fun!
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Encantos Media Studios/Encantos via NetGalley. Thank you!

This is a stunning, brightly coloured and beautifully illustrated children's book, which focuses on Colombia, and all that Colombia has to offer those who wish to explore there. It is like a little travel manual for children, which is easy to read, with fun facts about different areas in Colombia, and how the people there live. It is so interesting, and absolutely gorgeous to look at. My daughter and I loved it. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Bizarre book: rhyming text and find an object in the picture is age appropriate for the board book set, but the travelogue is odd. Pictures are cheesy. Wish the different places were located on the map. I lived in Colombia and saw quite a lot of the country during my year as an exchange student, but I most of these places were new to me.

A sturdy book that rhymes and informs younglings about the country. You get to search for an object but it is easily found - it has a golden nimbus around it. Overall, a book rec'd.

I almost feel like these are too short. We’re always so into the book that we’re always disappointed when the book is over. My kids and I really enjoyed this Tiny Travelers book about Colombia. It was a great introduction to Colombia and it showed us a beautiful and vibrant culture. There were colorful places to visit, delicious looking foods and just a really fun and culturally rich place to visit. We loved this book and we love the way Tiny Travelers keeps my kids engaged in their books. This is definitely recommended and a really great read.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
