Evermore is a standalone novella in the Salvation series by Corinne Michaels. The only book in the series I haven’t read is the first one. I know, I know. I will get to it someday.
Gretchen needs a fresh start. After being left on her wedding day, her life plans are forever changed. Without an home, husband, or a job she is off to Virginia Beach to work for her best friend’s husband’s security company. She didn’t know what to expect but she definitely didn’t expect him. Ben Pryce. Her childhood best friend. Her first kiss. Her first love.
Ben knew she was going to be working with him but he didn’t expect how he would feel. He hasn’t seen her since he was in his early teens. He never forgot her. And now, she was here. In his place of work. Looking like sin and smelling like sweetness. He knows her story. That her ex is a douche. He also knows she deserves more than he could ever give her.
Awww! I loved this book. It was a fast read with a lot of story. I loved the characters. Hard. The writing. The story. Everything. It was also great to catch up with the Cole Security family.

I was given an advance copy of the Corinne Michaels portion of this book, and it did not disappoint. Hadley and Cayden are such a memorable duo. Two lawyers with strong personalities who have this connection that is FIRE. This is a must read!!!!
