**Please note, this book has been previously published. The author has her rights back and is republishing it now*Montana Alpha Beaux Nelson believes in living his life the way werewolves were meant to—as naturally and free as possible. He honors the moon with every hunt and breath in his body. When he discovers his true mate is the healer of another pack, he’s determined nothing will come between them—not even her kidnapping. Pursuing her across the continent, Beaux will take any risk to claim the woman meant for him…but surviving her rejection is another matter. Lake Fennell has never thrived as a healer should, her gift acts out, she changes others without their permission and has failed to save those precious to her. When she discovers Beaux may very well be her true mate, she flees rather than face the possibility. In her haste, she falls into the arms of the True Believers. Months of torture later, she can barely believe it when she wakes to find herself with the one man she shouldn’t want and can never have. In order to save them both, she must leave her true mate, knowing she might not leave his heart in tact. But if she doesn’t do what she was born to do everything will be lost…including the world she’s fought the hardest for.

Title : Alpha's Truth
Author : Rebecca Royce

Rebecca Royce is smokin hot, every book I read that she writes is just another BEST SELLER!
As we all know from Alpha's Sacrifice, Cyrus the Alpha of Manhattan's sister, Lake was kidnapped by the True Believers. For six months they tortured Lake to the point she didn't know if she could take any more and passed out.
Montana's Alpha Beaux Nelson has been one step behind the True Believers they would move Lake just before he got there. But he would never give up he had to find Lake and protect her. Because Lake was his True Mate. When he found her he would never ever let her go. The next time Lake woke up she was in a bed not hanging by her hands and she smelt Beaux, she was finally safe . Although Lake must do something to save all the children the True Believers had, so she would enlist Beaux's help. Together they would find and help the children. I was gifted this ARC for a honest and truthful review.

This book hit home. If my husband was a werewolf he would be a lot like Beaux Nelson.

Beaux is incredibly patient. He survived Lucien, he survived losing a wife, but he may not survive losing his True Mate, Lake Fennell. He wants/needs her and when she runs he chases. He has been chasing her for 8 months 6 of which she was kidnapped by the True Believers (a human antiwere hate group). Now he has rescued her but she has been through hell and as much as she may want him back she won’t mate with him. This book had me laughing, crying and yelling but it was so worth it in the end. This book can be read standalone but I recommend reading at least Alpha's Strength (Fallen Alpha #1) so you better understand the tensions between the alphas.

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Rebecca Royce. This is from the authors Fallen Alpha series.

Beaux has been searching for Lake but he was always 1 step behind her till now. Now that he had her they were going to pay for hurting his true mate. Lake can't remember how long ago she was taken but she will give anything to save the children, even her life.

This had me from the start and I could not put it down it was that good. The author uses the old way VS the new ways in the story line and it makes the book a great read IMHO. I loved Lake and Beaux's characters and how they interacted with the others.

This is for mature paranormal book readers because of sexual content.

I was lucky enough to receive an Advance Reader Copy of this book (in exchange for an honest review) and I'm so glad I did...Rebecca Royce has become an auto-buy author for me with good reason. The Fallen Alpha series is fantastic and this newest entry in the series continues the love, lust and fabulousity of the prior books.

I've been waiting for this book for a long time (write faster, Rebecca!) to see Beaux and Lake get their happy ever after...and now I want the next one. (Did I mention write faster, Rebecca?!?)

I really enjoyed this book. This book features intriguing characters and a storyline that keeps you guessing.

I feel like this should have been the third book in the series and picked up right after Beaux meets Lake when she comes with her brother to help on the previous mission. You definitely should read book two before this one if not all of them from the beginning.

Lake is someone who has always doubted herself and the situation in book two really hurt her. When she is taken by the True Believers, she is horribly abused. Beaux never gives up on finding his mate and brings her to his home. It is just the beginning for them and leads to a dangerous mission.

The author did a great job of developing the characters and the relationship. You get both of their points of view and I really liked Beaux. He has a strong sense of what is right and wrong and is willing to do what it takes to help others even if it endangers him. He has no desire to lead over others but does so to protect the pack. He really falls hard for Lake.

Lake is dealing with a lot of emotion and little actual information about what is going on with her. As the story continues, she begins to understand and goes on quite a journey. Lake is also very devoted to helping others and takes on their pain in order to heal them. She is so conflicted by her feelings for him and her fears.

You get a lot of information in this book and it makes you very interesting in seeing what is next for them all. There are many secrets yet to be revealed.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

This was my favorite book of the series. It had sooo much going on. Beaux is so old school and strong yet he doesn't fully believe in himself. Lake is new world and also strong but has been made to feel weird and unnatural all her life. She's still recovering from what happened with Kyra and running from Beaux when she finds herself in the hands of the True Believers. Beaux has done nothing but try to find her since she drugged him and hopped on that plane. Finally reunited, Lake and Beaux try to find their way through this new relationship while dealing with the threat from the True Believers. Lake has a secret even she doesn't know she's hiding though.
This story had me hooked and dying to know what was going to happen next. It almost had me in tears at the end. Great series and I'm interested to see where the story goes from here.

This book was awesome but I really had to pay attention otherwise I was left in confusion with all the things that kept happening right and left.
There’s a lot of action in this story and there’s a little bit of steam as well.
But all in all this book was fantastic and it was nice to finally read Lake and Beaux’s story which I’ve been impatiently waiting for even though they both annoyed me as all get out when they were introduced to me during Alpha’s Strength.
But I finally got to see them in another light in this story because it was their point of views their thoughts and so forth this time around.
But anyway yes I most definitely do recommend this book because I thought it was totally fantastic and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for a book to climb into to get completely lost within it.

Lake thinks she can run from Beaux but he is an Alpha wolf and he's hot on her trail!

Beaux let Lake run from him once but never again. People have hurt his true mate and someone is going to have to pay the price for that. Lake has lost count of the days since she was taken but she'll do anything and everything in her power to protect the children what have come into her care.

Oh the tears that were in my eyes and the big lumps in my throat during this book! I loved Lake and very real need and desire to help people, even though she doesn't always get their permission first! Beaux was patient at first with Lake but he is at the end of his tether when Lake was taken

Truly wonderful series!

Wow, this was one of the most powerful books in the series. Beaux has loved Lake and just waiting on and opportunity to show it but she is kidnapped by the True Believers. Now he's having to chase them all across the country. He's also not sure if she would run from him again.
Lake has been through and seen hell. She can't believe when Beaux rescues her. But there is more, The True Believers have a lot of their children and Lake has promised she would get them out. She also has secrets she can't share.
This book was really intense. I loved it!!

Wow, if I thought for a moment that Beau was snarly old-fashioned type of alpha wolf, I was totally wrong. And so was Lake. Lake was this restless part of her brother's pack and didn't know what she was running from or too.

Now I was a bit confused when I first started the book as I thought that I might have missed something or had the wrong order of the books, but I didn't. All worked itself out as the story went forward. I really enjoyed the way that Beau and Lake resolved who they were and what their relationship was.

Good Werewolf Romance.

Good continuation of the Fallen Alpha series. Female main character was likable and showed strength. Male main character was ok; I would have liked more alpha. Plot is good and continues on with the series. I would have liked more explanation and detail in some of the plot situations but hopefully things are explained in the end.
Spice Level: 1 🌶 out of 5. It was also sort of a slow burn - was more than halfway through the book before ❤️.
I enjoyed the book and will continue with book 3. Definitely recommend this book.

Alpha’s Truth by Rebecca Royce is a paranormal romance story. It had many of the elements that I really enjoy in a paranormal tale—shape shifters, a strong alpha male, a strong mate that he is willing to fight for despite her objections, and plenty of conflicts to keep the action going. I think that part of the issue why was I vaguely unsatisfied by the way the story unfolded is because this book is part of the Fallen Alpha series, and it seems that a lot took place in the first book that is very relevant to the events in this one. There are ties between characters, and conflicts that haven’t quite been resolved, and power plays within the shifter world, as well as between shifters and humans, and then there are also unexpected twists that are related to the power plays. In other words, there is a ton of action taking place, and some of it is a bit hard to untangle. I think that familiarity with the first book in the series will help, plus things are probably cleared up in subsequent tales. My advice would be to not read this as a stand-alone, but don’t be afraid to read the Fallen Alpha series, as there are plenty of rousing fights, sensual scenes, and exciting developments to keep you intrigued.

Beaux Nelson is alpha of his pack and is more in touch with his relationship with the Moon than many other shifters he comes into contact with. His determination to rescue and claim his mate, Lake Fennell, is complicated by her refusal to accept her role as Healer. The ultimate role that Lake is to play requires great sacrifice, and the price may be more than any of them is willing to pay.

Alpha's TruthRebecca Royce

Reviewed by SFF Dragon

Wow! What a fantastic addition to the Fallen Alpha Series. So many twists, turns and surprises. I couldn't put it down.

'Alpha's Truth' is book 2, but story 4, in the 'Fallen Alpha' Series by Rebecca Royce and I was given this copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. The series so far is made up of two books and two relatively short stories, and the reading order is starting to get a little confusing, so here it is: #0.5 - Alpha Rising, #1 - Alpha's Strength, #1.5 - Alpha's Sacrifice, #2 - Alpha's Truth.

I love this book which picks up the story of true mates Beaux Nelson, Alpha of the Montana Pack and Lake Fennell, the New York Pack Healer and sister of Cyrus, the Pack Alpha. Set about nine months after the events in 'Alpha's Strength', when Lake, having realised that Beau is her mate, ran back to New York with the rest of her pack, leaving what she thought was a drugged Beaux behind. Three months later, on her way to the Full Moon gathering grounds of her pack, she is kidnapped by True Believers or as those who've read the previous books already know, 'the bad guys'. Fanatics who think that anything not completely human or animal is an abomination and needs to be destroyed. After their scientists have finished experimenting on them, of course. And now they've had Lake for six months.

Beaux chased after Lake and spent three months being refused permission to enter New York pack lands then six months tracking the True Believers who took his mate. Now he's found her, the rescue was easy - too easy, but he's not going to complain. Lake is in a pretty bad condition, but can't stop thinking about the hundreds of stolen werewolf children she saw when she was in captivity, and makes Beaux promise to find and rescue them. But Lake was being drugged all the time and doesn't remember where she saw them and Beaux tracked her to so many places he doesn't know where to start looking. He needs help from other Alphas and puts out the word. Eight respond and the hunt is on...

Like most of Rebecca Royce's books, this one is part of a series and although it could be read as a stand alone, there isn't enough back story in this one to make it feel like you haven't missed anything. I've read the three previous stories in this series, but if I hadn't I'd feel like there are things I should know and don't. Most of the characters have appeared in the first three stories and some are developed a little more, but there are also new ones, including three new Pack Alphas and some surprising new powers are brought into play.

This book is more than your average paranormal romance with action and steamy bits. It's full of twists, turns and surprises around every corner, although there were a couple of parts that were heartbreaking for the characters, the majority of the book was filled with hope and a sense that the threads from the previous stories were coming together in preparation for something big, and there was something big, it just wasn't the something big I was expecting. Beaux and Lake do eventually get their HEA and the threads are in place for the next book. I really can't wait.

This is the fourth story, and the second full length novel, in the Fallen Alpha series. As many of you know who have read my other reviews on this series I love the full length novels. I think Rebecca just needs to keep them that way for the rest of the series and forget about the novellas. This one is the best so far.

After a tragedy ten years ago Beau has gone back to his roots and embraced the old ways of the wolves and the Moon. He feels too many of his kind have integrated with humans to the point they have lost their way. At one point another character calls him a fundamentalist. As the story progresses I had a hard time trying to figure out how he and his Mate, Lake, a Healer for her pack in New York City could ever be together with his radical views. Things change and by the end of the book it is proven that there is much truth to his way of thinking, though not to such an extreme. Many tragedies could have been avoided if the wolves had kept up with their knowledge of the old ways.

I have yet to figure out if the deceased Prime Alpha Lucian was a bad guy or not. Each of the Alpha’s in the books has a different view of him from adoration to hatred. Since we have been able to see him a few times in the Afterlife and how he interacts with the Alpha’s I’m just not sure if I should trust anything he says or not. Beau sure doesn’t and because of this he makes a shocking, to me anyway, decision at the end of the book about another Alpha, Alexei.

Lake is still suffering from her screw up that caused her to be unable to heal a pack mate in a previous book. My heart just bleeds for poor Jensen. Having been captured and tortured for six months by the True Believers she is not ready for a mating with such a fundamentalist True Mate. This is the point in which Rebecca does some major world building that will send this series into a complete and complex story arch as it progresses.

I’m hoping that the next book in the series is about Alexei. He is portrayed as an almost evil Alpha in parts and a caring and charismatic man in others, so I am curious to see how that plays out. So many possibilities in the future books in this series and I look forward to reading them all! After this book I am almost as hooked on this series as I am of her ‘Love Beyond’ one.

Alpha's Truth, by Rebecca Royce

Beaux and Lake. I loved Beaux ! We've met Montana Alpha Beaux previously and Cyrus' sister, Lake, the Healer. Her powers are a bit flaky, she "changes" people without permission, etc. Beaux with his strength and deep beliefs is powerful. He is driven by nature, the moon, and the wolf. He is what Lake needs. She and Beaux know they are mates, but she thinks she is broken and not good enough for him. True Believers caught and tortured her. Beaux and his Pack saved her and brought her home. He is strong, protective and loving. His pack is ruthless and steadfast against an enemy. Helping with the pack birth was exciting, and they began to have sex on the kitchen table, until she heard True Believers voices in her head. She shrank away, but did not tell him the truth. Great deep characters, an interesting plot, different pack dynamics, and hot sexiness make this series wonderful. There are true emotions and tremendous feelings. Good will triumph over evil, and you will love this couple.
The missing children need to be found, and the Alphas gather. Is Lake the "Healer Prime"? Beaux's caring and sweetness toward Lake proves to her he is good for her. A clue is found and they take a trip with the pack. There is a fight at the Diner, and can you see, the True Believers are all wearing the same True Believer t-shirt ! So organized!? Aaron has her kidnapped again, what is happening ? Beaux has a dream talk with the originals, Lily and Lucian. When Aaron is dead, when Lake is "rebirthed" as Healer Prime, she needs her mate, but where is Beaux. He's mourning her death. She must find him, and complete the mating. Super sexy scene, and more definition to where the children are. Phone calls were made and the children found, even back in Cyrus' territory. Alexei is the Alpha Prime reborn? There are still questions left hanging, and maybe we get a new series from it, or more stories. I guess we'll have to wait and see. E N J O Y !!!

This was the first book I've read by Rebecca Royce and I must say it was good one. Beau was the kind of hero that you wanted. He was smart, sexy, and loyal to a fault. My only issue with him was that he was a traditionalist and lived in the middle of nowhere. And like Lake I assumed that meant living in a run down cabin a with not a lot of amenities. But we were fooled. I loved his home and his pack. Beau is tickled pink with Lake. He likes everything about her especially her being a healer. But Lake is not convinced and thinks that with where he lives and the issues she's having with her healing powers that it would be best to just not accept the mate bond

Thus the first part of this book deals with Lake being a typical female wolf an running from Beau which is what females do when they meet their true mate. They run and the males chases. But in this chase her running got her caught by the True Believers and they are a nasty piece of work. They hold her hostage an torture and abuse her until finally Beau frees her. But all is not as it seems and if sometimes something seems too easy there is usually a reason for it and in this case not a very good one.

I'm going to give away the ending but just saying she puts you through the wringer before you get your happy ever after lol. But since it is all good with this couple in the end I'm fine with that. There was one minor issue with this book and it was that it was a second book in a series and you could tell. It wasn't bad but there was just a feeling of not being in the loop so to speak but it was minor so I am still giving the book 4 stars.

A gifted copy was provided by author/publisher for an honest review.

I have just finished reading 'Alpha's Truth' book 2 of Rebecca's "Fallen Alpha" series, I have never read anything of Rebecca's before & let me say I was very impressed. I found it hard to not read all the book in 1 sitting, when reality called I faught it hard, I was so enthralled in the story. 'Alpha's Truth' is book 2 in the series & although you could read it as a stand alone, the information is thourough within this book & it was understandable, I would advise you to start at the prequel to the series. Although I didn't do that I plan to get all the books in the series & read them all as soon as possible.

Beaux is Alpha to his pack, having already buried a mate, he retreats into the wilderness to protect himself & his pack by reinstating the older werewolf customes. Meeting his True Mate was a shock to his system, especially when Lake doesn't want to mate & be comtrolled, returning to her brothers pack she deos everything she thinks will keep Beaux off of her trail, then Lake is kidnapped by the True Believers, a human anti-were hate group. Beaux has been on Lake's trail for 8 months, 6 of those whilst she was kept by the True Believers..... You have to read & find out what happens, you wont be dissappointed when you do.

I can not wait to read the books before 'Alpha's Truth' & the books to come in the series as Rebecca's created a series that is truly spell binding. There was action, adventure, growth, love, tension & trust... I loved the histories that Rebecca has conjured up for this series, I would love to learn more about them.

Beaux has more trouble than the average male catching his true mate Lake. First she drugs him and runs off then she manages to get herself kidnapped by the True Believers and he has been one step behind them for months. But even when he rescues her she remains just out of his reach and she won’t tell him why. While with the True Believers Lake was forced to try and help werewolf children with her healer gift but lost way too many to the poisons the True Believers injected them with; she has fleeting memories of her incarceration but she remembers she must help the children and makes Beaux promise to find them. Of course he agrees and even holds an Alpha meeting to get reinforcements; the whole time Lake starts to fall for Beaux and turns out the only reason she won’t mate him is she feels she is going to die and doesn’t want to cause him extra pain. Unfortunately, the actual bite is not what creates the bond for a male like for a female and Beaux is already too connected to Lake to live without her. The True Believers attack while several Alphas are in New Jersey following a lead on the children and Lake is captured and she believes Beaux, Travis, and Cyrus all dead. Beaux technically is dead and talks to Lucien, and Lilly and her Alpha (the first werewolves) and they confirm to him Lake is Healer Prime and he must protect her. But will he be able to save her again from the True Believers and get her to accept that they are mates? Read to find out! Great story and I hope there are more in the series to come…highly recommend!! **Book received in exchange for an honest review**

This novel contains quite a few elements you look for when reading romance. Being it is also a paranormal just makes it even more tantalizing. Never give up on the one you know you love no matter what the obstacles. That is clearly shown in here when Beaux goes in search of his mate who has been taken. Persistence winning and the faith he had that he would find her came to a reality. But Lake feels she is broken and she will be proven by love that it can heal and mend if you allow it. The things Beaux stands for and believes in for him and his have also alot of power and magic that will also cause others to stand up and take notice. There is also a very important mission to accomplish here that will take the unity of many that this author gives you hope that as you read this that they must not fail. Beaux and Lake are also the ones to be the catalyst to bring this about also. A wonderful relationship is also witnessed in these two as they work through and grow with love and trust grows with them. It is also revealed just how important Lake is and how much she is essential and it takes one such as Beaux to be her mate especially because of what he believes and stands for. The evil faction that they all battle will also take some hits in this one that will have you arm pumping and yelling yeah! of course there are other wonderful characters in this that are also part of this exciting romantic read. Received a arc for a honest review.

I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.

I absolutely love this series. I actually find it hard to put into words how much I really do love it. I am able to become attached to each of the characters in this book series. They have such wonderful personalities. This book revolved around Lake and Beaux. Beaux is the strong silent type. I didn’t get to many peeks at his hidden soft side but when they did come out it was brilliant. With regards to Lake, from the previous books she gave only a slight hint at that she had some inner demons to work on. In this book she showed that she really did have things going on and it nearly destroyed her but how she came out on top was amazing. She really found her inner strength and I think that gave her a bit of peace.

This story line is fantastic and it keeps drawing me in. I love to see the growth and how each relationship ties in. I can’t help but feel that a big battle is coming and everything that is happening to each individual/group is just a test to see if everyone is strong enough. If they will come together to for it. Overall each book links in well with the previous one before it and this one is no exception. I am dying to find out what happens next.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Rebecca Royce has knocked another one out of the park this book was absolutely fantastic .Alpha Beaux is living his life the way werewolves were meant to naturally not in a city filled with humans he finds his mate in Lake healer and sister to Manhattan alpha Cyrus .Lake has never been a "normal" healer she is unable to wait and ask to heal those in need.Lake gets kidnapped by True Believers who tortured and altered in some way , her powers are offline and shes unsure of herself and her abilities.Rescued by Beaux she tells him shes learned there are children who need help .Beaux is protective of his mate and will do anything to help her heal and prove they belong together. This story was filled with emotion ,danger and suspense .A wonderful story that is well written with characters I was immediately drawn to .Rebecca has created a series that you immediately fall into and forget about the real world its a must read .

Alpha's Truth (Fallen Alpha 2)
by Rebecca Royce

Love Alpha's Truth. Lake and Beaux have so many hurdles to get over.

First she runs from Beaux (normal for a she-wolf, they loved to be chased). Second, she is kidnapped by True Believers and Beaux follows them all over the place, as they move her from place to place. Third, she denies the mating. What?!

Lake refuses to mate with Beaux, believing she is sparing him from a horrible devastation when she dies. Dies? Now?

What exactly did the True Believers do to her? She is a Healer, shouldn't she be able to heal?

What about the children?

So many things happening and so little time to figure it all out. Can they? Will Beaux and Lake get the HEA or will Beaux wind up going lone wolf?

Exciting and heartbreaking.

Sit in a comfy chair and have something nice to drink, because you won't be able to put this book down once you start reading it.

Alpha's Truth is an awesome werewolf romance that keeps you totally engrossed in the story throughout the entire book. You laugh, cry, and root for the good to overcome the evil. It was great to see an Alpha man pushed to his limits in the patience arena by his true mate...and she can really push it at times! She thinks she is broken and unworthy. He thinks she is perfect.
Beaux protects and fights for his mate throughout this exciting book. He is strong, physically and mentally, but allows himself to be soft for his true mate, even when he is frustrated.
I definitely recommend this book to anybody who loves werewolfs and true love!!

Alpha's Truth is the second full book in the Fallen Alpha series. This is Beaux and Lake's story.
WOW!!!
Beaux believes in following the old traditions. He is the alpha in Montana. He realizes that Lake is his mate but she runs.
Lake is a healer that is starting to wonder if anything is worth it. She is kidnapped by the True Believers.
It takes Beaux six months to rescue Lake. Their mating is full of twists, struggles, self-doubt and finally a HEA.
Rebecca had me on from the first page to the end of the book. There is just so much in this story that comes out. I want more and look forward to the next book in this series.

Lake's story... We know from the earlier books that Beaux is her true mate and she drugged him and flew back to NY with her brother Cyrus. Now we find out that shortly thereafter she was kidnapped by the True Believers and Beaux has been tracking her down to rescue her, but will he get to her in time? Will she be ok and recover from whatever they did to her during the time they held her captive? Will she ever accept him as her true mate?
This is a page turner (but then again the whole series has been). There's action, drama, emotional highs and lows, danger, and so much possibility!
Happy reading : )

My favorite book in this series so far. Rebecca Royce knows how to tell a story and keep you interested. A few grammatical errors and a mix up of names a few times, but nothing you can't figure out. Beaux is an 'old ways of the wolf" Alpha and Lake is purely citified. Mates. Lake is a healer who can't seem to control her powers and Alpha Beaux of the Montana Pack knows what she'd capable of. Great chemistry between these two, lots of action and some pretty hot sex. We also get to hear from the previous characters as they appear in this story.

I was so excited by Alpha’s Truth. At the end of Alpha’s Sacrifice, I knew it was going to be explosive. I just didn’t know how explosive. In Alpha’s Truth, we find out what happened to Lake when she ran from Beaux in Alpha’s Sacrifice. This story was a little faster paced than the others, which suited me just fine. I loved the amount of back story we got and even more information on the werewolf history. Lake and Beaux’s story has been my favorite so far and the series just keeps getting better. I hope there is more to come.

I was taken from the first page and really did not want this book to end. A Healer that has been kidnapped,an Alpha bent on proving to her they belong together, throw in crazy True Believer Group trying to kill all werewolves and Rebecca has written another great part to the series. I enjoyed the little twists and turns and reintroduction of several Alpha's that should make for great additions to series. DO NOT PASS THIS SERIES UP, NEED TO READ IN ORDER
