My review and rating is for all three books in the series. As an RH this failed badly for me because the three guys took so long to pull together. Two of them, Zeke and Jaxon, are twin brothers but at odds with each other. Zeke wants Jaxon's territory and is unhappy because Jaxon is alpha of their old pack. He challenged Jaxon and lost, but since Jaxon allowed him to live, he left and formed his own pack -- but he's always scheming for revenge on his brother.

The revenge motive felt so juvenile that it was hard to take him seriously. Meanwhile, Jaxon is attracted to Del, our succubus, but keeps pushing her away because he believes that as alpha, he can only mate with another wolf, he has to keep bloodlines strong, make his pack happy. Plus, he distrusts Del. I didn't like how he made assumptions about Del just because she's a demon. He never thought that she might have been brought to Earth against her will -- after all, she was summoned via a spell. He was so judgmental and contemptuous.

So, did I want either Zeke or Jaxon to be Del's mates? No, I did not. Cooper was cool and I liked him with Del. He really saw her for who she was and accepted her as she was. Zeke wanted to use Del to compel his brother so that he could take over his brother's pack. Did I want such a vengeful person, someone who would go against his brother even though his brother had been merciful to him, to be one of Del's mates? No, of course not.

I liked that Del has her friend Tarzi on her side and is protective of her younger sister. Del isn't a typical succubus and I also liked that she was careful about "feeding" from men, that she didn't want to just use them. The larger plot was interesting and carefully woven, but I just didn't like that the men were enemies. First Zeke captures Jaxon, then Jaxon captures Zeke... putting them in shackles and so on. I like RH because the FMC is always the centre of everything, and the men usually play nicely with each other for her sake. But here, it didn't feel like Del was the centre. She really felt like a side issue altogether as the two brothers battled it out. Really fail in the romance department.

When you first think of a succubus, you don't normally picture one that is completely bored and unhappy with her situation, powers, or species. Whoever thought it would be possible for succubus to want more than just lust and pleasure, the literal food for her soul? Is it bad to want to experience something real, something not in reaction to her thrall, but instead from true desire? According to Des, feeling and experiencing love is impossible for a succubus...or is it? Turns out the universe had other plans for her, in epic proportions and in the form of three werewolves who aren't susceptible to her powers. Des is such an interesting character, and I'm excited to see her be able to develop feelings in an organic way and be able to connect to someone on a different level than she is used to. I'm not sure what to think of two out of the three werewolves that she was introduced to in this first book. Connor is amazing. I love how he is with Des, even while she is a prisoner of his pack. There is sexual tension but also communication going on. They talk about real things, life, dreams, etc. I have high hopes for them. Zeke and Jaxon have a lot to work through in order to even stand a chance in my eyes. If they can't get over the past and be able to work together instead of against each other, things will never work out with the overall group. Pack hierarchy and war are difficult obstacles to overcome, so we'll see what happens! I think the real problem is going to be that sorcerer, Gabriel. He's up to some shady business and he seems to know more than he is letting on. But I'm glad he didn't see that amazing twist coming with Des having additional powers from her unknown parent. It is a game changer for sure and adds a fun element to the story as well. And now there is also a possibility of more for Des and her future, a possibility to love and be loved.

This book was hell, in all the best ways. Our FMC, Del, is a succubus fighting her own nature in the pits of Hell when shes summoned to Earth. She didnt know Earth still had magic until she meets the men responsible for her summons. Three alpha werewolves, oh and shes been dreaming about them for a while, even though shes never met them. Now shes gotta get back to Hell to help her sister but shes stuck in the middle of a sibling rivalry. Good this shes got one gorgeous shifter on her side.

This book had me from the get go. I love how our FMC fights her nature, wants more from life, and is trying to raise her little sister the same. I love the complexity of Cooper and the twins relationship pre and post Del. The "physical" interactions are there pretty quick between Del, Cooper, and Z. And theres attraction between Del and Jax too. But I cant lie, Coop is my favorite. I love the build on the relationship with him. I'm looking forward to seeing it bloom between Del and the twins and to seeing the outcome of Coopers decision in the end. This book was just everything I needed and expected, and more.

A reverse harem with a succubus and a pack of werewolves, sounds interesting! The story revolves around Del, a succubus from Hell, and some werewolves. The set of twins are at war with each other because even though one won the right to be Alpha, the other one lets his pride get in the way. He uses magic to overthrow his brother. Then there is Cooper, a werewolf who is at odds being in the middle of two of his best friends. He and Jaxon are my favorites right now, I hope Zeke wakes up at some point, because his chemistry with Del is off the charts!

I have mixed feelings. I like where the story is headed, but it is taking a while for the story to unfold. The steam factor is a ten though!

This book follows Del a succubus and three werewolves Jaxon, Cooper and Zeke. And the various supporting characters...I really love the relationship that is developing between Del and Cooper! This book is a first in the series so it had alot of set up of the characters, but it didn't effect the story for me at all! There was plenty of steam and interesting interactions between the main characters to make this a great start to a series and me wanting more! It ends on a cliffhanger..which is becoming a normal thing in series books so I am getting used to it lol... can't wait for the next one!!

What a unique story that I absolutely loved! A succubus and werewolves! Best of both worlds! The storyline was well detailed and planned out. It really shows with the writing that these authors can write and know just how to create an amazing world you won't want to leave. There's action and suspense, making this story incredibly and deliciously unpredictable. Del is an exciting character and those men are just fabulous. I couldn't put the book down and now I'll be eagerly waiting for book two! Loved it!

Four stars!

This would have been five stars except for the cliffhanger ending. That being said, this was a great story! Having a demon and werewolves was an interesting twist. I am looking forward to the next story.

I love wolf shifters and hellhounds. I also love reverse harem romance.
This story was interesting. I really like the idea of a succubus being summoned from hell to earth and falling into wolf shifter issues/politics/war. It really has potential. Though, to be honest, it felt a bit flat; considering how much I was looking forward to this.
The twin brothers are...not very likeable. Cooper is the only guy in the story that I feel even deserves attention in a romantic way. There was a scene that involved her and Cooper and Dax (one of the twin alpha's), which I understand because she is a succubus and gains her energy that way; however, it left me with an odd feeling. I know this is meant to be reverse harem, but it really feels like she's only meant to end up with Cooper. I just can't see Dax being redeemed enough to be brought into the group.
I am still hopeful and optimistic about this series and will read the next one. Though, I think it's more out of curiosity than actual enjoyment.

WOW, this book from the moment that I started reading I was hooked. It moves along at a great pace, making for an enjoyable read. You will fall in love with the characters, especially a certain 3 and the story keeps you reading and turning pages till you reach then end and then you need more. This book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

Another great book from Cali Mann and Freya Black. The one mistake I made was starting the book at 11 p.m. thinking I would get started and finish it in the next day. Yeah that didn't happen I should have known better, I could not put it down. Love the story line which is unique, like the characters, they all have different, distinct personalities and love the MC she is great. I cannot wait until the next book comes out. Another winner.

2.5 stars. I don’t really understand how this book got really good reviews. But I found the book kinda bland and uninteresting. I got up to 75% then I just skipped to the end. It just wasn’t holding my interest.

I loved the mix of demons and weres with the succubus and the wolves. This was a really good story though the cliffhanger ending definitely makes me want to scream a bit. I seriously need the next book! But this book was still very enjoyable if at times a little bit here and there. Over all a good book with a plot that I want to know where it is going in the end. Good start and definitely has me wanting to know more!

A reverse harem with a succubus, hellhound, and a pack of werewolves? Well, why not? This was a short read, but it was also a great story! Having a demon and werewolves was an interesting twist. This book is very fast-paced, and the characters were distinct, and you can follow them all. I liked both Del and Cooper, I thought they were really cute with each other and even though there weren't too many steamy bits to the book, I really can't complain about what was there. The ending doesn't necessary end on a cliffhanger, but it gives you a little bit of what is going to happen next feeling. I am looking forward to the next story.

Concept is cool
Easy read
But the dudes are SUPER unlikable.
And there not charming arseholes or misunderstood or anything redeemable - theyre shitbags.

Not necessarily in a dark and depraved trigger warning sorta way but still gross like worse than fuckboys and dudebros and just ugh no self respecting female let alone a fucking succubus would like them mate or not.

So yeah i might read the second book because it was mildly enjoyable and an easy read but i find myself frustrated with the lack of romance and even the 'villian' when its not the dudes in question but the slimy dark arts douche really puts me off. I mean why them ill never understand. Its like ah yes lets pick the most desirable demon female and pair her up with the worst sort of guys. Toxic controlling man whores who dont need sex to live who dont value women who have violent environments with fuck all to show for it besides some 'magic mountain' and campfires and booze. Like do they even have jobs like ive read a lot of shifter stuff but like good gods the world building in this is soooo shit. & THERES TWO WORLDS. so its doubly bad. I mean christ its like 3 dudes one of which is tolerable but theyre pretty much just flaws and shallow and like you know really duck all about them or their packs or their world even the town which is featured you know fuck all about i mean... what are their hobbies huh? Was their any actual conversation? The best way to describe this book is that it felt like a novella stretched into a book or rather a standalone thats unnecessarily been split into parts to be annoyingly released every couple of weeks only to later be put into one book which it shouldve been in the first place.

Yeah.

So i liked parts mostly the concept hell was somewhat interesting or rather the idea of it... but again world building was completely lacking or just god awful but it was easy and quick and i felt like a demon rh and it was there basically.

This is like the book equivalent of eating mindlessly when your bored then being surprised your not satisfied with the random remnants you scrapped together lazily instead of making something that would actually satisfy and noirish you and be of some substance.

So really i partially have myself to blame and if i had the ability to do so or rather if my curiosity would let me i wouldve put he book down once the arsehole trinity were confirmed as her mates but alas here we are.

Sadly the best parts dont get a lot of 'screen' time. And well thats a damn shame.

Well its 1am and ill never get that time back but im giving it a first book free pass in the hopes that shit will turn to chocolate next book... snowballs chance in hell but still.

Interesting read. I enjoyed it

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It is interesting and different with the shifter and demon aspects being mixed together. I liked Del, Cooper and Jaxson but Zeke has some work to do for sure. Jackson has some as well but not near what Zeke does. This story pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention the whole time. It is going to be interesting to see what happens next. Cooper has been caught between the two brothers and now that Del is around and caught in the middle as well, he is coming into a more confident serious side. I’m excited for the next book in the series.

This is book one of the series, it doesn't end on a cliffhanger but the story definitely continues in book 2.

Del is a succubus, but is unhappy with the lifestyle and struggling to keep her sister away from their mothers lifestyle.

Zeke and Jason are twins who can't play nice with each other and Cooper is their best friend, torn between the fighting brothers.
Zeke plans to use a demon to help him defeat his brother, but things don't exactly go to plan.

Del was interesting, she was torn about her lifestyle with no way of making any changes, but also wasn't embarrassed about what she needed to do for power. She was brave but sensible, not playing the damsel in distress but fighting for what she wanted.

I wanted to bang Zeke and Jason's heads together as they acted like school kids. Cooper had the staring role in this book.

I enjoyed the storyline and the way that he world building was portrayed was interesting and not overly complicated to understand.

I'm looking forward to book 2.

For what it was, I found this book to be pretty good. The writing was easy to follow and devoid of any obvious typos or issues. The book was fast-paced, and the characters were distinct. I liked both Del and Cooper, and although there weren't many steamy bits to the book, I can't complain about what was there.

My major issue with the book was how short it was. This was a super speedy read, and so there wasn't a lot of tension built up in the relationships or the different plot points It was very obviously geared to be part of a larger series, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think the authors leaned a little too heavily into that knowledge, and it meant cutting a lot of meat out of the story. It just felt like there wasn't a lot here.

Overall, I liked the book. I was entertained, I liked the main couple, I hated some of the characters with a fiery passion, and the writing wasn't bad. Could it have been better? Yes. Definitely - but for what it was, I had fun reading it. I just wish there was a little more to it.

I know she’s from Hell, but her standards are literally just consent from her partners. It’s a new fun concept to her, similar to someone’s reaction after learning they’d been wearing thongs backwards their whole life – it still rubs you the wrong way.

Also, she had one of the awful male love interests and his ~moderately okay yet cowardly~ friend, tag team her as, like, an icebreaker.
They plug both her holes, as if she’s a rapidly sinking raft taking on water, upon!! first!! meeting!! She is then astounded by their lack of loyalty to her after.
Have to say, DP sex fest in the coat room nest isn’t a meet-cute I’ve encountered yet.

I’ve read ‘reluctant succubus’ trope books before that were endearing and dealt with a proportionate amount of spice along with character development where the men see her for who she is – the what she is, is just a perk rather than a curse.

But apparently hypnotizing the town’s populous of men into an orgy before the love interests arrive and decide they might as well get a piece of her, too, was just off-putting.

DNF - quit at 37%
This flowed so slowly, and there seemed to be a lot of details put into things about the story that just weren't needed, causing me to lose interest. There's really no world building with this story which left me confused at times. I really have to like some of the characters in order to care about the story. I didn't like any of the guys that I assume will be in her RH, or her for that matter. It's hard to want to continue reading about characters I just don't care about.

At my age (approaching 60), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
