T’is the season to torture your partner with bad erotica! 🎄 ⛄️
Another buddy read with my husband! We both agree that this was terrible *soulmates*. We give it a single star solely for the effort of writing 37 pages of words in a somewhat coherent fashion. My husband wanted to give it zero stars but I explained that that’s not possible on Goodreads, he wants it stated that he disagrees with this policy 🙄 . This will not be a dual review as the hubs refuses to write his own portion because this book “ruined snowmen for me forever”. So I have written one combined review based on my thoughts on the book and my interpretations of his facial reactions, exclamations and gagging noises while I read to him.
This book managed to be both disturbing and stupid at the same time. For a book called Taken by the Snowmen, there was not one snowman gang bang. Huge missed opportunity! If you are going to write something this disturbing you might as well go all out. As for the dick building, it was lacklustre. We hypothesized going in that the dicks would be either carrots or icicles but sadly they were just more snow. Overall this was underwhelming for this genre (what even is this genre?) with very boring yet gross sex scenes and one weird scene where they fed a pie to a yeti. No they did not have any sex with the yeti, she ate her pie and left. Also notable was one very objectionable anal scene where one snowman went ‘from stink to pink’ (my husband’s words, he made me include them) and had both of us cringing and my husband declaring *again* that he was never going to do this again. Don’t worry all, I’ve already picked out a Groundhog Day read. 😈
So in conclusion, don’t bother with this one, there is nothing interesting here.

"Do you want to f*ck a snowmaaaaaaaan?"
Don't mind me singing that literally the whole time while trying to read TAKEN BY THE SNOWMEN. It was inevitable. Okay. Well, I wanted to really love this one. I've seen so many stories about Krampus, Santa, Grinch, elves, and more. I had not come across (bad choice of words maybe) monster erotica with snowmen before! Some parts were pretty cool and interesting (like the snowmen have retractable genitalia... who knew?!) which is why we never see any. But 80% of this story was about the main protagonist like... feeding an angry female yeti some pie? Frosty did NOT melt so this would be the sexual legacy left behind. But I still give major kudos for the originality of this story and how everything came to be with our main character being a witch and making a potion for the perfect man! 2.5 stars and would recommend for snowmen fun!

I was anticipating more of an erotica vibe for this one, but it certainly leaned more towards romance. I would have like a somewhat more give and take relationship, but they had a decent HFN and signs of that improving in the future.

This is a very unique fun why choose. Our girl Liz is a witch who tried to spell up HER perfect man. She gets perfection but instead of man, wizard, or shifter she gets three snowmen who want nothing more than to please her.
This was a quick cute short story. I kept thinking of Michael Keaton in the Jack Frost movie. If you know what I'm talking about, then you can get on board with a snow daddy lover.

I think this book should be included in school’s summer reading lists. Everyone should experience the art that is this novel. Nay, this epic. This book altered the trajectory of my life for the better. God bless the author for writing something I will NEVER forget.

First off, this was VERY unsettling for me to read because the main character’s name was Liz. What a surreal experience, friends; I HATED IT!
So, our girl Liz *shudders* is a witch looking for the perfect man—who isn’t? She doesn’t care if he’s a human, demon, mage, whatever, she just wants a dude with a good 🍌 who can fck her into next year🥵 She makes a potion, gets frustrated, pours it out outside in the snow, and then takes a nap. When she wakes up, she finds not one but THREE snowmen in her house, ready to take care of her and make sure all her needs and desires are fulfilled😏
Snowmen. Like, made of giant rolled up snowballs, stick hands, beady black eyes, etc. They aren’t like abominable snowmen; they look like they were made by children on a lovely Sunday morning. The only difference is they can talk and fck😘
There’s Isaac who can cook, Felix who loves to clean, and Kell who is the bad boy of the group and is ALWAYS horny. They’re siblings who were created to “fulfill all her needs.”
I couldn’t get past the fact that they had STICKS FOR HANDS/FINGERS and USED THEM FOR SEXY TIMES. Sticks, up THERE! No no no no, no thank you 🙅♀️🚫 That, paired with the fact that their 🍆 were basically icicles, made me want to throw this book across the room, but I couldn’t because I was reading on my Kindle app on my phone.
I did however laugh out loud when one of them asks Liz “Do you want to fuck a snowman?” 💀⚰ At least there was some comic relief.
While the sex melts them, so does time, because snow doesn’t last forever. But Liz is IN LOVE💕 so she casts another spell so the four of them can live happily ever-after. She ends up with not one but three perfect partners whose icy-cool touches can cool her down every single night.
This story was filthy, but at least there was no yellow snow☃️

This story is absolutely outrageous. Which is exactly what I expected.
Basically, the heroine is a witch who does a spell to find the perfect man. She pours the potion that didn’t work into the snow and the next morning there is a sentient snowman cooking in her kitchen. And he has two snowmen friends.
They basically have icicles for eggplants and their ‘snowballs’ are like cold stress balls. Yeah, it’s wild. Also, there’s a freaking yeti.
Honestly, I was expecting more smut. It existed, but it was almost the same with all three of the snowmen. And there was never any ‘let’s all have fun together’ action. Which was disappointing. I was expecting outrageous to translate into the smut too, but I don’t feel that it did.

This book wasn’t so much my personal cup of tea. However, the creativity in it is absolutely awesome. Just like that one donut shifter book, a snowman RH is something I never even considered before I heard of this one. It has great potential to be an awesome book and at only 37 pages is an amazingly quick read.
This book’s comedy factor is high and it WILL entertain, even if you aren’t into ice play… but if you are, this book is DEFINITELY for you!

What the he** did I just read? I saw a review of this book on TikTok and damn my curiosity. This was such a weird read. It’s a witch and 3 snow men. Like actual snowmen rolled up outside with sticks for hands and black eyes and icicle 🍆 complete with snow- balls. She somehow falls madly in love with all three snowmen after one day and performs more magic so they never melt. The story felt rushed, and honestly the spice was just creepy. It felt like the author was trying to make it not creepy by saying things like the stick hands felt like skin and their snow wasn’t cold?! I wouldn’t recommend even to satiate your curiosity.

Points for uniqueness … I wasn’t sure what I was expecting, as I clicked on it after reading another short story by Maggie Alabaster, but if you have an open mind and are in the mood for something different, then I can recommend this story.
A couple of potential trigger / offensive warnings. There is some adult language, as well as several intimate scenes between MF, as well as an encounter with a mystical creature.

Would I have summoned snowmen if I hadn't tipped it into the snow? I didn't think so. Thank the gods I hadn't dumped it down the toilet. I hate to think what kind of shit that would have gotten me into.
The Good:

- Feels like a crackhead dream come to life. I never questioned WHAT this book was

- I get what the book was trying to do but I didn't like it....

- Why were they not more humanoid? I could not get into this at all

This book was way out of my element of reading material. I hardly read romance unless it’s Christian historical romance. This is clearly not, it’s fantasy romance. But it was Hilarious and a little spicy. Lol
I especially laughed at the Frozen like quote, “Do you wanna F*ck a snowman”.

What an absolute wild ride… I did a review for this one on my booktok and everyone agreed, ALL of that happened in 37 pages???
The cheesy cute lines, the icicle c*, the glittery snowman juice special, the weird protectiveness when the she-yeti came, and the sudden weight loss at the end of the book…
I was picturing the snowmen as the snowman from Jack Frost the entire time. The spot where she dumped the potion outside eventually turning into snowmen was giving Shrek 2. Slight twilight vibes.

Listen.... I didn't go into this book looking for a literary masterpiece or my next favorite. I saw someone talking about it on TikTok and I decided I needed a fun read to boost my spirit. This definitely did that.
Shout out to my poor roommate who received all the messages of me laughing and telling her about proper sexual health and practices.
Requires some suspension of disbelief. (by some I mean a lot)
