Haley Ryan is the pen name of an author who can’t seem to stop saying “just one more.” One more cookie, one more cup of coffee, one more chapter, one more book, one more genre…

So far she’s explored fairy tales, science fiction, romantic fantasy, contemporary romance, and now urban fantasy, all with a few things in common—compelling characters, intriguing plots, fun banter, and clean romance.

Haley is a fan of coffee, scones, barbecue, cats, and sometimes jiujitsu, where her primary goal is to someday figure out how to trip her opponent before she trips herself.

(Haley’s other books can be found under the pen names Kenley Davidson and Kacey Linden.)

Okay, had to go back and read this after reading Raine and Callum's story, and I recommend you read this before you read The Shifter of Sheridan Avenue trilogy. I did it that way, so I already knew the outcome of this trilogy and some of the high points that were mentioned in TSoSA.

However, since I'm a speedy reader, I was able to get through this the same day so I didn't have time to dwell on what I had learned, so that helped as my brain was already in story overload. I found this quite the adventure, and Kira was not quite as self-assured as she became, and that was a bit hard to reconcile to begin with. Yet, the characters grew on me (because I'd already met them and liked them), so in a weird way it worked out for the best.

This was a fast paced, action filled trilogy, with great characters, a lot of fun interactions as the characters developed over the course of their stories, and who doesn't love a good forbidden romance with a paranormal twist? So much fun. Will definitely put this on my reread list.

The Dragon of 23rd Street was such a fun and lively read! I was very lucky to start this series as a box set, so as one book finished, I could immediately find out what happened in the next one!

I received an ARC of this book and I am happy to review it with my own thoughts. Kenley Davidson is a master at crafting vibrant characters and compelling stories that keep your interest.

I thoroughly enjoyed her lively cast throughout this series. The story was definitely action packed! I enjoyed her side characters and was glad to see some of them featured more and more throughout the box set.

Kira was a fun and spunky heroine who met her match in the dark and broody Draven. Their slow burn romance kept you on the edge of your seat!

I highly recommend Dragon of 23rd Street as an action packed story that keeps the reader wholly entertained!

Pros: Fun story! Cons:A bit dark and not squeaky clean

Parents Guide: no sex, some kissing. Some swearing (da**, b***h, although not in every chapter), moderate violence (death and assassins and war and self defense) some of the characters are shape shifters (and their clothes can get ruined when they morph, so some nudity)

Overall, the characters are demential and fun. I liked the main character Kira although I felt like mentally shaking her at the beginning. Draven is a cool. I liked his story arch.
It was fun having my hypotheses and theories throughout the book and seeing many of them come about. Some twists I did not see coming and that was fun too.

It's so Good

Wow! Great story. It was a great clean read. The ending was intense but happy. I'm glad there was a bit of a prologue to settle it up. Haley Ryan has done an excellent job with this story. If you like writing similar to Shea's, then pick this up pronto. The humor was great and there were some unexpected twists and turn that I didnt see coming. But on a great way, not what I would have predicted.
