This book introduces the reader to 60+ woman who sought to live in light of the person and work of Jesus Christ in various ways. So many women whose names I’ve never heard…I found myself wanting to know more than the brief snapshot included in the book and wanting updated information since this was published in 1988. A good book to whet one’s appetite on the subject matter. Wish it had focused more on exalting Christ than woman, per se, but this tends to be a common weakness in books like this.

This book has been around for a while and I'd read both others by this author and some of the books she quotes as sources... but never this one. Now, having read it, I'm going to be recommending it above the others as one of the best resources on this topic.
