Don't fall for me, I'm no good human.

I'll be soft at the beginning, caring, loving. I'll stand by you when you or your family need me-of course to gain trust, because everyone who is good at heart wants other people to do good and make them believe that good exists. I'll play this game of make-believe. I'll hide my insecurities, try and act like a perfect human, give you freedom, make you feel as if you're the most important person in my life.
- By Mohammad Afroz, You Are All I Need

I love reading love stories. I’m a sucker for romance and I look up to Ravinder Singh for that sometimes. I like how he goes for real stories more rather than the cheesy stuff.

You Are All I Need is a collection of beautiful love stories- complete, incomplete, incomplete yet complete love beyond boundaries, cast or religion differences. Some stories just pierced my heart with their beautiful storylines, way of storytelling and there flow, inspired me, while some were not able to leave an impact on me. Each story is written by different author is what makes it an amazing book.

My favorite stories were The Door of the Closet are Now Open by Sai Nithin, The Genesis of Luck by Ruby Gupta, I'm No Good Human by Mohammad Afroz, Platform 9...and 3/4? by Sashwati Ghosh, My Superhero Girlfriend by Writuraj Ghosh and Love in the Times of Marriage by Aparajita Shishoo.

Every story has an essence of its own. I really enjoyed reading tis book. It made me smile and think about various things that we sometimes don’t find words to express and even gave words to some of my feelings.

I have posted a detailed review on my blog, where I have tried to talk about all 26 stories separately.

You like love stories? You like short stories? Looking for a light read? Wanna explore something different?

If answer to any question is yes, then you should definitely go for this book.

Love when comes, comes with stomach getting tickled by butterflies, hearts beating fast, flushed cheeks, bodies shivering, feelings in form of words, a sense of being special to someone, stack of hidden emotions, pang of jealousy, pain, state of being unrequited, broken hearts, soaked pillows, sleepless nights, courage to break societal norms, unbelievable transformations and yet many more things.

"You are all I need", an anthology compiled by Ravinder Singh in collaboration with Romedy now, is a collection of 27 love stories with their own definitions of love. After reading this, I felt that love is love only. It can't be bounded with age, religion and societal norms. It is free from all of these things- filtered from all the impurities. Each story had that one uniqueness in it which didn't leave me unamazed. Some of my favorites were:

The pain in "A brief reunion" by Dayal Punjabi hit me hard.

The independent girl yet confusing nature of girl in "Love in Dhavali" by Sucharita Date was quite relatable.

"The Doors of the Closet are now open" by Sai Nithin taught that the importance of a relationship should be understood soon before time makes us understand it.

"A Cocoon of love" by Ruby Gupta showed that every love story needn't be accepted by the society, it's better if it remained under the warmth of a cocoon.

"The Matchmaker" by Anuj Dutt had fun elements and had a jugadu type of love. I really enjoyed it!

Luck and love went hand by hand in "Destiny swipes right" by Rachita Ramya.

Being in love is easy but to remain in it needs courage. This is what "Love transcends generations" by Rupali Tiwari had in its store.

I felt decoding silence is the most beautiful thing in love after I read "Fast train to Love" by Pooja Dubey.

"The genesis of luck" by Ruby Gupta showed that love can happen anytime; it isn't destined to happen if you plan it.

"Untold affection" by Aarthi Mathialagan made me smile reminding of the school day love.

"I'm no good human" by Mohammad Afroz had a combination of love and imagination.

"Pure Love" by Praneetha Gutta and "Beyond Right and Wrong" by Supreet Kaur showed that love needs no validation; either by a person or the whole society.

"Once Upon a love" by Suranya Sengupta showed the lost essence of love in the present times poisoned by societal boundaries.

"Yesterday Once More" by Sarbani Ray had the beauty of revival of long lost school love.

"Flare" by Mariam Rashid had cruelty of society inflicted upon love and finding ways to keeping love alive in a way or other.

All the stories made me wonder how love is variable. It was like I dived into an ocean of love and got hit by many thunderstorms and then sailed smoothly too. This book is worth reading, whether you love reading romance genre or not.

Cannot be more grateful for this surprising well put collection of short stories, for getting me out of my slump!

Love stories are what these are! And how each of them are narrated is an absolute delight. But what knits them together is the butterflies you get when you read them reinforcing the fact that yes true love does exist!

From childhood love to long love lost finding their way to each other ; from feeling lost in love to knowing your worth when in love : you get them all.

'Love makes the world go round' and these stories are sure to keep you engrossed till the very end.

Thank you @reader_viddh for the copy!

Ink will fall short if we start writing about love. As much as it's universal and central to the existence of life, it's equally variable and follows a complex pattern. No two individuals will experience the same emotions or see love in the same way. There's always a new path waiting for us to travel there. From unrequited love to the reconciliation of old lovers, reminiscing memories of the could have been, the stories of "You are all I need" focus on how love changes us as a person and makes our life more beautiful and how it teaches us some of the important lessons of life. The diverse nature of the stories brings about a new flavor into it. Every story is so beautifully articulated that it leaves the reader with a thought to ponder upon.

You Are All I Need, edited by Ravinder Singh is a collection of short stories by different authors exploring different phases and stages of life true love stories.

This collection of stories have a strong narrative and is a quick read, this book kind of provides soothing comfort when read with a mug of hot tea on a Chilly Night.

A few of the stories were super cute and all the characters were likable. Most of the stories were short and the storyline kept me reading to see how this would end up.

A cocoon of love by Ruby Gupta which takes us to the journey of Ketki and Mala where's my favorite read of all the stories.

You should definitely pick up this book if

Ravinder Singh's 'You Are All I Need' is a collection of heart touching stories that bring readers to ponder on the myriad facets of love. I am a sucker for a romance book, and this book was just another addition to my long list of romance read. The author has compiled cute love stories for readers to feel all the right emotions. You will cry, laugh, think, and have mixed feelings after you finish reading.
This is a very light read and I could easily finish this in one sitting. Altogether, the book has 26 stories- all defining love in various forms. You might as well find some stories relatable. I won't' be disclosing much about the book here, all I can say is that this is the cutest book of love. If you love a good romance, you will enjoy reading this one. Someone rightly said 'Love makes the world go round,' I am sure this book will open up more about this phrase. You know there are different types of love, you just need to find the right one. Like the book's blurb says, 'whether it is a distant lover or someone you see every day but can’t confess to; whether it is a love that grows silently or a love that’s not acceptable by society; whether it is a love that will never be yours or a love that is pure and untainted by jealousy-love will always find a way to survive, to make life more beautiful, more liveable.'
Escape into the world of love with this super romantic collection of love stories. I am sure this book will leave your heart fluttering.

'Love makes the world go round!'

You Are All I Need by Ravinder Singh is like a little box of happiness. It consists of twenty-six short stories that are all about love and companionship. All these stories are beautifully written. It's not easy to create realistic, character driven love stories. Most people can't even manage to get it right in full fledged novels but this book is an exception. A beautiful collection of love stories for all the hopeless romantics out there.

Love is love!!

I was a bit skeptical about starting when I started this. And then I was glad that I started this, as there were some gems that made me go back in time, bring back the waves of nostalgia, forgotten what-ifs along with the heartbreaks.

Some of my favorites that made me find myself, and made me enjoy the beauty of love includes,
1. A Brief Reunion... Dayal Punjabi (love, love, love)
2. The Doors of the Closet Are Now Open... Sai Nithin (Simple Wonders of reminiscence)
3. Untold Affection... Aarthika Mathialagan (Young love, reminded me of the innocence of it all)
4. I'm No Good Human... Mohammed Afroz (Umm, is this a play about us?)
5. Beyond Right and Wrong... Supreet Kaur (Rumi can never go wrong)
6. Once Upon a Love... Suranya Sengupta (Something soothing and yearning about the simplicity of love of a forever kind.)
7. Flare... Mariam Rashid (Love, in its essence)
8. The Other Side of the Road... Hamsini R (here comes the what ifs I mentioned above.)
9. Arjun... Maria K.Jimmy (the burning embers)

Misc Mentions:
25. Love in the times of Marriage... Aparajita Shisoo
26. Love is coming soon... Kiran Wingkar

I'm not gonna dwell on the disconcerting notions or outdated ideologies that were sprinkled here and there, and rather focus on the wonders that's brought upon by Love!

Get yourself a copy, whenever you can!

Ps. I found it kinda, well somewhat, or a whole lot of uncomfortable while reading this one story in which a 'shrink' asking his former patient out on a date. That's highly unethical and if anyone find yourself in any such positions, please self reflect and be mindful of your actions.

You are all I need is an anthology of short love stories with is edited by Ravinder Singh in collaboration with Romedy Now.

I have always loved watching Romedy Now and I myself am a truly believer of Love. Even though I haven't read much of Romance but on screen I have always looked for Romantic-comedy genres when my mood is low and that's when Romedy Now comes into action.

This book is a sweet and a light read. It consists of total 25 stories, most of them will touch your heart deeply and some are those which won't leave an impact on you but will surely be a pleasant read. The stories range on a large scale covering up most of the realities of the on going generation and even the earlier generation too.

It is truly said that love never sees colour, caste, religion and gender and every love depicted herein had their own unique element.

The story which touched me the most was Flare written by Mariam Rashid.

Love is just - Love.

Every heart coming to the masjid is not pure and ever heart beating in a brothel is not filthy.

Not an Awesome Read. But an okay read to pass time. The short stories aren't that heart touching except for a couple. In some stories there is a lot of description than expected ot needed. Over all I expected more having the author in mind!!!
