Typical Hoffnung cartoons featuring 'The Conductors', 'Bel Canto', 'The Soloists' and 'Mainly Instrumental'.

Plenty of movement and eccentricity in all the cartoons with the conductor who is 'Con adornamento' looking the most interesting as he mixes his conducting with some wishful dreaming while 'Elegantemente' looks suspiciously like Sir Malcolm Sergeant.

There are also some formidable beautiful singing ladies in the Bel Canto section and some tough looking dames in The Soloists while the Vacuum Quartet in A Flat have fun making music via their hoovers. They all make for a chuckle, particularly for those with a musical bent.
