Sin Demons #4

To Hell and Back

Rate this book
They were trying to get back to Hell... But Hell showed up at our door.

None of us expected a visit from the devil himself, but after Lucifer comes a-knocking, we know things are about to heat up fast.

According to the demons, the only way to protect me is to bind us all together. Forever. Something I’m not sure I’m even willing to do. But with Greed’s ring still on my finger and Lucifer’s sights set on making me his next play thing, what other choice do I have?

When I’m dragged to Hell against my will, I’m determined to find a way topside again. But the darkness within me is enjoying this deadly vacation a little too much, and my powers only seem to grow the longer I stay.

My demons will risk it all to save me from eternal damnation.

But after going to Hell and back, will I still be the same in the end?

The title is literal. At least for Aria.

Maverick is more heavily involved in this, and we got a deeper insight to his relationship with his father, which I liked.

The guys are still growing closer to Aria, and I like the fact that it is still a progress in the making, because despite being the fourth book, a lot of time hasn’t passed since the first, and it would have felt rushed otherwise.

The relationship between Aria and Sayah is even more complicated now than in the previous books. Personally I love how this problem has been added to the story. Back in the first book, Aria and her shadow seemed to be a team of sorts, and we have been present for the entire process of her becoming a “maybe” enemy.
I will admit I am confused as to her true motives though. She seems to want to take Aria over. But she also protects and helps her a lot of the time. And she has helped her her entire life. I am wondering if it was all self serving to keep herself safe, or if she actually cares about Aria.

One thing I did not like in the book is how Maverick struck Aria. Like, physically hit her. Mostly because they have a connection, that will likely lead to more going forwards.

I was so happy when they finally decided to do the ritual to bind Aria to them. And to see the growth in Cain’s character when he said they would cut all ties to her and do their best to never see her again when everything is done, if that is truly what she wants. It is so far away from the guy who couldn’t stop talking about the contract over her soul.
And when he said he loved her, I melted!!!

Aria thought her life was rough before but she just didn’t know. Lucifer has his sights set on her and things are only going to get even crazier.
This series has never failed to keep you on your toes and consistently throw twists and turns our way.
The guys are hotter than ever and willing to do so much for Aria. Absolutely ADORE this story!

Bloody hell!! Quite Literally!!
Aria (FMC) finds herself right im the middle of a power struggle with Lucifer having his eyes set on her. The plot twists in this book were outstanding. Cain, Elias and Dorian have their own troubles back home. Whilst Maverick is a dark horse. He and Aria try to work out their dynamic while she is under his protection. Sayah makes more of an appearance in this book. To Hell and Back is certainly a hold on to your hat kinda read. It grips you throughout and my god that ending was killer!! This series just keeps getting better and better. Im loving reading it so much

I've loved this series from the start, Aria was given up in place of money that was owed to literal demons. But things happen, and she starts falling for the guys and they fall for her in return. But in book three one of Cain's brothers, Maverick has tricked her and now she isn't sure what to do. With Lucifer paying them a visit it all goes to Hell...literally. Aria has so much information dropped into her lap and of course, she struggles with these things like anyone would. Things are changing for Aria, and I'm totally here for it.

I was absolutely hooked from page one and I just kept reading until I got to the end. Each page is action-packed and is excellently written. And that cliffhanger is killer. I can't wait for book five!

This is my favorite of the series so far!!!!! Action, secrets, romance, steammmminess! This book is what I wanted more of from books 1-3.

Aria awakes in hell and soon secrets are unleashed. And the ring maverick gave her to keep Sayah….yeah not really working anymore. When Maverick develops a conscious and starts to fall for Aria, he realizes the best and safest thing for her is back on earth.

Returning to Earth, the guys are all 10x more territorial than before. Now with hell hounds on the hunt and a new Vampire gang terrorizing the city, Aria just wants to be safe.

Performing a bond ritual seems like the perfect answer. Until it isn’t…

I really loved this book! It was fast paced, steamy and I didn’t want it to end! I hope the series continues like this book! I also hope we add a 4th to her little harem! I’ve definitely feelin me some Maverick! lol

*Overall 5/5
*Heat 5/5
*Fast Burn
*Multiple first person POV
*Ends on cliffhanger

Things are changing... for the worst for Aria. She has Maverick's ring still on her finger, and she cannot figure out what he and Lucifer want. Moreover, Sayah is acting weird. When Aria finds herself suddenly in hell, she needs to figure out a way to stop all the chaos going on around her. Thankfully she has Elias, Dorian and Cain who are willing to lay their lives down for her. The book ends with a cliffhanger, and I'm ready to one-click the next book. I need to know what Sayah is and Maverick's plan.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Book 4 and it’s a doozy! Aria is back and wow everything just seems to take off! It’s intense and dramatic , it’s full of mystery and suspense and so much tension and the steam is way way off the charts. There’s lots going on and once you pick this up you will find yourself drawn in and unable to leave. A great addition to this series.

This is another fab installment to the series and it continues to consume me ;) Action, danger, wit and sizzling romance really just pulled me along, only to drop kick me into a wicked cliff hanger ending ;) Now I'm beyond anxious for the next book. Good fun!

Welcome to Hell

To Hell and Back is the fourth book in the Sin Demons series and it was a doozy. Things are a hot mess, Maverick has kidnapped Aria, the guys are frantic, Lucifer is completely insane and extremely deadly, and they still have to find the artifacts, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Aria for all her bravery and spunk is in over her head. She's in Hell with Lucifer who is so far into the crazy that a psychopath seems like a normal adorable puppy. However, She's staying strong, not letting her captors get to her, giving all the sass. However, there are unexpected side-effects to being in Hell that she didn't predict. Maverick is getting underneath her skin and Sayah feels different and it's very unnerving.

The guys have lost it. They are devastated over Aria's kidnapping, there are some very deep emotions going on. It's easy to tell now how much they love Aria. They are all stressed out, Cain is livid, Dorian feels guilty, and Elias while angry also might be a little heartbroken. But they are determined to get to Aria they just hope it's not too late.

In this story, readers got a glimpse of Hell and what Lucifer is like as a ruler. I always find it interesting when this scenario is depicted in books because things always vary. In this Hell is a city that works much like a human one with varying creatures but it is a hellish landscape and there are darker parts. There was a ton of new information about Lucifer, the princes, and even things about Aria are answered. However, a new mystery arrives when Cain, Dorian, and Elias have to deal with trouble in Glenside.

To Hell and Back was an exciting read that answered some questions but left plenty more. The story ends on the cliffhanger readers have been prepared for because it was bound to happen. There are so many dangers that lay ahead and things just got a whole lot worse.

I feel like a lot of series with this premise dont understand that coercion is rape as is blackmail etc.
I hate that i tolerated the bs of this series for so long and worse i left it on my shelf for longer hoping id pick it up again but nope.
The chicks a dumb hoe. Who worse is stubborn and high horse morals and nonsense even though shes the one who fucking gets herself and others into bs situations and then bemoans the fact shes in fact in them and worse constantly surprised that people take advantage or continue to not be all saintly people. Like grow up you daft bitch god honestly too stupid to live. And worse these sorts show no apparent reason for why anyone let alone immortal dangerous etc men would be remotely interested let alone respect her dumb arse and yet magically they all seem to have everyone charmed. Like good gods YAK. Whatever i hate her the most but like so many things about the series are fucked.
So many.
And what i can remember i dont want to.
Genuinely lose faith in humanity when real life females write fictional females so fkn badly. Like jesus i sadly expect this bs with dudes but christ youd think actual women could write a decent female character and not have most people seem like teenagers not the good kind either the stereotypical cw drama bullshit kind that give actual dumb teens a bad name. Its like the bitches who die their hair peroxide blonde and play up the dumb bimbo trope much to the chagrin of actual fucking blondes who arent. Like way to screw over your own sex ladies really take womens rights back 100 years or so why dont you.

To Hell and Back is book four in the Sin Demons series. Aria and her demons come home to a major surprise...the King of Hell is there...for a "visit" or more like...to see what it is they have been hiding from him. It seems that things are about to get ramped up now that they know that Lucifer has his eyes on them, but...things kinda fizzle out until the end.
To Hell and Back is a bit slower-paced and things drift around with this book. I wasn't as engaged in this story as in the previous books. Aria is reunited with her friend...who just recently was being really vile, but it seems that her friend is in some trouble herself. I got annoyed with Aria pretty quickly because she really refused to see sense of how the guys were handling the situation, but things are about to get sticky for them when Aria is taken.
There are some surprises in this book and I have to say that they really pulled me back into the story. I was eager to find out where things were going. This book has some interesting elements to it and so I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
I'm choosing to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Things seem to just drift as I wait for all the dots to connect. It seems that there is more to come and that Aria is going to have her hands full in more ways than one.

What I love about these books is that they start right where the last book finished. It begins and you are right there with everyone, your heart in your throat, your stomach is threatening to fall out of your body. You are also reminded instantly, where the last book finished and you have no idea what's going to happen.

All I want is to adore her, save her, care for her, and I may have brought Hell down on her instead. Fuck!

I love how unpredictable this story is, nothing drags. Nothing is on repeat and it's so fast paced. I'm flying through these books.

It isn't long before Aria finds herself in Hell, brought there by the demon Maverick, Cain's brother and let me tell you I don't like him. I don't he ruined this book for me. I don't like him. Also Lucifer if a piece of work but a well done villain.

Or maybe real life isn't like some cheesy Hallmark movie?"

I am more in love with Cain, Dorian and Elias so so much! They are amazing and I want one of each for Halloween or something haha! There are so many twists and shocks in this book. I never see them coming and I'm living for it. I love the unexpected and I love it when something just gets thrown in my face and I don't know what to think.

ITS THE BEST! I can't wait for next books! Pre-ordered and waiting impatiently haha!

Fun but a bit slow

I liked this one, there wasn’t to much heavy stuff going on like the previous ones. Although, I think the events were important to build relationships with characters that only had a small spot lights in previous books. Mavericks honesty is coming through and the guys are finally starting to see that he’s not the sniveling coward they thought he was. Releasing Aria from her imprisonment in Hell, removing his ring that he tricked her into wearing, releasing Joseline from her contract. Actions speak louder than words in this series. I still don’t like how Aria was so wishy washy about the guys, feeling completely at home in their arms, being supported and cared for and the next, she’s second guessing all their gestures. I’m still confused on why she’s deathly afraid of Sayah, she’s don’t nothing but help them out of sticky situations. She’s afraid of not being in control but she won’t use or get to know her in a way she couldn’t before, now that she can talk somewhat. I hope that ritual worked, even though they were interrupted by Maverick. I felt for him there when he realized what they were doing. He likes her, and Aria has feelings for him too. It was all written so naturally, that it was easy to follow along. Was doing chores and had my ear buds in while my phone read out the chapters. Cant wait to read what’s next

There is always danger involved when Hell comes out to play, but with Lucifer himself involved, the stakes are even higher.
Aria has been kidnapped to Hell, learning some ominous facts about Sayah. Even though she has returned to Earth, something feels off, and the balance between her and her living shadow is shifting. Moreover, there is much more drama since Maverick entered the overall picture, and there is a shift in the power play in town too - with new vampires entering the town, ones that don't seem to respect the existing hierarchy. And that might be only the beginning of the problems.
There is a lot going on in this series, continuously developing new challenges, new issues, and trouble. Aria is in the center, with her monster shadow and (sometimes) difficult to handle men. At least she has Cassiel to lean on, though he does not seem to like the changes in her either. And Lucifer has not been defeated yet, so there is definitely some chaos brewing. I really enjoy every new book in the series and would welcome the next one too.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TO HELL & BACK"
WOW!!! What another exciting intense riviting adventure, full of action, intrigue, suspense, mystery, steam, twists that have you glued to your seat.
Aria as her hands full with Lucifer who's a bit crazy she meets him with Maverick he gets her to wear his ring she ends up in Hell & wants out.
Cain, Dorian, Elias & Aria can't figure out what Maverick & Lucifer want then there's Sayah she's an unknown but her demons will protect her at all cost she can't seem to get a break.
I definitely recommend the entire series but this book takes you on a crazy exciting adventure so much happens it has you turning the pages, then theres the mind-blowing cliffhanger.
I'm so looking forward to the next thrilling book #5 "WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER". EXCELLENT READ!!

Oh man! Poor Aria. She is going through alot in this book...Sayah is getting stronger...Lucifer Shows up, and she has Mavericks ring still stuck on her finger. Cain, Dorian and Elias are and will do anything to save, help and protect her and she has to decide how long she really wants to be tied to her demons. As you can tell by the cover she gets pulled into hell...and she meets another brother of Cain and Mavericks....he wants to punish her for not being afraid of him or bowing to his will...but Maverick stops him. And decided he has feelings for her so brings her back to Cain. And then takes the ring off of her. The Guys and Aria try to figure a way to keep Lucifer at bay...and come up with ideas 💡 😁🙈 and there is a CLIFF!! dang!! I CAN'T. WAIT. for the next book!! I is set up to be FAN FREAKING TASTIC!! 💜😍😊

This 4th book in the series doesn't stop. It is craziness from page one all the way to the final page. Poor thing, Aria, can't catch a break. Her friend betrays her, Mavericks ring is still on her finger, she meets Lucifer only to be drug to Hell, and Sayah seems to be getting stronger. After being drug to Hell, Aria finds out some information about where she came from and what Sayah is and it is absolutely terrifying. I love her dynamic with her guys and how they absolutely adore her and would do anything to keep her by their side. But what is this connection to Maverick that she has?? I'm all about adding him to their dynamic, especially how he is trying to prove himself at the end of the book. And of course there is the ending....WOW....is all I can say. Can't wait to read the next book!!

Weight of the World

Poor Aria! It seems she just can't catch a break. She doesn't even get time to fix one problem before more pile onto her shoulders and she's carrying the weight of the world. Book 4 of the series promises to be the steamiest one yet, with lots going on in between to make it a thrilling, non-stop adventure. As if it weren't already curious enough, the mystery around Sayah only thickens. It seems like there could be another man joining the ranks. And on top of everything that the demons are dealing with surrounding Aria and Lucifer, someone's trying to undermine them and take their town out from under them. With a heart pounding ending, I need the next one asap! 😍

This story was very intense. It was full of action. Filled with turns and twists. We gone from one unexpected situation to another. Maverick is detestable but attachable, in some ways. Lucifer is very dangerous and his plan for Aria quite nefarious, however we don’t know all details of it or the extend of everything that is going on. Sayah is becoming stronger and stronger, protection and danger all in one. Relation between Dorian, Elias , Cain and Aria is strengthening as well. I read this book out of breath, speeding through pages, adoring what I read. Every single word was at its right place. But as much as I loved it - I hated the cliffhanger. I’m so worried now… it will be looong waiting till the last part of this story.

I am a bit torn on how I feel about all the men/demons in Aria's life; we all know Lucifer is a hard pass but Maverick..... he is growing on me and possibly Aria. Now we just need Cain, Dorian and Elias to be more accepting of him. Yes I know we can't trust him but can't we throw him a bone and trust him a little?
On top of all of this we need to figure out who the heck Sayah is; she is someone old but is she out to harm Aria or help her? Or is it both? Can they coexist? And this cliffhanger is not helping to answer the question.
This is a great series; the more I read the more I enjoy it.

Cain, Dorian and Elias focus were to keep Aria safe but with Maverick and Lucifer’s machinations things were not working as desired. Aria was overwhelmed with Sayah, Maverick and Lucifer making her feel weaker and confused. Each time the mystery around Aria grows and darkness keeps rearing her ugly face. Not only her soul was at stake but what would happen to her demons? I like that we got Cain, Dorian, Elias and even Maverick’s POV. Very intriguing the twists in the story with the exciting encounters, enemies waiting to pounce them all, the suspense and how I was left expecting the worst. Exciting scenes, strong emotions, mystery, secrets, darkness, violence and heated passion.

This was phenomenal! Picked up from the moment the last book left off Lucifer is in the mansion. Now he knows about Aria it is only a matter of time before the proverbial hits the fan. Maverick features more in this and is becoming more of a main character, some more of Aria's past is revealed and Sayah is getting stronger and more powerful. Our 3 demons know that they need to find a way to protect Aria from both Lucifer and Sayah but with only one choice of action available and the dangers that come with it, is it the right thing to do? This book finished with a goosebump invoking cliffhanger and the next book can't come too soon for me!

I can’t get over how much this series has drawn me in. I don’t know exactly what it is but I love the characters and their dynamics. They are family but don’t always get along but it doesn’t destroy them. They have their flaws but they accept that about each other and work with it.

Plus let’s talk about Maverick?! Okay I was so on board with him being a great Villian and I myself was ready to hit him but then we get his backstory…?! Now I’m all… okay he needs to be held and loved too.

Great twists and plot points! I was sooo happy to get an arc and can not wait for more! This is one of those series that’s getting really good.

OMG what a fantastic continuation of this amazing series. Full of mystery, suspense, action, intrigue, and of course sizzling encounters that will leave you fanning yourself. Still I'm kinda perplex on not knowing what Sayah is or whether she friend or foe, and I loved the potential new ally that comes in towards the end, I definitely didn't see or expect that. Even though it does end on a helluva cliffhanger I'm still super excited to see what else is in store for this series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Damn what an ending and now we have to wait for the next book and boy is that going to be a torture is itself. The guys have fallen more for Aria but there’s also a twist, whilst Aria has been kidnapped an unusual thing happens with Maverick. There is lots going on in this book and I mean lots, a kidnapping, a vampire master going missing, vampires and drugs entering the territory, Joseline going missing from the guys but then leaving town, a ritual being performed, and thats just some of the chaos that’s happening. The book will hold you captive for the whole story, but now its just a waiting game for the next instalment.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

OMG this series just keeps getting better and better!! Created by two phenomenal authors you will not be able to put this down as you wonder what awesomeness is going to happen next. Aria is stuck in the middle of a power play and has no clue how to get out of it. Thankfully her guys are willing to stick by her but events still make things quite interesting as they try to figure things out. Makes for a fast paced read all the way to the cliff hanger that leaves you wanting more. I cannot wait to see what happens next. A total must read! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Much better than the last 3 books. I wish we had gotten to know more about Hell, and Aria should have told the guys about Maverick.
Still a fan of Dorian, but Caina and Elias are still pretty meh. Elias is still too stiff and on a hair trigger, especially with that dinner scene. Liking the story more now that we're getting somewhere, but it shouldn't take 4 books in out of a 6 book story to feel like we're finally progressing.
Again, the sex scenes are meh. I wish there was more love in those scenes, but it's nowhere to be found.
Not worth 4 stars just yet. Maybe in book 5 is where it'll earn it.
