A Yi is a Chinese writer living in Beijing. He worked as a police officer before becoming editor-in-chief of Chutzpah. He is the author of two collections of short stories and has published fiction in Granta and the Guardian. In 2010 he was shortlisted for the People’s Literature Top 20 Literary Giants of the Future.

"A bird, saw me", published in 2010. It is a collection of short stories, and almost every story recorded in it is about a murder case.

A Yi, formerly known as Ai Guozhu. Born in Rui Chang, Jiangxi in 1976. He has worked as a policeman, sports editor, and literary editor. Representative works: "A bird, saw me", "Below, what should I do", etc.

"Detective Conan" is a Japanese anime I loved when I was a kid. The complicated and cumbersome killing skills in the story are impressive. Clever criminal methods and criminal motives that are worth sympathy should also exist in reality. But for most murderers, I think the motives and means of committing crimes may be extremely ordinary. This is the real world of ordinary people.

Li Jixi is just a rebellious peasant worker. He was carrying the 3,000 yuan he had received for his life, and he was uneasy on the train, afraid of being snatched. His grievances, weakness, and panic are intertwined, like a gunpowder barrel that is getting more and more compact. The local Zhao Facai in the Hongwu County contempt him. In the usual, Li Jixi may usually keep silent. But on a rainy night, he broke out completely, killing six people in a row with a fruit knife stolen from the supermarket.

喜欢《情人节爆炸案》，算是唯一一个和推理有点关系的故事。

写得很好的小镇怪谈，一个炸裂的壳里糅合了很多世纪初看故事会里的那种怪故事。多角度叙事可以像鲁班锁一样把故事扣成一体，需要足够功夫塑造叙述人的第一人称形象和第三人称形象，大部分故事写的技巧很好，但有时也觉得技巧性大于内涵意味了，最喜欢第一篇意外杀人事件
