I barely survived my second year at Legacy Academy, and I have more crazy powers that are hard to control.
But I have to, right?
Unfortunately, the dark demons want me and last time almost got me if it weren’t for Lucien and the Defenders.
To make matters worse, there’s a reason why I’m different from all the other dragons. The Headmaster dropped a bomb that knocked my socks off!
More prophecies are coming true, and they’ll change the supernatural world forever.
I’m not sure what’s in store for this coming year, but I do know if I don’t get a handle on my destiny, I could lose my mom forever.
The problem is, I can’t focus on mastering my powers when all I want to do is to be with Lucien, but can we ever be together? He’s a Golden Demon and I’m a dragon, but according to him, we can change the rules.
But at what price?
Legacy Academy Year Three is the third book in the Legacy Academy romance series. If you want to unravel riddles, dive into forbidden love, and attend a magical school, then you’ll want to grab this twisting, turning tale!
M Guida has always loved fantasy and romance, especially dragons. Growing up, she devoured fantasy books and all kinds of young adult books. And then she found romance and a whole new world opened up to her.
Now as an adult, she fell in love with academy romance and has blended all of her past loves into one compelling series. Dragons, vampires, elves, demons, and shifters all attend Legacy Academy.
When she's not writing, she lives in the colorful Rocky Mountains with her fur baby, Raven, and enjoys taking her for walks.

38%... All of the royals are telling her they will put down their life for her, even though 2 of them are in love with their girlfriends who happen to be good friends with Raven... One even said he was only dramatic for Raven...WTF??
In book one, the Dragon Magic professor shifted without having to get undressed. Raven was told that they would learn that skill in year 2...? Not only did they never learn it, but even her father had to undress??
In book one, Lucien and Raven could call on their weapons if and as needed. I guess that magic only lasted a few months? After the first year they have had to carry there weapons and in book 2 Raven was even upset that they didn't think to bring them....
This is so frustrating. This could be a great story, but it's like the author just didn't care enough. I imagine the author could have fixed a lot of these errors with just another read through and maybe so timeline notes.

NOOOOOO! Don't read this review if you haven't read the book.
I can't believe I finished it so fast 🥲 I absolutely love this series. I am a little disappointed by the deaths in this book and I'm hoping they somehow come back in the next book. Please please please bring them back. The whole team is what makes the book. I really think it will hurt the series in the end if they don't come back. Can't wait for the 4th book. I just dont think I can wait almost 2 months 😔
Book three was started right after the last one! I just needed to find out what happens!
OMG the ending had me in tears! I was not expecting that to happen! I am so bummed and heartbroken! Ugh! Overall the book was good, but it was looking forward to see the badass heroine from book 1 who didnt let anyone scare her.
Since I already picked up book 4, I read onto the next book!
Well I read them all. But the first 3 books all start out the same like it was a repeat you knew what to expect. I had to jump around just to get to see what was not already predicted. Fourth book I had just a hard time getting into.
I’m a bit conflicted about this book. On the whole I liked it, but if there is a secret supernatural world out there, I hope to God it’s not dependent on an insipid heroine like Raven. I rather liked her in the first book - a spunky girl that didn’t let the bullies get her down. However, each subsequent book made her look more weak and incompetent and that’s saying a lot considering she’s a supposed powerful silver dragon. She seems to constantly be reduced to tears and her whole posse spends an inordinate amount of time consoling her for one reason or another. Personally, I would find being her friend emotionally exhausting.
There are some editorial issues; missing words in sentences and incorrect word usage (e.g., bare vs bear). But it’s not enough to be too distracting. I’d still recommend this book, but be prepared to find yourself saying, “ah geez, she’s crying again?” Often.
I loved it! It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This story is a slow burn, with a love triangle, forbidden romance, fated mates, and found family. Grab this new romance academy and enroll in Legacy where you’ll met Dragons, Wolves, Demons, Fae, and Vampires. Welcome to Legacy Academy. There are three rules at this supernatural academy. One, date your own kind for mixing with other races is forbidden, two, never speak or look at The Royals, the powerful princes destined to rule each of their kingdoms and three, avoid the human world. Raven has broken all the rules. She barely survived her second year and she has even more crazy powers that are hard to control. She has to learn to, unfortunately, the dark demons want her and last time they almost got her if it weren’t for Lucien and the Defenders. To make matters worse, there’s a reason why she’s different from all the other dragons. The Headmaster dropped a bomb that knocked her socks off. More prophecies are coming true, and they’ll change the supernatural world forever. She’s not sure what’s in store for this coming year, but she does know if she doesn’t get a handle on her destiny, she could lose her mom forever. The problem is, she can’t focus on mastering her powers when all she wants to do is be with Lucien, but can they ever be together? He’s a Golden Demon and she’s a Dragon, but according to him, they can change the rules, but at what price? So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend to everyone.
I'm a sucker for supernatural academy books, this one hits the spot.
As we start the 3rd book of the series, Raven is still on her mission to rescue her mum, hone her powers whilst juggling her school work and love life and last but not least, try to get get kidnapped-right- sounds like an ordinary term for her.
This novel was thrilling and suspenseful where we get closer to discovering the truth behind her silver dragon and what the dark demons are doing. Lucien has continually proved himself to be dependent and caring for Raven so he has grown on me. However, a very small part of me would always be #TeamBo.
There are several things my brain finds it hard to wrap around. For example was it necessary for Willie to change her name to Mina because that totally threw me off. According to the book's time line, it's already been 3 years since Raven started school so that means it's been 3 years since her mum got locked up. It's just meh, but I can get over it.
First my bad, I thought this was an RH -- it's not. There is a love triangle but it obviously did not resolve the way I expected.
Ongoing issues: 1. Editing -- SOOOOOO many instances where the wrong word was used or just misspelled. A good editor would have solved this. It was a little ridiculous when the word would be used correctly literally ONE paragraph before. "threw it away", "through it away" 2. World building. While it was overall good, there were some nagging questions. Where does the money come from for the supernatural kingdoms? If our sup kids are going to college and only learning sup things, how does that pay the bills? The whole series everyone has money and never thinks about it. 3. While I don't think the heroine is a Mary Sue, sometimes the supporting characters treated her like one. Anyone who dislikes her is evil or turns evil.
Otherwise not a bad plot and a good ride. Kindle unlimited and engaging enough for me to plow through all 4 in a day. (sick day.)
I gave this book a 4 even though I absolutely love it and the series, however I really do not understand why everything ends up being blamed on Raven?!🤔🙄🤷🏻♀️The other characters have been raised in this supernatural world unlike Raven who was NEVER told she was supernatural nor was she trained. And can someone please kick 🤛🏼Vivian’s dumb ass?🙄Another thing, the deaths and sad moments near the end felt very forced and unnecessary. I mean, I read books like these to escape reality.🤷🏻♀️ I mean come on, Bo gets killed?!😥are you freaking kidding me?😭💔I just knew that Raven’s dad was the Golden Phoenix! I’m truly hoping things can get wrapped up so Raven and her team plus her and Lucien can be reunited and destroy Ryker and his stupid dark demon militia.
Legacy Academy: Year Three: Paranormal Academy Romance
Loved 🥰 and hated this book at the same time, so much betrayal and honor i can’t believe how quickly I finished this book, I absolutely love this series. I am a little disappointed by the deaths in this book 🥺😢🥺😢. The whole team is what makes the book. Can't wait to start reading 4th book. but above all an amazing read impossible to put down. Series just keeps getting better no way to predict the next page never mind chapter.. Please get a good spell checker.. I definitely recommend this book…
I love the book and the plot but its not very original. It literally follows the entire Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare with a few different twists. I love that she has finally gained the approval of a few of the kings and their support. I love that her friends returned to the academy to help her fight and find her mom. I hate that she and everyone else keep getting injured but at least they have the doctor. I hate how someone from their past is now fighting against them. I hate Vivian still and how she is spreading rumors and helping the demon king.
Surprises in this one, still a good story line. However, grammatical errors, ran rampant throughout. Some required guessing at intent, some needing rereading and editing in your head to understand. Not sure what the point is in the MC having zero doubt in her abilities even though she came through challenges time and time again. Hope book 4 gets better editing so the story for Raven can be wrapped up nicely.
The story is essentially very good. But the books have not been edited. Far too many errors, that are off putting when reading. The 2nd and 3rd books have gotten better in padding things out, the first one felt wooden amd false, but the ending had hooked me so I continued. Suggest to the author to have it edited correctly as the story line is essentially very good.
The lead in this is so annoying! Truly she spends so much time whining about things that she can easily change. I was hoping that book 2 would be an improvement but it's the same with no personal growth. And still insists she knows better but needs someone to save her while supposedly being a rare powerhouse. I have to tap out of the series because so wants to be frustrated with the stupid?
I enjoyed the plot. The series has been quick and has had some plot twists. I only give it 4 stars though for 2 reasons. 1: there have been several grammar errors. I don't expect perfection, but I would expect less from an editor. The second reason is the flow of things. Sometimes it's great and I see character growth and development, and then it's like we're back to square one.
Okay this series is knocking me down so many pegs at a time. I had thought wearily that Bo would betray her because she chooses Lucien but instead he dies for her even after she mated with Lucien?! Mannnnnn I’m heartbroken. Unless he’s not really dead and it was all somehow a trick. Idk I found it odd he gave her the music box even after she mated with Lucien. Guess we’ll find out in the final book. I really liked Poppy and I’m heartbroken for Xavier to loose her!
This was an awesome third book in the series. There were so many plot twists and it was completely action packed. The ending was gut wrenching to me but I feel that it was necessary. I am anxious to see how the next book will play out. I can’t wait for it to come out.
Raven and the Defenders are back together again for the new school year. This year begins just as hectic and dangerous as last year. There were parts that had me laughing and a few chapters later I was boohooing. I went through all of my emotions and didn't want to put it down. Legacy Academy is a series I highly recommend.
I’m really enjoying this series, in this instalment we see the defenders become a closer unit and more secrets are revealed. Someone from the past comes back to help. There are new magic tricks and new enemies arise. I love this style of writing, the emotion and detail were fantastic- I honestly had tears in one part. Cliffhanger ending, can’t wait to read book 4
It’s an amazing book as long as you read it how it should go.. it’s almost as if it wasn’t edited or spell checked lol. A lot of errors but the story line itself is wonderful. I was in tears that’s for sure. I wish I had a Bo or Lucien.. I would have kept them both. Shame on her 😂
Read this book in one night, pieces starting to come together but did Bo really have to die? Looking forward to book #4 now, only issues I found were incomplete sentences and a few typos which hopefully will be corrected with an update.
The love the Legacy Academy series can’t wait for the next book to come out. It was exciting, full of danger and love. I was very sad with how it ended I almost cried. Great book
Don't expect to.like the main character. She constantly complains, act much younger than her age, is full of doubt and codependent on her boyfriends to make her feel happy or safe. The storyline is good but a weak female heroine brings it down.
Sometimes authors think it’s cute to reuse a plot device over and over and over and over again. I love this series. But every 3 pages this idiot’s stomach growls. It’s annoying. It detracts. Seriously. Enough already.
Holy wow!! That was some ending. This series just keeps getting better and better, full of danger, intrigue, reconciliation, fear and heartbreak. Prepare for one heck of a ride.
This story continues the stories of students at Legacy. We also have the villain, who now brings his son and daughter into the fray. Raven finds her father when he comes to Legacy. Raven and Lucian are now mated in a very sweet and tender love story.
What a cliffhanger of an ending. Raven and Lucian story has come so far. Raven keeps getting hit with these side bombs and I hope she stays strong. This book is a tearjerker.
Love, hate, betrayal, honour but above all an amazing read impossible to put down. Series just keeps getting better no way to predict the next page never mind chapter
