Useful to maximize Zoom teaching and learning

I enjoyed this book and got more out of it than I thought I would. I use Zoom regularly for teaching (both formal and informal settings). Using Zoom is not natural but also user friendly for most people. The ideas in this book will certainly enhance how I use Zoom as a teaching tool.

Very Timely and Immediately Useful

This book was exactly what I needed at the most crucial moment in course prep.

It offers practical guides for the Zoom tool, but more importantly it provides pedagogical tips for getting the most out of the virtual classroom.

If you are thinking:
“it’s too close to the start of the semester for this book to be helpful.”
Give a second thought. Within the first few chapters you’ll find something you can immediately implement and by the end of the book you’ll have an array of options to improve the virtual classroom experience—even while you are in the new semester’s fray!

I bought the book to help with my Zoom presentations, largely for single library presentations. The book is more geared to teachers of course, and a good deal of the book deals with breakout groups, which is not something I do in my lectures. So, although the content didn't aid me much, for those who teach classes it is certainly worthwhile.
