From 1977 to 2003, OmniPark thrilled, astonished and educated guests of all ages.
...or did it?
While some cynics claim our beloved Odessa, Texas theme park never truly existed, we remain convinced it did - and we've written stories to prove it!
Each story in this anthology reimagines OmniPark folklore in unique, startling ways.
In these stories, you'll meet sentient sea creatures, time-traveling siblings, creeping cosmic horrors, mad inventors - and a full cast of equally memorable characters.
You'll travel to alternate universes, distant solar systems, ocean trenches, paradoxical dimensions, and other realms more fantastic still.
This universe is yours to explore. It's dark, and full of wonders.
Since 2015, Ben has traveled the world with a backpack and a laptop, immersing himself in the cultures of Turkey, Morocco, Kenya, Mongolia, and many other countries.
I really love this anthology. The thought of a futuristic theme park that might have been sparked my imagination, and the actual stories live up to the theme of the book. I think it's because the futuristic rides at the New York World's fair had such a profound effect on me. This book seemed to echo the magic I felt at that time that has reverberated through my entire life. I'd highly recommend this book for fans of retro-future Sci Fi.
I don't understand how this book only has like four reviews. It's a brilliant, interconnected collection of sci-fi horror about a fictional theme park. And it's incredible.
