A lovely novel with enough dog blood to make you feel like a single pringle in 2023.

both the ml and mc match each other very well and on top of that the fellow guild members and families make you want to continue chapter after chapter. Seriously other danmei families could learn a lot on how to treat their children from this novel.

world building for the game was rather well done. compared to the real world you got a more in depth view on what everything looked like and how the systems worked. dont be confused tho this novel is tagged as gaming NOT e-sports.

the romance was well paced in my opinion, maybe a bit fast for others but considering the plot it honestly felt more like a slow burn. there werent that many plot-holes and the ending didnt feel rushed or cut off. some details were a bit lacking on certain aspects but that wasnt anything to be majorly put off by.

in the end i give this novel a well deserved 4.5/5 with a good chance of being reread in the future!

Live laugh love Ran Ran.
His temper almost matches mine and I love himmmmmmmm.
Funny how he first seemed like a menace but then everyone else turns out to be a far greater menace. JX is my precious i love him. He is absolutely perfect for RanRan.

Tbh I loved basically all characters aside from The Bitch ofc. Got what he deserved and can rot in jail now ❤️.

The side couple(s) were also soooo beautifullllllllll. I love the cousin and Pure White Sun is indeed very pure, and now has a wife.

Also a much needed shout out to the chicken with its many over exaggerated cowlicks.

There was hardly a moment I didn't enjoy in this light novel. Well, aside from that torturous shit of him getting locked up.
This book I think has dragged me into the ABO world more and the concept I really like, aside from how beast like the A's can get. Also there ofc are just many absolutely unexplained things in abo👀 but I can ignore that.
Think I'll read more in the next period of time.

Also love for Yue Shizhong and Deng Ling. Love strong O's.

All in all, this was just great. Great romance, decent plot, great comedy, so it was really fun to read.

Ngl I'm still sad they abandoned the usernames Vault of Heavens Essence and Smashing Vault Heaven 😂😂😂😂😂
What I forgot to mention is how great the in game part was (aside from the birches) and how much I love the friend group (I ship Sunken fish BTW, inky can surely find someone on his own). This makes me want to get into mmorpg ngl.

This was sooo cute! Yue Ran is so baby, my son.
e-sports and fake dating is already so good, paired with Yue Rans personality and Jiang Xiao always indulging him it really was fun reading this.

I am so glad Yue Ran's pheromone mutation ended up being something that just made him able to differentiate between alphas with strong genes from those with weaker ones rather than it being a mutation that makes him unappealing to alphas. Although it still would have been good that way since Jiang Xiao was willing to find a way to be with him, I was scared to see Jiang Xiao show any type of disgust from his pheromones even though I know he would try to hide it, I'm sure it would have still hurt Yue Ran.
