Amnesia is one of my fave plots and this one started off good but the further I went, I found it more messed up and unbelievable. First of all, after Ash found that Such a big brother to have. Second, why this high school didn’t have a principal! With all the bullying around I expected to hear his/her name at least once or twice! But nope not happening. Third, after what Ash did to Gracie, after all the bullying, she accepted him immediately and loved him as fiercely as before! WTH girl!!! She didn’t say anything to him, not even asking for a reason, he also didn’t say sorry for all the things he put her through! Seriously!!!! Fourth, how come the doctors at the hospital
Told in multiple POV, both in 1st and 3rd person, it’s the first installment in the "Forbidden Truths". There are soo many flashbacks, it’s dark-themed, angsty, and an enemies-to-lovers story. All in all, it didn’t live up to my expectations but let’s hope you enjoy it more than me!

Most definitely a bully romance, strong enemies to lovers theme, which I liked, and remained intriguing until the hero comes to realization of what happened with the heroine. And as with most bully romances, he realizes he has feeling for her. Unfortunately, after all the orchestrated bullying, some of which was very demeaning (not that I have issue with that, just an observation), the story starts to stall. The bad girls who have it out for the heroine are so (I could not suspend disbelief) evil that I could not realistically fathom how they would have gotten away with what they did. Or at least not get their a$$es kicked.
Some good steam in the story, but a bit of faltering in the storyline after the hero and heroine finally come together. I am still intrigued about this couple and an unknown stalker to continue to book 2. Overall, this story held by interest, and kudos to this new author for her first published work.

I don’t want to be this person...
I’m sorry but there’s just something about this book that keeps me from liking it. The writing seemed very cheesy to me. It was lacking any real depth. Sure it was a bully romance, but it was just unrealistically mean. I’ve read so many bully romances that had purpose and this just fell short. There are some triggers here for people that have them, but they were very mild in my opinion.

This first book of a new duet tells the origin story of Grace and Ash. It has some bullying, will break your heart, will absolutely piss you off, not to mention have you ready to literally murder one of the characters. And then leave you begging for book two.
I fell in love with this story. Grace has had a rough go of it lately. Ash is heartbroken. These two have to find their way back to each other. And what a ride it is. So worth it though.
Love this story! Definitely recommend it a d cannot wait for book two!

This is a brilliant debut read. I ended up reading this in one sitting as I didn’t want to put it down.
The two main characters Ashton and Gracie are very likeable. They pulled me through so many emotions with their story. I’m waiting rather impatiently for book two.
This is a well written debut and I can’t wait to read plenty more from this author.

This book was an amazing read by first time author Amber Nicole. It was a rollercoaster from start to finish with twists and turns that I did not see coming. I can’t wait to see how the author concluded this duo.

I ate this book up completely!! I know this is a re-write and I will admit, that the original version intrigues me too, but this book just sucks you in and makes you want to play detective and try and piece everything together yourself. I can't wait to see what happens and how everything will end.

I gave this book five stars even though I was a little disappointed by the grammar. There were a few parts were there was need of a period or something to that effect and I was just a little hung up on that but the story is solid. There's a lot going on. And it was sad. Can't wait for the next book.

this was a cute beautiful story about gracie and ashton even though it was a little hard to get through in the beginning i’m glad i stuck through until the end. it was a good read, kinda cringey but sometimes in a cute way you know? overall it was good

I love getting my heart crushed by high angst books, and this book delivered the sweetest of pains. I devoured it, staying up way too late trying to finish. I kept chasing that bit of hope that one of the MMCs would recover his senses but reveled in every bite of pain when he didn’t.
It's been over a week, and I still have very strong feelings about his behavior, to the point that I don’t believe he deserves the FMC. Her HEA shouldn’t include him. That’s how you know it’s a good story - when you are so completely invested in the characters that you take offense to their actions and cannot let things go.
The other MMCs, they make up for his misbehaviors, even if they stumbled in the beginning. They are the supportive men a FMC deserves. Especially one suffering from amnesia. Their willingness to share her affections gives them a pass even if they are keeping secrets to protect her.
It’s a medium-burn, steamy romance. The scenes vary from MF to MFM+ with increasing temperature levels.
We won’t talk about that cliffhanger. It hurts still. I cannot wait for the second part of the duet.

Ok so this book captured me right from page one. I couldn’t put it down I needed like NEEDED to know what happen to Gracie and why.
The emotions this book took me on I laughed and I cried and I felt the emotions the author wanted us to feel.
This book is so amazing I can’t wait to start book 2.
Also Ash is 🔥 I won’t say to much as I don’t want to give spoilers but this book was everything I thought it would be.

This book was amazing! Amber really knows how to keep you engaged and on your toes. The characters are well-rounded and relatable, making you laugh and cry with them. I could not put this book down! A must-read in my collection.

Great First Book
Amber did a wonderful job with story. Characters were well developed and you could feel there pain and their love. Ashton does grow from the beginning of the book through the end. The plot was good with a few twists and turn that kept you reading, though it was a little slow in some places. The flashbacks were what flowed the most where things were happening thought dialog and action not just someone stating this happened and then that happened. What all this being said It was not my thing because I couldn't appreciate the fact the the MMC was part of the bullying of the FMC at first even though he was broken. I do appreciate the book as well done though and will read book 2

Woah.
This book drew me right into the crazy. I wasn’t ready for the darkness, and what grief and revenge can do when you don’t have all of the facts. Ash and Grace went thru a lot of sadness, fear, trauma, and misunderstanding. I’m pushing for them and totally ship them...but feel like this is happy for now...because there are still unexplained holes in their story that I think will be addressed in the next book. This was soo good. Definitely worth reading this new reader !

Fallen Memories has my attention
First book to be read by the author Amber Nicole. I was very impressed with the storyline and the writing. It kept me intrigued the whole time. I loved guessing who did what. And that ending!! I can't wait. I just hope Dom and Hope get a story

Alpha hole turnaround to HEA
Loved this book. High school bully isn't often my cup of tea but I really enjoyed this one. The drama and intrigue were on point and the bullying was harsh but our hero comes through. I liked that the fmc isn't some hard nose witch but struggles under the weight of the bullying and family dynamics that are dysfunctional. And we get a happy ever after. Excellent debut novel. Can't wait to read the second part.

I am convinced high school bully romance books go for broke when it comes to messed up acts. >insert Carrie reenactment< 🤫 I love it! If you love high drama, unreasonable teenage conclusions, tons of angst, and an OH SNAP 😱 revelation, then this is the story for you. I don't know of many books where we get a HEA and a cliffhanger, but the crazy adventure is well worth the read and I do mean crazy! ❤❤❤❤❤

This was such a great book and a quick read. Ash and Gracie are the best couple. They went through hell to be together. The book begins with Gracie just having woke up from a coma after Mia tried to kill her by pushing off a cliff which took Mia as well. When she returns to school Ash Ma’s brother and his group of friends make her life a living hell as they think she killed Mi. Grayson her brother keeps telling her that the nightmares she is having are not real, but in actuality they are her memories coming back. Ash finally backs off and realizes he still loves her They rekindle their relationship but keep it a secret. Bianca and her little mean girls group continue to give her crap. When Gracie finds out she’s pregnant before she gets a chance to tell Ash Bianca and her mean girl group pushes her down the stairs and kick her so she will lose the baby. Bianca is just delusional and thinks her and Ash belong together. Gracie does have a friend in Hope. Once she wakes up from her second coma she has all her memories and tells everyone what really happened the night she almost died. Once that is behind them they plan their wedding and Ash leaves for the Air Force. When he comes home they get married. Gracie sees Grayson before she leaves for Vegas to begin her life but she is just not ready to have a relationship with him at this point. I would definitely recommend this book.

Let me first off say wow Amber you’re one talent super women, I was honoured to Beta for this book!
Amber you blew me away with your ideas and watching you bring Gracie and Ashtons story to life..
This book gave me all the feels from laughing, crying and screaming WTAF! I seriously did not see where you were taking us, you guys are in for one hell of a ride!
I love the growth of both the FMC Gracie and the MC Ashton. Poor Gracie my heart broke for her so many times throughout this book, she wakes up afraid and alone with no memories of certain parts of her life like who’s her family, she also lost her best friend and now trying to make her way through this new life she’s trying to live, whilst hoping for her memories to return. Ashton world fell apart all one night loosing his sister and the love of his life, How can you move on when you have no answers? Will they be strong enough to fight the chemistry and find the answers they both are seeking?
I do have to put in a trigger warning for this book, it is a dark bully romance story that’s so worth the read!!

Dang... what a breakout debut from new author Amber Nicole..
Seriously I had no idea what this book was going to be about but DAMN... Amber went there didn’t she?
I felt so bad for Gracie and Ashton.. Mia has done a number on these families.. I can’t take it.. I was shocked and gutted .. pissed off and feeling very vengeful on behalf of Gracie..
Gracies family are a bunch of right assholes .. after everything is said and done I’m still reeling.. I just can’t even ..
This book was super intense and I was nail biting and freaking stressed at some points.. these people are so crazy.. I can’t wait til book two cause I need to see this story through..

Gracie and Ash's story wrecked me in the beginning but I couldn't put it down, I found it easy to read and the characters and storyline drew me in.
While this does fit into the bully genre it's a bit more complex - friends to lovers, to enemies, to lovers again. Throw in a tragic incident to unravel, and a Queen Cheer B who is ruthless this book is thrilling and heartbreaking.

I really enjoyed this twist on the usual bully romance trope. It grips you from the start with plenty of mystery. Gracie has been through so much but Ashton isn't without his demons either and life threw so many walls at them. I really swung between being desperate for it all to work out and telling Gracie she was a fool and should run as fast as she can! I loved Dom and Hope too, I'd love to see more of them in the future because they're both so sweet.
This is an incredible first book, I would have liked to see the pace a little slower in places (and I'm a sucker for a detailed sex scene but I know not everyone else is!!) I cant wait for book two and to see how Amber grows as an author. With such a strong start its going to be an incredible journey.

Amazing
Wow. I was completely hooked right from the start, completely drawn in and couldn't put it down until the end. This is book one of The Forbidden Truths duet. A revamped version of Fallen Memories. I love that the story is now a whychoose romance. Gracie is such a strong FMC even though she has experienced trauma and has amnesia. All the characters are amazing and Amber Nicole is can excellent writer that helps you to experience their emotions.
