Belle has an addiction to reading, notebooks, coloured pens and mint chocolate. She lives in the beautiful Australian bush, surrounded by wildlife and the smell of eucalyptus trees. She also has a strong love for all 60’s music, believes she was born in the wrong era and should have been at Woodstock. I devoured this book in one sitting. The author hooked me in book one with the trials and dangers that this group of post apocalyptic survivors have to endure every day. This one had plenty of action to have you flipping through the pages. One of the things I loved is that you get the heat you love from a reverse harem read (and there's plenty of heat) but you also get plenty of feelings in this one and a great storyline too. I'll be keeping an eye out for more stories from her and definitely recommend.
This post apocalyptic story has literally drawn me in. The chemistry between Nova and her guys is off the charts!! There were moments that just broke my heart and then slowly put the pieces back together in a series of beautifully crafted moments. Thank you for taking me on this journey!! Def recommend!
2 stars. I picked up book 2 because I was invested enough to want to know if they would make it to eden. I don’t regret the time spent reading but my interest in these characters was wearing very thin by the end. Again Nova is not my favourite heroine. I liked her less in this story because she became more whiny and often juvenile. She just came across as a characterization of a real person. Not natural. There were to many men to keep up with (6 if you are wondering). Also what stood out to me more in this book, but was also present in the first book, was the choppy writing style. Dialogues were very unnatural and did not flow easily. It was weird reading it, almost like a bad actor saying his lines. Again, editing was sorely missing. Not a fan and leaving it here.
I really liked this duo but had to struggle through them. First off the 1st book didn't connect well with the 2nd book time wise. It felt like a bunch of important information was just jumped over. She's kidnapped then boom she's free.
Secondly, there are numerous grammar and spelling errors, incorrect words and other writing mistakes. I really had to push myself to finish the books. The story was just too good to give up on. An editor could really help get the mistakes under control.
Overall, if the technical issues were corrected I would have given 4 stars.
The story was good and had a lot of diverse characters which I like. My biggest complaint would be so many typos. It doesn't always take away from a story, but it can. I realize that authors are publishing themselves these days, but please double check your spelling or word that is used in a sentence to be sure it makes sense to the reader.
Nova and her harem finally make it to Eden. It's everything they hoped for. This book is all about rebuilding and survival. It is a beautiful beginning to the rest of Nova and her family's life. Even in a world of chaos , you can have the HEA that you dream of ,as long as you don't give up hope.
I love reverse harem and this one hit the spot. Nova and her men will make ya hot! I was intrigued the whole time reading this story and read it straight through. The chemistry is overflowing and even with there situation it all ended so perfectly! Great sexy read. 5/5 stars
This is a great second installment to this series. The group suffers a lot of tough times but there is a lot of good too. I'm looking forward to more from this author.
