Like all Scooby Doo books this one doesn't let us down.... we have a mystery to solve! Yay! Scooby and Shaggy enter a cooking contest and decide to bake Scooby Snacks, but then another contestant sees a monster and they discover the Scooby Snacks gone!!

My son got this from Scholastic as part of a 10 book pack and he can easily read it by himself, or we can read them together. If you're a fan of Scooby then you'll like this book.

Alice loves anything Scooby-Doo related. Rats right! She worked through this book for an inordinately long time because she had to study every picture before reading the pages.

Is there a monster at the Bake-Off Contest? Of course not - leave it to Scooby-Doo and the gang to solve the mystery and save the day. This is a fun book in the Scooby-Doo! Readers series. It's short, with lots of colorful illustrations and the mystery is not scary. We all love Scooby-Doo, so these books are a particular favorite at storytime. We enjoyed reading this story together.

March 2022 update: I purchased a 12-book set (the Scooby-Doo! Read & Solve series) and read each one again.

Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are in a bake-off contest. When someone has eaten all of the Scooby snacks, the gang tries to figure out who did it. This book fits the genre of mystery. This book would be good for grade k-3. There is no content in this book that would be concerning to readers. This book can be connected to math.

This book is easy to read and can be used for students who are just now learning to read, or who are low leveled readers. This book is a mystery book which is a genre that a lot of students love. This book can be used to teach students the importance of hypothesizing what they thing will happen, or in order words... how to solve a mystery. Plus, who doesn't love Scooby Doo
