The 10th Doctor gets an invitation from one River Song, now known as an Ace dancer in Strictly come Dancing and totally nothing to do with this story whatsoever but just wanted to mention it. They find themselves on a planet which is in essence a giant cemetary. The only inhabitants are ghosts. The Doctor does not believe in ghosts but has no answer when they encounter themselves as ghosts. The Doctor knows when River going to die and thus knows she is going to survive. So who are you going to call.......?
An enjoyable tale with Alex Kingston and David Tennant who are surprisingly gentle with eachother.
Another delightfully silly and clever bundle of timey-whimey stuff that seems really only conceivable when the Tenth Doctor and River Song are involved. This one didn’t quite play out as fun as I’d hope it might, but it was still shamelessly entertaining.
River and the Doctor meet up on the most haunted planet in the universe -- a place famous for ghost tourism. Except something's killing off the ghosts. The episode may be just a little too high-concept, and therefore a bit confusing. I'm not entirely sure that it made a whole lot of sense in the end, so you just have to kind of . . . roll with it.
This is a great story with a believable explanation for the OC behavior of the characters. It a interesting story that kept me on my toes because I was as clueless as the characters. I recommend this set of stories with 10 and River.
This one's quite brilliant. Maybe one of the best I've heard from Big Finish. Hope there's more to this series. River and the Tenth are a really great pair that we never saw too much of on the series.
I've really enjoyed these Tenth Doctor and River Song adventures. This story acts as the series finale and desperately left me wanting more; hopefully Big Finish will release another series.
