**Author's A Love So Wrong is a standalone forbidden romance set in my new town of Stardust Cove. Containing steamy stepbrother themes and a dash of dark romantic suspense, this forbidden love story is intended for mature audiences. This book is written in the third person, contains no cheating and no cliffhangers, does have voyeurism and a guaranteed HEA.

OH DEAR LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!!!

"A Love so Wrong" is a exciting, heartbreaking and sexy love-story between the young step-siblings Gideon Lattimore and Jade Lattimore. They have known each other since they lived in orphanage together and have only ever trusted each other. The innocent love Gideon felt turns into much more while he grew up and watched his step-sister grow into a beautiful swan everyone wanted to possess. In this book they will face hardships they never thought will come their way especially after their fostermother takes back her drug addict son after their father dies and have to take on the road of being grown ups and desperately trying to fix back their home again-while Gideon does everything in his power to finally win the passion of love from Jade.

***
"You know we can't stay right?" he whispered, but she said nothing in reply. "It would just be more of this, day in and out," he explained, and she could hear the urgent need for her to understand in his tone. "I can't do this to us, not to you. I can’t leave you here as I go to school and work each day just hoping he doesn’t fight with you or worse…try something else. I could see the way he looked at you, I could see the way he looked around the house with satisfaction like he won the goddamn lotto. I'll end up killing him, Jade, I know it." -Gideon
***

Gideon may only be 20 years old,but daymmm how manly and alpha he was!Underneath that smoldering body was a heart of gold-and he was so smitten and possessive when it came to Jade!ME LOVED IT!He always wanted her attention on him and the way he was willing to die for her made me want to swoon!Jade was 19 years old and had worked very hard to win the love of their foster parents. In a way that was too much for my taste since she never grew a backbone towards her foster mum and it only got worse after the father died.No wonder Gideon got pissed about it.She was so innocent and naive that she couldn`t even see how obsessed Gideon was over her since he practically had hearts on his eyes for her!It took a russian mobster for her to realize it!Oh and i also hope that russian mobster get his own book.He may be twisted and sick in a way..but i felt more depth from him.I also wonder if Jade`s friend Ebony get together with her step-brother Gavin?I am feeling they will get a book together!

I think for me this book had so much potential but sadly it felt a bit short. It’s just personal taste but as possessive as Gideon was I expected him to be more ok with being with Jade but it was more Jade herself who kept wanting to get passed boundaries. I think Gideon was definitely alpha when it came to Jade but his actions with pulling away (even though I did understand why) was just contradictory with his actions and feelings. Jade was ok but I found her a bit too immature sometimes and her actions a bit annoying. Overall this was still a decent read but I wouldn’t say one of my favourites by this author.

Would have been great if the author didn’t play into the double standard. She’s another who is afraid to have her hero show that he actually loves the heroine by not screwing other girls. Yes it’s so attractive to read an over the top hot guy who is obsessed with the heroine to the extent that she can’t even go on a date, but he can go out with any random skank. Not hot not sexy. I lllloooooooovvvveeeee an over the top hot jealous sexy guy who is obsessed with the heroine, but I can’t buy it when he only loves her enough to stop her from touching another guy. He doesn’t feel like he owes her the same so he goes from sexy to douchebbag really quick. Note to author... Loyal heroes are hot. And pulling th crap of not having her throwing a fit doesn’t save you. It makes your heroine look like an idiot doormat.

My thanks to NetGalley and Katerina Winters for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

I admit, I am not a huge romance reader. Since this crazy thing called the Pandemic, I have turned towards books with a guaranteed happy ending, as I needed some escape from the real world. I am also trying to read more romance books, as our customer base is heavy on the romance reading and I like to have different things to suggest to our customers, even if what they read isn't my favorite genre. Not knocking romance, it has it's place and it has been helping me through a tough time.

That being said, this didn't really work for me. It was ok until the Deus Ex Machina of the impossibly young Russian mobster was introduced. Then the shark was jumped and I just couldn't go with it anymore. It would have made more sense if the adopted not-biologically related, but raised as brother and sister couple came to the (obvious) realization that they were into each other on their own while they were on the road.

I could buy the going the way of dementia mother choosing her biological POS druggie son over her good, but not biologically hers, kids. Shitty thing to do, but believable. I could kind of squint my eyes and pretend that they wouldn't have acted on anything physical between them until after they left the house, denial is a powerful thing.

But when the Russian mobster got into the picture, I just couldn't. Now, I know that there are those out there who enjoy reading mob love stories, in which case, this could be a good springboard into the series this author seems to have. I admit, while I didn't like the "fairy Godmother" mobster, I AM interested in learning his and his henchman's backstory and would like to see them both have a successful love arc, so this book did interest me in this author's other works, even if this one didn't do a lot for me.

So, I would recommend it for those who are into mob love stories and don't mind that that story thread doesn't come into the picture sooner and is more of an intro than anything else. Also if you don't mind the "raised as brother and sister, but have anything but brotherly/sisterly feelings for each other" trope. It didn't bother me, as they were clearly not related, though the H really needed to cool his possessiveness. That was a bit much.

2, it wasn't for me but I will recommend it at the store and to others, stars. It wasn't written badly and I want to take a look at her other works.

This book had so much potential….and it just squandered it. The premise was great, the execution was sorely lacking.

Gideon and Jade are adopted foster siblings. They’ve known each other since they were kids, and a couple adopted them together. They both call the couple mom and dad. So, they’re not blood related, but society sees them as siblings. For convoluted reasons, they have to leave home and travel together on the road in a truck…which provides a perfect opportunity for forced proximity leading to those tortured feelings coming out.

This is all good stuff, in theory! It’s taboo, forbidden, slow burn, longtime love since childhood, and it’s cleverly got a version of incest that’s more readable to those of us who can’t stomach real incest books, but still like taboo. The problem is, first of all, they’re both bland. Second of all, it's not a spoiler to say that they have to travel together in a truck, since that’s in the blurb - but that doesn’t happen until 30% into the book! This story does NOT need this much set up. A lot of it is with their parents, who are mostly irrelevant and just there to incite the plot. We don't need 20 different long and boring reasons to justify why they're in this situation, we just need one semi plausible reason that takes up the first 5-10%. I would have liked the first 30% more if the story did a GREAT job of digging into their relationship and building that angsty tension - I love Birthday Girl, which has a slow set up! - but nope, this one is mediocre.

The other major problem is that this book throws in an external factor to push them together. Through another unnecessarily convoluted set-up, some random guy makes them kiss just for his own kicks. Seriously! So, they end up admitting their feelings because of a Deus Ex Machina rather than because of anything organic in the story, or in their development.

The subplot with this random guy also makes this story abruptly shift genres from a quiet small town forbidden love story into a captive/mafia story. This doesn't work at all. And I like captive and mafia stories! But it's bizarre to tack one onto this when that hasn't been its vibe at all.

It's a shame because this has a good premise….but it drops the ball on everything else that matters.

**FULL REVIEW**

So...have you seen the movie "Blue Lagoon"? I had total BL vibes with this book...

Except they're truckers from Texas...and not on a deserted island in the tropics somewhere. They're literally sharing a truck cabin.

Adopted foster siblings, Gideon and Jade, hit the road after their adopted father's sudden death, and we learn just how deep the desire goes for the two of them as they grapple with their hidden emotions.

Slow burn, slow build...HUGE PLOT TWIST!

We get a glimpse into a third party and his kinky fetishes as the adventure Gideon and Jade embark on land them in Las Vegas. Here is where "brother and sister" finally get to act on their feelings...but, not without some twisted complications.

Overall, I was actually impressed with this little extra. It's what kept me reading when I was honestly considering a DNF. I thought it would be a flat ending with nothing really happening except for some serious possessiveness from our hero concerning the girl he loves.

NOPE.

Worth the read if you can wait out the build-up...I usually don't have that kind of patience. I'm so glad I did though because it was different and definitely page-turning.

I'll be checking out other titles by this author!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I liked the premise. This is a foster brother and foster sister who were then adopted. Them being foster kids who were adopted together actually made this more taboo and forbidden than if it was a stepsibling romance.

This is most definitely a very, very slow build. A good portion of the book has them dealing with drama with their mom and her biological son. It then became a road trip where they are forced to be in close proximity with each other.

There is a twist that happens about 65% in the book that almost makes it a different book. It gets much spicier. The first part was too slow for my tastes but it was a little jarring to go from PG to R rated more than halfway through the book. It felt like the stove was on the lowest level simmer and then switched to the highest heat level.

Also turned into a different genre for a bit before returning to the family drama.

This would be good for anyone wanting a forbidden romance that has a slow build but then gets a little kinky(voyeurism) before getting to the sugary sweet ending.

Even though the first half was a bit slow, I still enjoyed it until the "plot twist", then it felt like a completely different book.

Safety:
-18 h/20 H
-virgin h
-the H has experience yet kept chasing away guys that wanted the heroine, love that double standart
-not really any ow drama, only the h being jealous of girls that want him
-om drama: the h goes on a date
-no cheating

Holy shit did I absolutely loathe the Dimitri/Vegas subplot. I feel blindsided and cheated and betrayed and I hope to never see this author's name for having done me so wrong. How could anyone look at this and go "yup, forcing them together in the creepiest way possible out of the fucking blue is exactly what we needed". It was a 5 before all that bullshit happened.

TEMPTING & FORBIDDEN LOVE!

I love a good forbidden romance and A Love So Wrong by Katerina Winters had it in spades!!! Foster siblings raised together; Gideon & Jade have experienced some harsh life events together and it's created a bond and love that is almost unbreakable. I went into this book just anticipating a forbidden foster sibling romance but I was surprised with the most delicious twist leaving me shocked and speechless. I've never read anything quite like this and I most definitely enjoyed the twist that it added to the already "forbidden" romance!

Although I admit the first quarter of the book felt a bit slow moving for me. I definitely think that is because I just finished reading a few books back to back that were less than 200 pages each. Somehow I think I had let myself fall into a little rut with those shorter stories and since this one didn't move as fast as those it just threw me for a minute. I think going back to a bit longer read I didn't anticipate the added depth that comes with those additional pages but I certainly enjoyed the background and depth within these pages and I loved the two main characters! Because of that I was able to sense the connection that had built between these two characters prior to where the book initially started in their relationship.

A forbidden step-siblings romance that is a little bit of an emotional roller coaster.

Gideon and Jade are adoptive step siblings and have learned throughout their lives that they can only truly rely one each other. Life continues to throw them curveballs and they are forced to take their adoptive fathers truck and live a life on the road, though that isn’t always easy for them.
The story itself started out slow for me, it took some time for the story to take off and the plot begin to thicken. From the start you could feel the connection between Gideon and Jade and you could feel it continue to grow as the story progressed.

This story is written in a third person POV which I know isn’t for everyone and that can make it hard to connect to the story itself, however, if that doesn’t bother you then you’ll be fine.

A Love So Wrong was an enjoyable story and if you’re looking for a YA-ish forbidden step-sibling romance this is one you’ll enjoy.

Okay so I absolutely LOVED this slow burn read. So much so that I’ve already one clicked another 3 of her books.

It’s got a beautiful flow to it and I loved the constant small glimpses into each characters thoughts. While it’s low on heat until the last section of the book the tension & chemistry had me just as hooked.

The plot twist in Vegas was SOOOOO GOOD! I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I received an arc of this book.

I loved the idea and how Katerina went with the plot of this story...the siblings, not blood related, are forced to take to the road in their adoptive dad’s semi to try to survive. It was a new and refreshing approach to the taboo step-brother romance genre; I really enjoyed how sweet Gideon and Jade were to one another, I loved the twist to the plot that happened, and the sweet HEA.

The reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the 3rd person POV - it took away from my capability of fully immersing myself into the story and completely connecting with the story. If you can read with that type of POV I would definitely recommend this sweet and spicy tale. I am still a fan Katerina’s but this isn’t going to be one of my favorites of hers because of this.

Jade and Gideon met in the foster system and have become inseparable ever since. The two end up being adopted by a couple, where the son was kicked out of their home after getting involved in a series of bad indole situations.
They couldn't be happier to be able to continue together, but as the years go by Jade and Gideon begin to develop feelings for each other, but neither suspects the others feelings.
After Jade graduates from high school, a piece of news shatters the family structure they have been living in since they were adopted.
The delinquent son returns when he finds opportunity in his mother's fragile state, which leads Gideon and Jade to take a trip in an RV.
Alone and sharing a small space 24/7, it becomes almost impossible to keep hiding what they feel.
Will they finally do something or will they need a little push to do so?

The fact that the two are adopted and it's a forbidden romance is what caught my attention.
However I couldn't connect with the characters or the story enough to hold my attention.
I found myself putting aside reading the book a few times.
I don't think it is a bad book.
I liked Jade, I thought she was too submissive to her adoptive mother at first, but I can see the reason for that.
Gideon irritated me in some parts. I think he is a little too aggressive and the way he reacted when he found out Jade had a date was ridiculous.
While I didn't love the couple themselves, there were some cute moments.
Starting at 65% the book definitely took a different turn than I wasn't expecting, and I'm still not sure how to feel about that. I can say it was a little crazy and spiced things up between the two, which I liked.
I think maybe if it had been written in 1st person instead of 3rd person, it would have connected me more with the main characters. This is more of a difficulty of mine.

Although it wasn't what I was expecting, the idea was interesting.

I loved the characters created and the storyline. This started off as a slow burn, sweet romance, but about 2/3rds in a twist occurs and it turns into something more more steamy and different.

The author gives us a glimpse into a world I’m not so familiar with and I loved the details around that.

The only thing that kept this from a 5 star read from me is that when the twist came it felt like it came out of nowhere and it took me a bit to be able to switch gears.

I also felt like - even though this is clearly a stand alone and NOT a cliffhanger, there were a few loose threads at the end so I’m curious if this is going to be part of a series and we will see more of some of the characters we meet here in later books.

Very highly recommend this author and this book.

This is my first book by this author, and I can honestly say that I really enjoy reading this book, and for sure I’m gonna check other books from Katerina Winters in the future.

I picked this book because I wanted to read something out of my comfort zone, something different. And it was the best idea, because I loved it.

The book focuses on two siblings, Jade and Gideon, who are not related by blood, who are forced to take to the road in their adoptive dad’s semi-truck to survive. After their dad sudden death, they can no longer stay at home. Ratched with pain and grief, their adoptive mother welcomes back with open arm her abusive, scary, drug addict son, and by doing this, she forces Jade and Gideon to live the only place they ever called home.
They have to leave because they are no longer safe there, especially Jade and Gideon would stop at nothing to protect her.
Knowing that this day would come, their father came up with a plan: they would take his truck and hit the open road, while running his trucking business and leaving their mother and her good for nothing son to fend for themselves.

Jade, she is the perfect girl and the perfect daughter: never answers back, always on top of her school work, has the perfect GPA, and is in charge of most of the house work as well. She tries her best to make her parents proud and to never give them a chance to regret the fact that they adopted her and Gideon.

Gideon, he is every girl dream. Tall, handsome, with a body that would make all the Greek Gods jealous, the football star player, had only one goal: to always protect and care for Jade. He loves her to the moon and back and would do anything for her.

It was a slow, slow burn but in the end this is what gave the beauty to this book. We got the chance to see them interact, see how easily they gravitate towards the other. I adored seeing them together, they mold perfectly. The attraction and chemistry between them is undeniable. The way they care for the other is so sweet and beautiful.

One thing I did not expected, was that plot twist. I’m still not sure what I think about that. Even though I’m not so happy with the way Dimitri managed the whole punishment” situation, and his methods, I have to admit that in the end all worked out.
The two were both too stubborn to admit and act on their feelings, and they needed a push in the right direction. And that is exactly what Dimitri did, in his own dark and twisted way.

* I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review *

This was my first time reading this author. I was unsure how I really felt about this book. While I am down for the stepbrother theme, I am not a fan of reading romance with teenagers. This did affect the way I may review it because I had a hard time connecting with the characters.

Jade annoyed me but I am sure her age is partly to blame for that. I can understand how her history would make her worry that her parents might change their mind about adopting her. I am sure that could be a worry for other children in the same situation. The whole trying to please my mom situation made her character seem even younger and less mature. Her personality was really lacking throughout most of the book. All I knew was that she was in high school, knitted, did whatever her mother wanted and was attracted to her stepbrother.

I really liked the idea of Gideon and Jade getting together. My only issue was that although we read some type of attraction to the other, I just did not feel it. Normally I expect to feel the emotions along with them. The only time I felt anything was when they were in Vegas and even that was short lived. I wish we got to see their connection build as they got older and then have it turn into something.

While I knew that they would eventually let their feelings turn into something, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would happen that way. The whole Vegas trip was the only thing that kept me intrigued. Where the rest of the story was lacking that part almost made up for it. As good as it was, I still wish the rest of the story did more to keep me interested. Again, I think my lack of interest in the Young Adult category affected the way I viewed this book. The plot had good bones, but it just didn’t get where it needed to be for me.

I have not read this Author before. Unfortunately, I was not 100% comfortable with the subject and it ended up affecting my review for this book.

Jade and Gideon are foster children. They were legally adopted by the Lattimores and are not related by blood. Jade is 17 and Gideon is 20. They are extremely close for siblings and Gideon is ultra-protective of his "sister". When they are kicked out of their adoptive home after their Father dies, they take Gideon's truck on the road and travel the country doing deliveries.

If you can get past the sibling love part, the story would be fantastic. Two siblings travel the country together is a great premise. However, Jade really lacked a personality. She seemed closer to 14 rather than 18. She seemed to lack any kind of common sense and logic. The character of Gideon was very much wasted on her.

Though the idea that siblings would be attracted to each other has been done before, however, in this novel, I had a hard time feeling this attraction. Gideon seemed smart, determined, and accomplished. I could not see why he was in love with Jade and why.

A Love So Wrong just did not catch me. It was a slow burn, which was good because I felt a strong sense of anxiety at these two eventually hooking up with each other. The last part of the book seemed very far-fetched and didn't fit in at all with the rest of the story. The one thing I did like about this is that it sped up the story, which moved as slowly as Jade and Gideon did. The story had some great things about it but in the end; it disappointed me. Katerina Winters has amazing writing. I just felt the story lacked.

The first thing I’m going to say is that I really enjoy this book.
Gideon and Jade Lattimore had been inseparable since they were foster kids together. When they are adopted by the same family, they are rise to be brother and sister in a beautiful, sleepy town by the ocean surrounded by family and friends, where their sparkling futures were all mapped out.
But everyone knows perfect things never last.
Cast from the only place they had ever called home, Jade and Gideon are forced to downsize their lives into seventy-seven inches of their recently deceased father's semi-truck. Together they travel across the US, taking every paying load they can in hopes of planning out a new future. With every mile passed, tensions begin to build, and unspoken feelings between them begin to rise to the surface, daring the other to acknowledge them first.
But one poor decision comes crashing through their fragile existence, and it may just cost them their lives--or it just may make their forbidden dreams come true.
Reading this book, I have the strange feeling it was written by two different authors. Most of the book is dark with repressed feelings, but sweet and emotional. Then the story changes and is super-hot and steamy and a bit absurd. Don’t get me wrong, I REALLY enjoy de steamy parts, but the change didn´t seem fluid to me. Apart from that, the book is really good and enjoyable!
I love that it struggles with social boundaries and believes.

Final Score - 4 Stars

This is my first book ever by the author and I have say - I loved the concept/idea.

The plot of this story focuses on two siblings, not blood related, who are forced to take to the road in their adoptive dad’s semitruck to survive. Staying home would not work for either of them. Their mother, a manipulating fragile woman has allowed their abusive, drug addicted adopted brother to move back into the family house - something the father knew would happen. So he came up with a plan just in case it ever happened. They take his truck and hit the open road, running his trucking business - and leave their mom behind.

I have long been a reader of the step-siblings romance troupe and this was a new and refreshing take. I enjoyed that while the parents honestly did love the children, the children knew from the start that they were only one's each other could ever really rely/depend on. I also enjoyed how sweet Gideon and Jade were to one another - from their foster home to their new home, each protected the other.

What I did not see coming was that plot twist. Still don't know how I feel about that. It kind left me feeling a little on edge that the other shoe would drop and something awful would happen. I still don't know if I liked it, but I can say I definitely did not love it.

I will definitely keep a look for future books and go back and read some previous releases.

You know when you ride a roller coaster and, at the beginning, you slowly go up that steep incline with your head pressed to the back of the seat? You patiently look up at the sky anticipating the wild ride you know is coming once you are past the apex. Then, all of a sudden, there you are zooming so fast and enjoying every moment with a huge grin on your face. That is the experience you will have with this story.

The story had a slow build-up as it reviewed the happy life Gideon and Jade had before tragedy struck their lives. Then, the author threw in a twist that sent the story into a totally unexpected direction. Gideon and Jade’s wild ride to their HEA was absolutely breathtaking. I have never read a story that was anything like this one. It was a great, imaginative fantasy and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gideon and Jade were in foster care together, and then adopted by the same family. Circumstances force them to leave home together; now they're traveling together, working and living in a big rig. I really enjoyed this book. Gideon and Jade have a very slow burn attraction going on, with both of them thinking that they're alone in their feelings. Jade is still in high school when the book begins; she's somewhat sheltered in her life views, and doesn't want to rock the boat with their parents. Gideon is a couple of years older, and holy hotness! He's got his stuff together, working hard to achieve his goals. About two-thirds of the way through, the story takes a dark turn, something completely unexpected. It's not necessarily a bad thing, because it forces Jade and Gideon to confront their feelings and decide what's most important to them.

This was a DNF for me. I stopped about 15% in. Gideon was WAY too possessive and a but creepy to be honest.

Also Gideon seems to dislike VERY large parts of Jade’s personality? Like he’s constantly upset about something she did it said, that he then notes is normal for her?

Also got a bit weirded out by “with practiced moves” taking about him sneaking into her room, when she seemed surprised that he was in there? She seemed upset too that he would invade her space so eww. The parents also planning to keep him away when Jade went on a date because they knew he would freak and get angry— no thank you a bit too creepy for me. But what really got me is that Jade referred to Gideon as her brother in her head so it made me uncomfortable to think about that changing— at least on Gideon’s end it seems like he didn’t accept that but Jade seems to.

What in the actual f**k is this book and who could come up with the plot? First of all this feels weird how even though the couple is a couple of years age different in the start of the book the female character is an underage virgin of 17. The male is super protective to the point of obsession and pretty much everyone in their small town knows he is in love and wants to sleep with her. One thing I did enjoy was the father figure in story, Henry was lovely character to read. He is a long haul truck driver and sets up a plan for his “kids” in the event that things go downhill after his passing. This book feels like it was written in the early 2000’s instead of 2021. It was like a train wreck you couldn’t look away and a lot of the the later half of the book I skimmed through. Also the whole Vegas storyline is just a whole lot of f**kery and messed up. If you have read it you know what I mean.

Something about a forbidden love that makes it that much better. Gideon and Jade were both adopted by a nice family after already forming a bond when he saved her from being hurt by other kids at the group home. Right away you already know they care about each other like really care for each other. Their dad falls sick with cancer and dies, and the mom (who is very clingy and needy) invites her drug addiction son to stay there then making Gideon and Jade leave. They start doing truck runs like their dad used to do, so being that much closer to each other you witness their love grow. After a night in a strangers house they go to a hotel and the man (who owned that house) makes them do things. This is where it gets STEAMY!! Like wow I was sooooo surprised. This really was a great story and I absolutely loved the ending!! Thank you to BookSirens for my arc for an honest review.

My main issue with this book is that while our main characters are not related by blood they are also not step-siblings. In the eyes of the law, they are siblings because they were both adopted from foster care by the same parents. It is also an added issue that these two were children when they met. Jade was eight. In step-sibling romances, they are usually adult age or very close to it when they first meet and they have not been raised together. This made me somewhat squeamish. Taking out that aspect it was a great read, thrilling and fast-paced. There is sexual abuse and also forced sexual encounters so if the characters familial relationship doesn't out you off that might.

I have read this before when I was only reading mf and enjoyed it. I liked it even more this time. This book is so very good and it is beyond hot! This author writes sympathetic women, ones that we can like and that don’t send female readers to mm romance to get away from shrill, angry, or stupid heroines. Jade and Gideon are so very well written, their dialogue and inner monologues are very honest. The desire between them, when it is realized, is like fire! This author could write a primer on mf sex scenes that have romance in them. Gideon and Jade were so uninhibited and free during their smoking hot sex. The depth of their commitment to each other made those scenes even better. This was an excellent story with good writing and a twisted fairy Godfather who helped the H/h get their beautifully written HEA.

3.5 Stars!!!

So this slow burn romance by a new to me author took me on a a slow journey of a forbidden love. One that had a surprise twist that I never saw coming and was different from anything that I've read. A Love So Wrong is a story of two adoptive, non-blood related siblings who have a hidden love for each other. Gideon and Jade's story was really different than anything that I've read and I enjoyed it for the most part. It was a little slower to my liking and the twist of their story had me on the fence of if I liked that part or not. I'm still on the fence about that part, but I can say it was a twist that I never could have predicted and I do love when I can't predict a story. If you love a slow burn, forbidden romance with a unpredictable twist, then this is a book for you. I'll be on the lookout for more books by this author as that I do love a story that is unpredictable and she sure delivers on that.

Happy Reading Everyone!!!

The character of Gideon was put together driven and very caring. Jade was a great character and easy to like she could be your friend. They are not blood relations but were adopted and lived together. They both harbored feelings for the other and when circumstances come around they take off in their adoptive dad's semi and try to keep his business going. As they are contained in the cab of the truck feelings are coming to the surface, tensions rise. This is a story of strength, love, and family. It was a great story with wonderful characters.
