Very long winded, parts rhyme well and other parts drag. Even I got bored, so there was no chance in keeping the Kids focused.

Truly a different time period. The little details of a trip that would be so different in modern times. A cute story of a vintage past.

Well, the lady in this book is terrible. She's awfully aggressive toward the taxi driver because of things that are not within his control, and she encourages him to drive very unsafely. At one point her little boy almost flies out the window! And she hits her head on the top of the car!

Anyway, this story doesn't really have much to it, and I think her impatience and demanding nature is kind of lame.

(It took three people to write this story?)

I read this to my nephew today and since I'm also doing the #cramathon and one of the challenges is to read a children's book, I will count this one!
