❄️❄️Este es un romance de navidad HM/MJ. Una lectura súper rápida pero no me pasó nada de NADA con este librito, ni siquiera sé qué comentar porque realmente no me gustó nada de lo que leí.

Para mí principalmente fue extraño la diferencia de edad que era MUY grande, él tiene 51 años y ella 20. No pasa nada con una brecha de 10 o poco más pero 30 años? No lo pude imaginar, ni mucho menos decir que estos dos se enamoraron el día de navidad porque fue un instaTodo que me dejó pensando 'qué acaba de pasar aquí'?

No había ni un poco de profundidad para conocer a los protagonistas y creer que de la nada se estaban diciendo Te amo y comprometiéndose.

Fue raro que no hubo conflictos, alguna dificultad para mover el tema que se planteaba sobre ellos estando juntos, el amor prohibido, pero fue todo fue sin problemas.

Entonces quedé con una lectura ligera, de diferencias de edades, en un día de fiestas, con un HEA y epílogo a 10 años... Aburrida!

Espero que el de Frankie Love este mejor.

Mandy has been in love with her best friend's uncle for years. This Christmas she hopes he will finally notice her. So steamy and so hot! Ethan is a super sexy alpha male I could see why Mandy fell in love with him. Adorable epilogue with their 4 kids!

Just a head’s up the age gap is 30 years which I know it might bother some people. Virgin heroine, no info about hero except that he is a loner for years.

This one idk i had trouble with it.. idk if its because I'm under the weather?? So I won't say this is the finale rating. 

Mandy has been pinning after her bffs uncle since she was 13 years old. So she plans to show him she isn't a little girl anymore shes a grown woman. There meeting was alittle awkward because she was nervous but Ethan didn't care he was already wanting her they try to sneak in some moments during the party but they kept on getting other peoples in their moments.

They don't get a moment until the party is over as they get steamy in the house and move forward with their future. 

No ow/om drama, no cheating, Slight secondary charas, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Well, I guess I have to say, this one wasn’t for me. Boo. I do enjoy age gap romance, but sadly, I just wasn’t feeling this one. It was a quick read set around Christmas time, which is what I wanted, but the 30-year age difference had a lot to do with me not enjoying it. Hero is 51 and the heroine is 21. Also, unfortunately, the writing style isn’t for me.

There are plenty of readers who did love this one, so I’m sure it’ll work for others.

Mandy has had a crush on her best friend’s uncle, Ethan, since she was 8 years old. Now 21, she is back from college for Christmas break attending a Christmas party at her best friend’s house where she is hoping to see Ethan again and finally make him see her as an adult. Which she does, in spectacular fashion. Like all classic OTT heroes, as soon as Ethan lays eyes on Mandy, he is immediately obsessed with her and his long dormant libido ignites. There’s no mention of when the last time the two have seen each other, but I am EXTREMELY glad that although Ethan has known Mandy since she was a child, this is the first time that he experiences any attraction to her.

The bulk of the story takes place during the party where they have several illicit and heated sexy times while dodging all the guests (and in particular Ethan’s brother). There is a forbidden aspect to their relationship due to the age gap and the nature of the relationship, but none of it is addressed during the body of the story. There’s no confrontation or conflict, which makes it a really low angst read, but makes me wonder why have the hero and heroine have that pre-existing connection if it is not going to be explored. Granted, it made the scenes in the best friend’s bedroom and the garage more titillating, but I really wish the book was longer so that it could have been explored more in depth.

There is an epilogue 10 years out which kind of recaps what happened after they declare their love for each other and determination to stay together despite Mandy needing to go back to college after the break. It was a nice wrap up. I will be honest and say that although I don’t mind age gaps, I do feel uncomfortable with this much of an age gap. If you don’t have issues with it, and are looking for a light, low angst read, this could be a nice way to spend an hour or two.

Until this Christmas, Mandy is now an adult and is going to get Ethan to notice her. She dresses in a beautiful slinky red dress, Ethan definitely notices, he’s surprised how beautiful his niece’s best friend has become. He is instantly attracted to her and knows that she’s his one. They try to share some sexy times at the party but keep getting interrupted by family and party goers. They do enjoy giving each other oral in a car in the garage, but before anything more can happen they are again interrupted. When the party ends, Mandy takes her drunk parents home and thinks she may have been a one time thing for Ethan. He shows up at her window and takes her home. There they have their first time, Mandy is a virgin and Ethan has been celibate for years. The next morning Ethan proposes and epilogue has them with four kids and still celebrating Christmas in a big way.

I enjoyed this quick but very sexy story. It's the kind I've come to expect from Olivia T. Turner! And it's even better because I really have starting enjoying age gap romance and this certainly has that. Ethan is a dream man and Mandy is lucky enough to snag him!! The Christmas party scene with her parents being drunk was really funny. Just a heartfelt story about Christmas wishes coming true!

Bells Jingled

Even though Ethan Hearst is about three decades Mandy's senior, I think this over-the-top novelette works for them. It's all kinds of naughty. 😉🔥💦

HERO - Ethan Hearst. Owns three radio stations. Tall with a wide frame and big muscular arms. Intricate tattoos on his chest, shoulders, and neck. Medium-length salt & pepper hair and stubble. Brown eyes with soft lines on the sides.

HEROINE - Mandy. Economics major in college and coffee shop worker. Brown hair and blue eyes. Defined cheekbones and slightly upturned nose.

OVERALL THOUGHTS - This is one of my favorite OTT books yet! I had a smile on my face the whole way through thanks to the humor that’s injected into every chapter. The majority of the romance takes place over one night, but it’s been many years in the making. I loved the Christmas party filled with family, friends, and neighbors. This was just a really great Christmas read and I highly recommend it.

The basic premise is that Mandy’s been in love with her BFF’s Uncle Ethan since she was eight. 13 years later and her crush has never waivered, only growing stronger with time. When the story opens, she hasn’t seen him in three years and considers this Christmas Eve party to be her chance to get him to see that she’s an adult now.

Just a head’s up, the age gap is 30 years which I know might make some people uncomfortable. But while Ethan’s known Mandy most of her life, he’s never viewed her as anything other than his niece’s friend until this story when she’s already well into adulthood, so no worries there.

I did have some minor questions by the end. Mandy appears to have been the only one in her high school friend group who opted to go to college, which is fine, but I wondered what the story was behind that. The fact that most of her friends seem to already be married with children by their very early 20’s was a little unusual, but no comment was made about it. I also wondered why Mandy hadn’t seen Ethan in three years if the Christmas Eve party is an annual thing. I don’t recall either saying they’d skipped the last three so that ended up feeling like a plot hole. Or maybe I just missed them mentioning it.

That said, not having the answers to those questions didn’t really affect my overall enjoyment of the story. This is ultimately a great book to read if you want to get into the holiday spirit.

Mandy having been bestfriends with Christine most of her life had the pleasure of meeting and promptly falling in love with Ethan, Christine's uncle.
This year Mandy is going all out to be noticed by him as more than his nieces cute friend.
With the party in full swing Mandy watches the door for Ethan.
The two finally speak but it's for the birds. Mandy can't seem to calm her nerves around Ethan. Then the carrot incident. The almost kiss in the bathroom. Long lingering looks, a trip out to the garage shows promise.
More interruptions. A cousin coming out to stuff his face.
The men sneaking out to smoke cigares.
Mandy's parents have had to much to drink and are ready to go and Mandy is their ride. She and Ethan have not made any future plans or exchanged numbers!!!
Leaving broke her heart, made her cry, had her not believing in miracles and happily ever afters. In two weeks she'll be back at college, I guess it is time to move on, tap tap....

Loved this

Brilliant first book of the series. Mandy has been in love with Ethan her best friends uncle since she was eight now is her time to show him she is all grown up.
Ethan can’t believe how Mandy has grown up and wow what a stunner she is. His eyes follow her around the room after they got close up when he was dealing with her sliced finger he needs to make her his but every time they are alone someone walks in on them.
Mandy leaves the party with her drunk parents and drives them home she thought Ethan would come out and see her before she had to leave but no sign of him. Once she is home and in bed she lets her tears fall thinking this is the end only for Ethan to knock on her bedroom he is going to make her Christmas dreams come true and make her his.
Waking up with Mandy on Christmas morning he wonders why has it took him so long to see her but from here on in she will always wake up next to him.

I kind of loved this story. It was an entertaining and enjoyable holiday love story. The characters were interesting and relatable. Christine was an amazingly wonderful friend to Mandy and an awesome and sweet niece to Ethan. Mandy really impressed me with her dedication to Ethan over the years. Given their age difference I’m glad that Ethan didn’t notice her until the Christmas Eve party. It’s terrific that he was all-in after “meeting” Mandy at the party and seeing her as an adult instead of his niece’s little friend. Mandy had to be totally overwhelmed when Ethan told her that he was interested in her as well. I loved Mandy and Ethan’s happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

A sweet much older man / younger women lover story that begins for Mandy at the age of 8. She has loved he best friends uncle since then and has pined after him for over ten years. Ethen never really noticed Mandy due to her being so young and his nieces best friend but when Amanda decides to go for it and make him take notice of her... boy does he ever... it’s full steam ahead after that!

Loved it

Uncle Ethan turned out to be a jealous and possessive man. But what I liked most about him is when he said this:
