She told him goodbye six years ago, and she meant it.
Could someone please tell her heart that?
Ingrid had a plan that if she ever saw Tyson again—something she thought about way, way too often—she’d simply turn around and walk away. Smooth, sophisticated, polished.
He was the one who’d messed up, so she could add righteous to her list.
Yeah, that would feel good.
But then Ingrid never imagined meeting him at an isolated Alaskan resort, one she couldn’t escape from quite so easily. Or, that running away would mean giving up a shot at her dream job.
No, she would endure every uncomfortable and awkward situation with her ex so that she could have the satisfaction of winning the job for herself.
If only he’d stop looking at her in that way that makes her smooth, sophisticated, righteous knees go weak. And making her laugh, like he always did, which is totally not fair.
But that’s okay. She can resist him for four days. As long as the unpredictable Alaska weather holds, she’ll leave this island with her dignity intact, if not her heart.
A sweet romantic comedy set in Alaska, with snow, an isolated resort, a couple who messed it up the first time around, and, if they’re very lucky, a second chance at romance. Grab your copy today!

So cute and swooney! Amberlee caught my interest right away and had it until the very end. Loved every minute of these characters. It was a fun world and I loved getting lost in it for a few hours. Thanks for the fun read, Amberlee!
This book was fine. Not bad, not great. I never really felt like I got a good sense of place from this book I had a clear idea what the lodge was really like and although I didn’t hate him, Tyler was not my favorite character. I didn’t like how he called himself “Blue Eyes” And didn’t know any other terms of endearment except babe. It was still entertaining and had a cute little storyline.
If you want to know more of the backstory, read Family Dinners with the Billionaire then Camping with the Billionaire before you read this book. Yes, this book is a stand-alone, but some of the subtleties can be missed without knowing a bit more about the lead characters.
This is a fantastic story about Ingrid Chastain-Bolt's and Tyson Sydow's journey of reconciliation, and restoration trying to entertain a grieving family while simultaneously competing for the job for next summer's biologist during a brutal Alaskan freak snowstorm. Grizelda is a character you won't forget!
This was predictable and dragged a bit, but it was still cute and entertaining with the interactions between Ingrid and Tyson. The "rug rats" were a fun addition to the story as well. I really didn't get why two biologists would need to compete for a job at an Alaskan hunting/vacation lodge when all that seemed to be in their job description was cleaning, entertaining, and other traditional employee jobs that didn't seem very specific to biologists. There is a previous book relating to Ingrid's family, her dad and step-mom's relationship, which became obvious to me that I was missing out on some details there at the end of the book, though none of them really came into play in the majority of the story. A fun addition to the multi-author "snowed in" series. Overall, pretty basic but still a light, enjoyable read.
Content: Clean; maybe some triggers with one scene with grizzly bears, big dogs, and a gun, but nothing major in my opinion.
Cute second chance romance. I thought Tyson was especially adorable even if he did need to work through his father issues. He was so fun with those kids. And I thought it was great that he and Ingrid were willing to give whatever they had to help others. The story has a few flashbacks that tell us what happened to their first chance at love. It seemed like it took a long time to get to the point on that one. But the main story moves along at a steady pace. Enjoyable read that I stayed up way too late to finish.
No sex, language or violence *I received a complimentary copy through a giveaway and voluntarily chose to review it.
I enjoyed reading this story about Ingrid (whom readers may remember from reading the Billionaire Bachelor Cove series) and Tyler, two people who met one summer while serving as camp counselors, fell in love, and then broke up. Their second chance story of meeting six years later in Alaska was so sweet. The author did a great job of helping the reader to feel how they had never stopped loving one another. It was also a caution to parents and caregivers that their words to their children carry great power. I loved the story and highly recommend it!
Cute story with lots of action and drama. A second chance for Tyson and Ingrid is in the making, if their characters can grow, which they do. The plot has some unexpected twists and turns making their relationship shaky, but an HEA is bound to happen for a love that has lasted years. You won't regret this one in your Kindle library.
Cute and cosy Christmas book set in a remote cabin /lodge in Alaska. Just what I was looking for. It gives you that homely vibe as we follow Ingrid and Tyler's story. Having not seen each other for six years they find themselves both going for the same job and in close proximity at the Alaskan lodge. Where they are hired to help for a wealthy man's funeral and his dysfunctional hostile family to arrive. Ingrid and Tyler must work together to make it a smooth funeral and keep the children entertained. Then a storm kicks off and they face being in the lodge for longer than expected. Adorable story and a rekindling of old love, with some snippets to the past to understand why they fell out in the first place. Ingrid is amazing, I really liked her from the off. No mistaking she is a smart biologist, funny, witty and over all charming. Tyler it took me a while to warm up to but in the end I absolutely adored him too. He calls himself Blue Eyes which I thought was kind of cute, even though having read some reviews it irked people. But for me, it was part of his appeal. And he does have blue eyes, so, why not, right? My first book by Amberlee and to be honest, I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a book to snuggle up with over the holidays, a cup of cocoa and a warm soft blanket. This gives you all the right vibes and will have you wanting to hug yourself. Loved it. Thank you to Amberlee Day for writing this beautiful snuggly book. Kerry Kennedy Author
*2.5 stars if I could give half stars - exactly average* Cute lil cringy rom-com (light on the “com”) easy read with a classic “snowed in” Christmas plot. Not great, but a good filler book for winter in between heavier reads.
**SPOILERS** The ending tried to be deeper than it was… we knew from page 10 that Tyson self-sabotaged for no good reason; it wasn’t some revelation. The class difference between the lovers was somehow both too overstated and not flushed out enough to be relevant to the progress or the plot. I also hate when it’s the healthy, well-adjusted woman’s responsibility to push past an immature boy’s emotional constipation to make them both happy. All the other female characters furrowing their brow at Ingrid for not “trying harder” to save her and Tyson’s relationship pissed me off.
This story is super cute. I just don't give it 5 stars because I missed some more background story on Tyson. His complexes based on a couple of short memories of things his father had said once upon a time were just too vague, not enough and also paradoxal considering his charming and easy going personality. It really felt like he was pushing Ingrid away for no reason at all! But all is well when it ends well. I loved the epilogue. Overall it is a nice and fast read.
This is my first book by author Amberlee Day, but it won't be my last!! I enjoyed the character's, the author's writing style and the overall vibe of the book. The feeling of the holidays and the author's holiday spirit. A good read and one that I recommend to everyone looking for a winter/christmas/feel good story.
I loved every single book in the series. Very well written and I loved the characters too. I wish the last book showed her telling Tyson about the baby.
Nothing exciting really happens. Could not really connect with the characters. It was a sweet wholesome story though. Most exciting thing was baby bears.
