Not a workbook at all. Just tells you to declutter your home and life. Mostly common sense stuff everyone already knows.

Very good beginner book

The book divides the home into workable areas. I believe it is designed more for the smaller house or an apartment. There are good ideas for decluttering and minimalist design.
Several DYI projects included in the book.

Not worth it, very basic.

You could read this as an article in Good Housekeeping magazine. Don't waste your time on this. It's the first thing to get rid of.

One of the More Strange Decluttering Books I’ve Read

I have read a number of books on decluttering. This is the first one that literally made me raise my eyebrows when I got to a certain point. I received a review copy in PDF format, and it has 44 pages in that version. I knew when I saw the actual length of the manuscript that the book would not be terribly detailed, but I will admit that I was surprised at what the book actually had.

The initial chapters seemed like any you would find in a decluttering book, first defining it before moving on to talking about decluttering the bedroom. But what I wasn't expecting at the end of chapter one was 11 full pages given over to DIY bedroom storage space projects. I quite know what to expect after that, as the book was half over already. So, in fact, the rest of the chapters did get short shrift. The “chapter” on decluttering the rest of your home is literally one page, essentially saying, “Yep, you're not done, so start with your living room.” And then it went on to the next chapter… literally. This book, as quite often happens in books on decluttering, then tries to expand the concept outward to things like finance and even the rest of your life. Again, these big topics were given such cursory examination that it is laughable. The author seems to be of two minds about technology and the internet, at times saying you should use it more, yet then at other times, he says to use it less. Like the other books by this author, there are issues with grammar, punctuation, and usage. All in all, I found this to be a very unsatisfying book. If you are interested in the topic, you would be better off finding another book.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Common sense organization reminders.
Here’s a short compilation containing common sense reminders of helpful ideas for organization. I would have liked some more strategical helpers for different areas of life’s organizing needs. Quick reminders never hurt anybody...however wording of said reminders definitely can. Positive ways of thinking should begin the building blocks. I did not really feel that vibe here.

4 1/2 stars

I enjoyed how this book no only gives clear direction; yes some of it is common sense, but inspiration that you are not alone in your clutter. And yes something can be done about it. The author guides you to understand why we have clutter and how it holds us back. He also gives some detailed plans at the end for some inventive storage ideas. Great read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy without expectations.

Inspirational and practical

I bought the kindle one for a very good price but then turned around and bought the softcover one for a friend because I was inspired to change my life and thought she would be also. It's not just the how to but the why behind it that gives us a reason to change our lifestyle.

This is a total puff piece. Very short and very light on any kind of information or tips. Everything is very much a no brainer like reminding you to put things in your calendar and use notes apps to keep track of your life. Lots of things like clean up after yourself and make your bed each morning. Got it as a freebie.

Very easy to read. Like having a conversation over a cup of coffee. Simple to apply suggestions. Shows how to break down into achievable steps. Without getting into science or psychology, also addresses the mental and emotional aspects of clutter and hoarding.
To me, a workbook would have pages to write on or paste before and after pictures.

I found this workbook to be very helpful. Includes directions for making projects that are mentioned. These projects are things that will help you to achieve your goals.

There are many helpful suggestions to help you declutter your mind and your home. It's amazing what clutter does to us. I recommend this workbook.

A good book about decluttering . It is far reaching in that it talks about not only decluttering your home but also other aspects of your life such as your mind, schedules, and relationships . There were several good ideas that I might use .
I received a copy of this book from Storyorigin and this is my freely given and honest review.

Some good ideas, but not a workbook

I wanted a workbook. This isn’t one. It has some instructions for DIY projects. The ideas are good, but I’m looking for exercises to help me declutter. I know it won’t get done all at once, so small tasks would be great.

Quick guide

The author gives some tips on ways to organize your life not just your home. This book is short and doesn’t overwhelm you with too many details just a few basics to develop into habits.

Okay

OKAY book but honestly pretty much same information you can find online for free. Not a waste but could have some more unique tips to help others declutter.

Easy & Helpful Read

Short, Sweet (joyful) & to the Point is a great way to teach and get attention to the subject. This author does this superbly as a word-minimalist

Not what it seems

This book is not step by step decluttering, it has a lot of self help building ideas that are mostly step by step but does not always match the photo shown!

Declutter made easy

Easy read, not complicated, the book covered a lot of areas, but not overly specific, so I was able to retain a lot of ideas, would recommend.

Basic DYI Guide,

This is a great guide for the beginner who has little to no knowledge of how to declutter.
