It felt rushed. And because of that I didn't feel the connection or the feeling of the story

- 2.5 ⭐️
- i liked the plot idea,, it has a lot of potential but the execution wasnt the best
- the way she writes lowk gives me writing school papers,, everyday language but no contractions and kinda formal
- i can’t tell if it was because i was kinda zoned out reading it but i feel like i was missing a few parts,, i would j get kinda confused about where i was and where i was picking up sometimes
- i couldn't really imagine elly as a real person, she just looked like the girl in the cover to me
- i wish she wouldve written more about the town instead of more characters who didnt really add much to the plot,, i feel like a lot of the characters were there to spice up the plot but like 2 secs after the problem w the character was introduced it was resolved which was kinda useless

I love a good reformed Scrooge character. The Aunt of 3 sisters dies and leaves them a Christmas theme park. Think small town ( what’s funny is we have one not far from me in Cherokee called Santa’s Village) one sister is a model all traveling the world, another is getting married and the 3rd has a small furniture refurbishing business in the city. Her number one priority is fix up the Christmas park so she can sell and be done. She has 1 week and a charming handyman willing to help. Come on y’all can see where this is going right??? Yep HEA, o won’t spoil the details though. Great quick read!

The love story in this book didn’t seem super realistic, since it moved pretty fast. I did enjoy reading about elly and James, but it wasn’t a favorite. Also, the whole “I hate christmas” thing was super annoying and I felt like there was no real reason other than to be a hater

Not in the Mood for Christmas is a delightful Christmas novella and part of the Woodford Park Holiday Series.

This story follows Elly, the eldest Green sister, as she and her siblings inherit a Christmas park from their late aunt. Initially, the plan was simple: visit the park and sell it. However, unexpected complications arise, prompting Elly to stay and sort things out before putting it on the market. Enter James, the charming handyman, who comes on board to help with repairs. As Elly works alongside James and begins to appreciate the magic of the park, she starts to question her original plans. Could she leave her old life behind and embrace a fresh start?

This short, sweet, and clean holiday romance is perfect for anyone looking for a lighthearted read during the festive season. The story centers on Elly’s journey of rediscovering Christmas through her time at the park and her budding romance with James. The characters are endearing, and the setting exudes holiday cheer.

Some of my favorite moments include the scenes with the pig (adorable and hilarious!) and the warmth of Christmas morning.

I highly recommend this novella to readers seeking a cozy and uplifting holiday story.

Elly is a struggling small business owner in New York, when she finds out that her eccentric aunt has passed & left her Christmas Farm to her & her two sisters. This is the perfect chance to bring her business out of the red. Selling the farm will be the best for all involved, since they hadn't seen their aunt in twenty plus yrs. However, the cast of characters she meets once she arrives has her taking a step back & rethinking everything.
James is a wealthy man from New York who had to give up everything to take care of his nieces when their mom dies. He moves them back to his small home town knowing it will be best for the girls. He doesn't expect to find a beautiful woman wanting his help to restore her farm. Getting involved with Elly would be a terrible idea since she plans to leave, but can he make her see why staying would be so much better? This quirky little town has two beautiful girls that make Elly's heart happy, a crazy Santa, two families that basically run the town & a whole cast of animals to fall in love with. Oh & James, this town has James!! Enjoy

If you want a short Christmas novella (less than 100 pgs) that feels like a Hallmark Christmas movie, this is perfect.

Elly and her two sisters have inherited a Christmas village from their aunt when she passes away and Elly is determined to fix up the village and sell it, while her sisters are too busy with their own lives to help out. James is a small town handyman who is trying to raise his two young nieces after his sister dies and leaves them in his custody.

This was a short and sweet story about love and loss and finding the Christmas spirit.

I was hoping to get a cute little short read and I think the story had a lot of potential, but it fell flat. I think the problem was that the plot was too big of one to fit into a short story. It made the story felt rushed, and also choppy when it came to the details. Also I’m sorry but the amount of grammatical errors drove me crazy in book - especially given the fact I was reading an e-book version that could have easily been corrected😅

I wanted a cutesy pootsey, quick holiday read in between some bigger books and this one hit the spot. I snagged this one while it was free!

Elly Green has never liked Christmas. Even after inheriting her Aunt Milly’s Christmas Park, she plans to sell it all. James, a local handyman, helps her rebuild the park and also her relationship with Christmas.

This was a cute and short Christmas story. I wanted to know what Elly was going to decide. It also reminded me of a place I went to when I was a kid called Christmas Village. I definitely recommend if you want a quick read about Christmas.

Not in the Mood For Christmas by Jenn Winters

This was a fun festive read about a woman who inherits a Christmas park from her aunt. It was a sweet romance that reminded me alot of a christmas hallmark movie. It's a lovely read and I enjoyed the characters and the town it is set in.

I really liked the book but was disappointed at the many mistakes. I have the paperback so maybe this has been corrected in the e-book.

Grumpy x Sunshine where the MFC is anti-Christmas. Mr Sunshine Handyman helps change her mind and helps her fix up her Aunt’s Christmas Park.

Super short but nice little story. Loads of spelling & grammar mistakes though?! Would read another as a light hearted filler between thrillers etc.

tiene muchos errores, pasa todo DEMASIADO rápido y el protagonista es tan intenso que le hace show a la protagonista después de haberse dado solo un (1) beso.
