Dom continues in her adventures all over Mundytown with friends Pancho and Steph and this time, she has to be sure that Leni’s quinceanera goes off without a hitch, even if the Bublassi brothers have other plans. 2nd -4th grade students will enjoy the third installment in the Definitely Dominguita series and teachers, parents and libraries will be pleased to offer them a realistic fiction book with a bit of adventure, a large helping of fun, and absolutely no profanity, violence, or sexual content. The trio of friends are Hispanic, Black, and Caucasian, and in this installment, the traditions surrounding the special celebration of a young lady’s 15th birthday are liberally sprinkled throughout.

Challenges: Wonkathon Oct 2021 - Spoiled child/bully (5/15); Reading Goal Posts/Stacking the Series - Priority Three/Tier Seven. Another installment that encourages children to use their imagination, and apply the main principles learned in the great classics to meet the challenges of everyday life with courage, confidence, and creativity. Even though Dom and her friends use current technology, they do so appropriately; yet, they live out in the world and do not sit in front of a screen all day. This story, based on 'The Three Musketeers' by Alexander Dumas, was a bit disjointed between scenes and the execution of the conclusion, but was successful in presenting how to subvert those who are trying to sabotage the lives of those about whom you care.
