Declutter Workbook: The Vital Role of Sleep to Declutter Your Mind

Rate this book
You’ll find your answer lies in sleep . . .
So, let’s move on from counting sheep!

If you’ve organized your life but something is holding you back, it could be time to declutter the most important sanctuary of all: your mind. As research shows, nothing plays a bigger role in our functionality than proper sleep . . . which has nothing to do with how many hours we spend (tossing and turning) in bed.

With respect to the game of life, we’re the players . . .  but our brains are the pivotal coaches. They call the shots and ultimately determine our emotional stability. When our headspace is cluttered with unhelpful thoughts, it can have a flow-on effect, decreasing our performance at work and with loved ones.

This volume of Luigi Harbin’s Declutter Workbook series will help you take back control your life . . . and sleep easy!

Inside you’ll learn:

Nine different methods for effortless sleep . . . How to avoid the stress and anxiety ruining your rest . . . How to compartmentalize like a pro . . . How to claim success by applying the law of attraction . . .

AND MUCH, MUCH MORE . . .

Don’t wait to experience quality sleep. You’ll be blown away by the manifold benefits of mental health and wellbeing. While a decluttered workspace and home are imperative, being at your very best requires getting proper rest!

Bizarre Sleep Book

I have suffered from insomnia all of my life, so I'm always drawn to books about sleep or insomnia when I see them at my favorite book review site. I'll admit when I first saw the title and subtitle that I did not see the connection between sleep and decluttering the mind. After having read through this very short book, I still don't see the connection. In fact, this book’s organization is very loose and disjointed. It contains a variety of sleep topics that mostly have nothing to do with each other. I received this in PDF form, and it is only 31 pages, yet there are eight chapters. I think chapter 1only had one 1 1/3 pages; that was on the physical, emotional, and mental benefits of sleep. A book like this should have an easy-to-follow organization. It should start off with background information and work toward the specifics. As you might imagine, this book has a chapter on some ways to improve your sleep patterns, but it immediately follows chapter 1. I think the chapter on the science of sleep and perhaps the one on the role of anxiety and stress on sleep should have preceded the “what to do about it” chapter. Some other chapter topics were just, frankly, bizarre, truly having nothing to do with sleep whatsoever. They just seemed to be chapters with buzzwords, like chapter 6 on the role of confidence in sleep and chapter 8 on using the law of attraction to sleep better. Seriously! This book certainly does have issues with grammar, punctuation, and usage. Some sentences had odd phrases and word choices. I suspect this was not written by a native English speaker, which, of course, is okay. But if a non-native English speaker writes a book for the English-speaking public, he should have it copyedited, or at least vetted, by a native English speaker.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Valuable information for an insomniac like me

I sleep 3 hours a night and have done so for the past 40 years. As I have aged sleeping such few hours has taken a toll on my wellbeing.
I found Harbins suggestions valuable and have put some into use. I hope that incorporating his techniques during the day and journaling at night night be a successful strategy for me.

Lovely and Wise

This is certainly not the only book written on this subject, but his particular way of sharing this information really speaks to me.
he talks of a number of aspects that affect our rest and peace of mind. Things that may not occur to us. Is very easy to understand. He approaches the subject simply but with wisdom, and for me, comfort. Thank you, Luigi. 🤗
