This is a fine enough cookbook and I’d honestly make 90% of these recipes. My biggest issue is that I would have thought this would be 100% Trader Joe’s. I know not every recipe will have 10 fun, distinct TJ’s items, but there were a few without any TJ-specific products (example: there are cocktails and strawberry rhubarb donuts without any TJ’s rhubarb jam or something to make it an actual Trader Joe’s-centered recipe with a featured item). Additionally, Trader Joe’s has a lot of fun products and sometimes doesn’t have basic groceries - aka you can’t do 100% of your shopping there. It would have made more sense to me for these recipes to ONLY have items you *could* get at Trader Joe’s. Like I don’t think they sell buttermilk so I wouldn’t want that in a recipe here? I don’t have a problem with it being self-published but I wanted a little more polish in some spots. Yes, I’m definitely overanalyzing a cookbook. It’s fine.

Super fun way of making all the great TJ's items into something more. Just a couple of issues that I discovered – first, I read the Kindle edition and found quite a few typos and missing information. Kind of a big deal for a cookbook! Second, many of the recipes call for using an air fryer, so it's pretty limiting for those of us that don't have one. Finally, not the healthiest recipes in the world ... but again, still fun.

Kelsey Lynch also has an amazing Instagram page where she rates every single TJ's item on the shelves. That's how I learned about the cookbook. Her page is a must-follow!

I live a few blocks from a Trader Joe’s so I had to check this out. Oddly, the least helpful chapter for me was mains. I thought the breakfast chapter had some creative casseroles, and the drinks chapter was the strongest- lots of creative summery boat drinks. There are photos for most recipes. I wish the book was longer.

Great ideas

Great ideas but as a cookbook needs some editing. Great pictures for many of the items, some of the ingredients/instructions seem out of order so it’s unclear if you’re supposed to use more or not
