The Centrum Trilogy #1

The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe

Rate this book
Rejected. Cast out. On the run.

Amarli Wolfe hides in the human world. Barely surviving, after shutting down her wolf and cutting all ties with the supernatural world.

One touch changes everything. Not just for her.

Dorian, the Alpha of the Daniels Pack will kill to protect his son. Grady and Kerston, his loyal and dangerous betas. The pack made it painfully obvious that Amarli is not welcome.

One drop of blood heralds change. Many will answer. More are coming. Fated or not, they will gather.

Her Shield is her first. To protect her and her body.

Amarli will become what was written in the stars. Will her fated mates?

Tears will fall, lives will be at risk and hearts will be broken.

The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe is book one in the Centrum Trilogy. This is a paranormal, reverse harem, adult read, unsurprisingly, book 1, ends in a cliffhanger. **RE-edited and RE-formatted May 2021**

This book is ridiculous. I actually liked the first few chapters, then things went down hill fast.

Examples: There is a lot of emotional and physical abuse towards Amarli with no reason behind it and then that's instantly replaced with explicit sex scenes between Amrali and her abusers. Amarli is adamant that she wants NOTHING to do with shifters. NOTHING. She gets the crap kicked out of her by the wolves whos territory she is in, JUST for being in their territory and them not knowing. Then by magic, one of them has a huge change of heart after he bites her and tastes her blood because you know they are fated mates now and even though she tells him no and talks about never being with a wolf, she is all of a sudden horny after him and his packmates pretty much kidnap her and she lets him finger her into orgasm. BUT that isn't all. The alpha SLAPS her because she 'put his son in danger' when the ONLY interaction she has had with the son is helping him on the bus when he was getting sick. Not enough examples? The other beta in the pack HATES her with a passion for no particular reason and makes it known every time he sees her, but that's ok, because as soon as she shifts and beats another packmate or two she must have a magical vagina because all of a sudden both the alpha and the beta MUST have her and they precede to having a threesome (followed by some more emotional abuse).

If that isn't bad enough, there are dumb info dumps with no explanations or dumb explanations like Amarli having two moms who mixed their eggs together to make her with her dad and no one knew because it was done in some super secret lab they mysteriously had that no one knew about. That information is immediately followed by Amarli getting hit with a magical book tattoo that makes her a super special she wolf where all the males want to jump her bones.

Needless to say, I won't be reading more from this series.

I would like a refund of my time

The author made some bewildering choices regarding the characters and story of this book.

There is a lot of explicit sex featuring multiple partners. All of the male characters are significantly older than the female protagonist and the majority of the men violently physically attack her before they have sex and verbally abuse her after they have sex. One of the men literally walks up to Armalite and slaps her across the face. He then has to be physically stopped from doing it again. He prevents her from having access to food or shelter and tells her that she has to pay off her debts to him by s_[{ing his d*ck. Classy.

Once Armalite is beaten up a few times and forced to sleep outside in the woods, the author transitions the book into a fantasy about how Armalite is a magician-shifter with a “book tattoo” that makes her the most powerful person in the world. She’s able to conjure up a magical house and magic clothes and is now the supreme ruler of all of wolfdom.

The plot reads like the author used to write short stories using reddit theme challenges, then decided to cobble the stories together into a book format and sell it on Amazon. It would have been a gift to potential readers if she had used an editor to help shape the different ideas into a cohesive story that made any kind of sense. I think that part I found most hilarious is that there are multiple interludes of old-timey handwritten letters that the author felt were important to include, then had the characters discuss the content of the letters because Armalite never received or read the letters.

Wow

What can I say? This is the best book I have read in ages, absolutely loved it. I read it in one go! Great storyline, well rounded characters. This book sucks you in from the start, full of emotion. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, probably the best shifter book/ paranormal I have read. Hope the others in this series are as good.

Page turner

I couldn't put this book down. So much is going on after the first third of the book. The author builds a complex world that is interesting. The romance is medium to fast burn. I look forward to the next book.

3.5 stars for that ending

The ending was a non ending things just started getting going and BAM the end, when it didn’t seem like a stopping place at all. The book is well written and intriguing but I still don’t feel like I completely understand it. Once this magical event happens I feel like I’m reading a completely different book. I also can’t understand why Amarli didn’t tell Dorian why she refused to shift, I get she didn’t want to expose herself exactly, but why not just say I don’t shift? She never explained what happened to her, and then she’s in bed with a bunch of the guys, which fine but it seems somewhat out of place due to the events of the story plus some of the emotions that were displayed to her.

I do like the guys but again all of a sudden Grady wasn’t a jerk, he suddenly cared. That about face needs to be explained.

Definitely a cliffhanger ending but I am invested.

Holy cliffhanger Batman!

The ending. I cannot get over the ending! I’m a mess! The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe tore my heart out and I won’t feel better until Book two is in my greedy paws! *Cries* How could Lucy Scott Bryan do that to us! Cruelty to readers!, that’s what that was.

Lordy now that I’ve gotten my dramatics out of the way (trust me, it was warranted, that ending killed me) let’s talk about the rest of this book! As always Lucy doesn’t hold any punches and immediately has us balling our eyes out within the first few chapters. Seriously, Lucy goes for the kill every freaking time and I still haven’t learned to expect it! As the blurb and title tell you poor Amarli is rejected by her mate, who by the way is the biggest jerk known to man so good riddance, bye bye filthy jerk. Unfortunately this basically ruins Amarli and she’s left a shell of who she once was. It honestly broke me to see how much the rejection impacted her self esteem. She was meant for so much more tho!

Which is where her new mates come in! I have an almost definite feeling that I know who the other two males are Amarli will be adding to her harem and let me just say YUMMY! Her men are the best thing that’s ever happened to her after the rejection. They essentially are what led her to finding out the truth about who she really is. Even I couldn’t have foreseen that twist coming!

The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe left me with so many questions and I LOVED it! I’ll be on pins and needles waiting for book two!

Holy Crapola!!!!!

I love this novel. I need more of it. Book 2 should be coming out soon. I hope!!!!!! This was a very good novel. Plot line was great. I cried with a few tears at the beginning of the book. The book will pull you into the world with great world building but there is some things that were confusing. That should be fix in book 2 when it comes out.

Amarli was a well written character of truly love her. Grady was very moody to me when we meet him. But he grew on me on this. Dorian really pissed me off at him. He is mated or not? Then what he had/has done was called cheating on his mate and i hate him for it. If he is one of her mates ....then he will have to be doing something in a big redemption for me to like him.

Kerston was very friendly when he meet him and he was also a great character, i wish we seen more of him in the book. Then he brother Cam was okay to me as well. Reginn....he was different to me. I want to know about him more.

The twists just came on fast and to me sometimes expected and sometimes unexpected. It was well thought of with this book.

The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe starts off with a gut punch right to the feels and it doesn't slow down from there! Amarli leaves her shifter pack under less than desirable circumstances at the very start of this book. Her life continues to be turned upside down when she discovers that she is the "Centrum" and not only does she have a fated mate, but several! I absolutely loved the characters in this story. It is a gripping pnr story full of heartbreak, love and loss. It is ultimately a story about hope and redemption. It ends in a pretty big cliffhanger, so fair warning on that front!

So freaking amazing

Omg that ending has left me on edge wowzer. It has totally blown me away!
In this book we meet Amarli as she is about to become the mate of the future Alpha of her pack. When things take on a nasty twist and she is forced out of the pack. She lives life as a human after forcing her wolf down until one day a little boy changes everything for her.
When attacked by wolves she finds herself in hospital with Kerston who insists she is his. To her then meeting Dorian the packs Alpha and the other Beta Grady. Things take on so many twists from here to end the book in such a shocking and unexpected way to leave you devastatingly needing to know more. Cant wait for book two

😍😍😍😍

OMMFG I'm in love with this book and am so glad this will be a series!! That ending was cruel lol. Now I really need to know what happens next and who is about to get their butts destroyed. Love our MC she has definitely had a rollercoaster of a life and thing's are just getting crazier/better. I like her men and was wondering if maybe there could be multiples of the 4 , or if all 3 wolves will fill the roles?? Kinda hoping for a variety, but really looking forward to what is to come. Cannot wait!!!!

What a start

This is book one within a trilogy and I am absolutely in love with this world. Amarli was rejected by her mate, cast out of her pack and decides to live as a human for four years. Then one touch changes her entire world and she finds she's more than even she was aware of. As she tries to come to terms with her new world, tragedy strikes and we are left wondering what has happened and what will happen next. I can't wait for the next book.

Blue robes....

When I say this amazing, that is a big understatement! This rejected mates book takes you on so many twists and turns. You think you know what's gonna happen but then it takes you down another path. The build up and that ending have me on the edge waiting to see where Amarli's journey takes her and without spoilers... who did that in the end?? Ahhhhhh..... don't pass this one up.

The story sucks you in and lets you take you time getting to know this characters that are so well written that they jump off the page and become a part of you, fully immersing you into a story they are dying to tell. I can't wait to read book 2.

This is a fantastic read. If you like paranormal reverse harem that all starts with the mate bond being rejected. This is the book for you.

Amarli is a great main character and your heart will literally break in sympathy of her pain.

I won't spoil who's in her harem by the end of book one but they are extra hot!

My only real issue with the book is that the last 30% of it just kind of dragged for me, personally.

The cliffhanger, though, made me regret reading it before the series is completed or at least book two was out.

First from this author.

Wow. I was hesitant about getting this book because of the cliffhanger and no date for the second one. But... Wow. This is an awesome coming of age story. The way the author handled the knock downs actually brought tears. The pick ups were simply "right" , as if "oh yeah, that's exactly what should happen". I am now following for immediate notice of the sequel.

Amarli is rejected by her mate, at their mating ceremony, then rejected by her pack! What a day! She then decides to live her life as a human, she does this for years, until that one accidental touch changes everything!

This is a fantastic read, I loved it! I loved the uniqueness of the story and the amazing characters. I seriously could not put it down! Definitely a page turner! And that cliffhanger, wow! I cannot wait to read book two!

Pnr wolf shifter RH

PNR Wolf shifter RH

Rejected by her mate and cast out from her pack, Amarli wants nothing to do with her wolf. After a chance encounter with a young shifter at the camp she works at reveals she’s been trespassing on pack lands without permission from the Alpha she soon finds herself forced back in to pack life she never wanted but was always destined for.

It ends on a cliff and luckily book 2 is already out so I can jump straight back in.

Amarli is my current favorite FMC

This book is a medium burn RH that leaves you devouring it page by page. Amarli's struggles are so heartfelt. The author truly makes you feel for her. The emotions and heat in this book are out of this world. Lucy Scott Bryan you have created a monster. I cannot wait for book 2! This book is absolutely spellbinding

Awesome

I really absolutely love this concept and story! Amarli is so strong and absolutely brave, and her mates astounding. And the smexy times, yeesh! They were great! It would have been five stars except it needs another round of editing to smooth it down a little more. I look forward to the rest of the series!

The Rejection of Amarli wolfe

New series, new author for me. It starts right off tearing up my heart and keeps me teary eyed for about half of the book. Its steeped in magic and mysticism. I loved it. How close her family is despite the physical distance. Onward to the next book because I am chomping at the bit!

Book one of Three

Excellent read. I could not put this book down. It was a fun and exciting book. I hope the remaining two are just as good.
So different. I wish there were more books written that were full of adventure like this one was.
Oh sure, adult romance books are all the rage but this one was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend it.
