The Four Doors: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Tropes:
– Draco/Harry fanfiction
– Healer Draco/Auror Harry
– Memory Loss

When Harry loses his memory, he has to go to Draco who helps him with Legilimency.

GOD THE TENSIONNNNNNNNN IN THIS WAS UNREAAAAL. Like seriously, I was gagged. Oh my God, the way they grew together and the way the memories were uncovered–Draco knowing all along–it was just PERFECT. Four doors. Four doors. Four doors... until. YEAH. SO good. Plus, it was just so hot?Like, all they did in this book was KISS and I was swooning. (There's a 11k word part 2 where they finally do more and that was delightful as well). My only critique would be that I wish this was longer but I absolutely loved every moment of it that I got to have. WOW.

Listened to this while eating then on my way to and from Massy Marché (it's still closed, so it was for no reason other than exercise). Was biting my lips and grinning like a maniac the whole time. I suppose I default to Drarry to get out of reading slumps, though I can't say I'm surprised given my attachment to Gallaplacidia. I wonder if in the coming days I'll read more podfics or go back to fantasy?

This was a simple story. I don't feel like I can rate it higher as I doubt I'll recall it within a month or so, but it was enjoyable from start to finish. I forgot how much of a comfort this world is. In fact writing this review makes me want to look for podfics I have yet to read.

Drarry fic with the amnesia trope, which I love.
In this story, Harry lost all his memories 4 months ago, no healer has been able to help and he has 2 months to recover them. Once he reaches the 6th month, it is unlikely that his memories will return.
Enter mind healer Draco. He is the best of the field, of course, but he will have to do a legilimency therapy on Harry.
It was easy to read, each chapter is one therapy session. Then the memories are back, will Harry return to be the Harry from the past, will he continue to be the Harry from the last 2 months, or will Draco meet a new Harry that combines the two?
I liked it and I will remember this fic by how the Earl Grey tea smells.

Amazing fic. Probably the best build up of tension I've seen in a Drarry fanfic. Very creative use of memory loss, with great conflicted feelings about getting it back. The description of Harry's treatment at St. Mungo's also resonated very strongly with actual medical treatment.

Beautiful description of their feelings- loved it all. Great fic.
