Lost Fae #1

Wandering Queen

Rate this book
One minute, I’m just an innocent, brave, beautiful young woman chasing down an evil vampire. The next, three sexy Fae jerks abduct me from my life of slaying vamps and saving puppies.

Okay, okay. I’m not particularly innocent. The beautiful part is really dependent on the lighting. And some people say ‘brave’, some people say ‘stupid’. Whatcha gonna do? Everybody’s got haters, even the toughest Hunter in Washington, D.C.

I’ve got amnesia, and my memories all begin five years ago. So I don’t remember these cocky Fae princes, with the smoldering eyes and painfully good looks.

But they definitely remember me. They say I’m the true heir to the throne. But these sexy jerks are hiding some kind of secret from me. There’s trouble back in Faerieland (They hate it when I say that).

Someone stole my tiara right off my head, erased my memories and shoved me through the portal to your world. And it’s time for me to find out why, with these powerful Fae males by my side—no matter how unhappy we are to be stuck together.

Scroll up and download now to escape into the Fae world with Alisa and the Fae princes, her new reluctant besties.

Another book where I wished things had gone differently.

The heroine has amnesia, shes tried to find clues to what and who she is to no avail.

The heroes find her and tell her they know who she is and she has to come with them to faere and they will let her know who she is.

The heroine is rightly wary, from what the heroes told her someone deliberately took her memory , why would she go to the same place when she can just stay on earth.

The heroes insist she has to come to Faere because she is a Princess and she is needed to be Queen.

The heroine doesn't want to and when the heroes tell her they know her she asks for information about herself, they refuse.

The heroes then drag her all the way to Faere and she is thrust in a world that she doesn't remember. The heroes don't tell her anything even though she begs for knowledge to face several gatherings.

I just didn't like the heroes tbh. I know she might have done something bad to them, something which I'm pretty sure was all a big misunderstanding from what had been subtly implied. I just cannot reconcile with the fact that the heroes dragged her from the home she had made for herself and took her somewhere else to flounder around.

Even with my poor rating I am tempted to read the next book only because there seem to be a lot of the series out and I'm on a RH binge lately. Hopefully the next book delivers.

Bully romance?

Well this was a disappointment. The blurb sounded interesting, Far queen who's lost her memory, with three knights coming to rescue he and take her back to faerie to regain her memories. Interesting right? What was so annoying about this book is that the guys are mostly unlikable. It's a hey come back to faerie your people need you and we will give you your memories. They have absolutely no idea how to get her memories, they don't even tell her anything about herself and her world, they kinda just let her founder about. We don't even get an inkling until after 90 percent of the book, despite numerous flashbacks why they hate her, and even then it's not concrete and could be a mistake. The book doesn't end on a super cliffie and yet not a single thing was specifically spelled out or resolved. I feel as if I need the last three hours of my life back.

2.5 stars, rounded down because I stared at the blurb for multiple minutes without having ANY recollection of what had happened in the plot.

My brain has now kicked back into gear and I am actually remembering bits and pieces of what happened. I used to really like Dawson, but then for a spell I had to DNF all her books because they just weren't gripping me. The good news is I actually finished this one and it wasn't bad.

The bad news is it wasn't great either. A quick and adequate RH read with well-flowing prose, but ill-defined heroes, and there's a good chance I won't continue.

Am I judging this book harshly because I just finished reading an amazing book and it didn’t measure up? Probably. Am I still going to finish reading the series because mama didn’t raise a quitter? Also yes.

Complaints:
- Grammar. Honestly I’m not one to really complain too much about the random missing punctuation or word misspelling because my brain generally fixes it and I don’t even notice it. So when it’s glaringly obvious to me that there’s many mistakes, it’s above average. Even some wording of phrases had me rereading them to make sure I got what they were saying.

- Random Chatter. When a character says something, I assume it’s important to the plot or developing character relationships. Way more than once these characters talked or asked questions about things that meant absolutely nothing. Or they’d be having a conversation about something important and another character would barge in and ask a question or make a comment about something stupid and off topic. When the character then states in their POV that it was meant to distract, I allow it because there’s usually a reason. This wasn’t the case. It makes the conversation disjointed and it really bugged the hell out of me.

- Relationships. I’m seriously having a hard time buying the relationships the FMC has with these guys 🤦🏼‍♀️. Azrael and her were in love before she lost her memories, and she supposedly betrayed him (which I don’t actually believe that she did). So I get their tension and his “hate” for her while he still feels the need to protect her. Her and Duncan? I realllyyyy don’t buy it at all. Their personalities totally mesh, but this crazy hatred and mistrust he has for her is a roadblock that I don’t see them believably overcoming. Tiron is the only one I can see having a genuine relationship with her, even though it seems obvious that he’s also betraying her.

- Memory Loss. Yes it’s a beautiful plot device, but it really is used poorly in this first book *shakes head*. She doesn’t have any memory of who she is, but she remembers how to use a sword and hand to hand combat? She remembers how to ride a horse, but she doesn’t know how to fly or perform magic once the enchantment is broken on her physical appearance? Like, I get that having her be a blank slate for the whole first book would be tedious, but this is why I don’t generally like mind wiping tropes; because they only erase what is important to keep the plot moving, and keep everything that’s useful.

Pros:
- Story. Okay, despite my hatred of memory loss tropes, I’m actually intrigued with the story here. I like how the FMC is floundering around and has no idea who to trust or what to believe. Especially when she’s surrounded by all the court intrigue and secrets. Love it. Full stop.
- Harem. I may not believe 2/3 of them as being good matches for her (yet), but they’re all still moderately well developed characters and I’m excited to see more of them in the next one. Also I’m secretly hoping that she turns Raile around and makes him part of the harem. Just me? 🤷‍♀️
- Her Brother. I’m super interested to see where this storyline goes. I’m totally okay if he ends up being the evil genius behind everything, but I would LOVE to see a redemption arc where we find out he really has been enchanted all this time and inside he still totally loves and cares for the FMC.

So will I continue? Yes, because it’s not so bad that I won’t see if it turns itself around. Wish me luck!

Alisa, a fae who lost her memories, stranded on Earth (aka “the dirt side”), is struggling to reclaim her throne and righten the things she’s apparently done in the past, accompanied by 3 men, one of them her former lover. I loved this start of a new series, and I’m looking forward to reading more, even though I wasn’t completely invested in the story. The characters are complex, everyone seems to have an own agenda, and nobody is what he seems to be. It’s a slow burn, relatively tame RH, but I seem to be rooting for the “bad guy” Raile, as I feel that there’s more to his story than meets the eye. The others... Idk. Especially with Duncan, I have no idea how tha's supposed to evolve into a love-relationship, apart from him getting aroused now and then, there's no spark between them.

What annoyed me: everyone tells her what a bad person she’s been in the past, but nobody elaborates, claiming that she wouldn’t believe it anyway, leaving her to struggle alone in a world she can’t remember. I get it that it’s supposed to keep the story arc interesting, and it is. But I can’t help but feel sorry for her and annoyed with the ones who claim to love her (or at least loved her past self).

3.5 stars, anticipating to read if she finally gets her memories back.

What a fantastic start to an epic series! I love the plot that May Dawson had come up with. It’s brilliantly executed and the world-building is phenomenal.

The main character, Alisa, is the missing summer fae princess. All her memories have been wiped and she doesn’t know anything about her past except for her name. Alisa has been living in the human world for five years. She is a hunter who hunts and kills monsters in the human world. Immediately in the beginning of the book, we meet the three faes, Azrael, Tiran, and Duncan who are tasked to bring Alisa back. Let’s just say that the plot after Alisa meets these three faes is utterly epic!

Alisa travels back to her former home, the Summer Court. There, she navigates through a series of conflicts both internal and external, including restoring her missing memories.

I definitely recommend this book to EVERYONE. It is fantastic!

4.5 rounded up:

Something evil is going down in the Summer Court and Alisa is wrapped up smack dab in the middle of it.... though she can't remember why, who or even what.

From the opening scenes of the prologue to the final pages, this book slams into the action, dropping hints, throwing lines and leading the reader on a merry journey through the unknown world of the Hunters on Earth and the Fae in Faire. Things are dangerous, mysterious and rather convoluted - and it all centers around a girl who lost her memories and landed in the Human Realm with nothing but a note and a prayer. A girl no one from her past seems to like, though everyone wants a piece of her.

Like most May Dawson novels, there are many threads interwoven in this narrative, breadcrumbs that expand the world even as the central plot is exposed. Lost memories, political intrigue, enchantments, engagements, lost love, potential heat - it's all here and it's getting more complicated by the moment. Alisa has some work to do, and I can't wait to see how it all falls out.

**I received an ARC of this novel and I am thrilled to share my honest opinion**

New read.
Audiobook; 1 female, 1 male narrator. I liked the female narrator but the male was just ok. His voice was fairly deep (which I prefer) but somehow he made the guy characters sound…. petulant and whiny.

Sigh.

It was so long, I skipped a bit. Wasn’t really in love with the characters. The amnesia thing was a little different but still somehow predictable. And by the end she still hasn’t gotten her memories back so you’ll need to read the next book to find out. I just don’t care enough about any of the characters to bother though.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Dawson has truly outdone herself this time!! This is the start to what is going to be an epic series. We meet Alisa as she wakes up with no clue who she is or where she came from with the exception of a note pinned to her with her name as well as the statement that no one is a friend. Flash forward five years and she has become an amazing monster hunter with some mad sword skills. Then three strange men arrive claiming to know her from before stating that she is fae from another world. This does not go over well but neither does her reentry into her world since it is just full of secrets as well as threats. Leads to one doozy of a cliff hanger that left me wanting more now as I was ready for the journey they are about to embark on. A fascinating world filled with in depth characters that will take your breath away as they come to life on the page. A total must read in my opinion. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Really intense read

Each page of this book pulls you in deep and leaves you with so many questions that you don't realise your at the end of the book.
The main female Alisa is such a strong and well written character and the three hot fae men are amazing too. Each guy has their own hidden reason of how the act with Alisa. And with her twin brother frae holding secrets it leaves you with so many thoughts about what's happened in her past and who stole her memories and left her in the human world.

I absolutely loved this! I loved the storyline, the characters and the world building is just incredible. Off to a great start our female mc is sassy, snarky and strong and her fae ‘jerks!’ Are hot, passionate and sexy. Full of action, danger and secrets this had me on the edge of my seat the whole read so much so that I was stunned when I reached the end! If you love a fantastic slow burn reverse harem then this is the series for you and I just cannot wait to read the next book!

Interesting blurb and start of a new series.
The hot & cold attitude of the FMC (I hate you, I love you, I trust you, I don't, etc) didn't endear me to her.

May Dawson has done it again!! Wandering Queen is a great start to a new series!

Alisa, the FMC, wakes up in the mortal realm with no memories of who she is. She runs into a group that takes her under their wing. After years of trying to figure out her past, 3 sexy men appear that may have the answers she needs but they have many of their own secrets. They all seem to have a connection with her but harbor bad feelings because of who she was.

Alisa, is taken back to the Fae world but there are so many secrets. Alisa is so tough and pushes through everything she does and
I can't wait to see if this group can reclaim the Fae world from her awful twin Faer. The people need her and by ending up in the mortal world with no memories may be what needed to change her into a compassionate woman. I can't wait to see if she can reclaim Summer Court, her people, and the hearts of her men!!

I really do adore May Dawson, her stories are always jam-packed with brilliant stories, sassy female main characters, and hot to boot men and this was no exception. The prologue finds us in a forest with the main female character, five years before the story fully begins, she remembers nothing about herself and all she has is a note reading:

Your name is Alise. You don't have friends. Don't trust anyone who claims to be one. You're quite good with a sword.

She is found by a group of Hunters and they take her under their wing and that's where she is found by three hot men claiming to be Fae from another world. This story is so well written and leaves you on the edge of the seat and wanting more. Near the end, I was wondering how exactly May was going to end it and then suddenly I found myself unable to turn the pages any longer as we were left with a major cliffhanger ending! Can't wait to delve into book two when it's out!

Where do I even start with this book?

When I picked this book up, I wasn't sure what to expect.
I hadn't read the blurb, reviews, anything about it. It was a complete mystery to me.
And a surprise one at that.
This isn't like other fae books I've read. Not in the traditional sense.

Alisa wakes up one day to find herself in the woods with no recollection of who she is or where she comes from.
All she has on her is a note with her name stating that she has no friends and that she is good with a sword.
Somehow she is able to manage within the world and carves out a life for herself as a Hunter.
Five years pass and her world is once more turned on its side.
This time with three beautiful strangers claiming she is a princess in the Fae world.
Curiosity peeked, and desperate to learn of her past, she agrees to go back with them.
But things aren't has sunshine and roses as she had hoped for things to be.

This story is told from multiple points of view. As well as getting a glimpse into the past that Alisa has no clue about.
We obviously have Alisa, the female lead character.
And Azrael, Duncan, and Tiron.
There is a fourth character that I'm low-key cheering for, but I have feeling he is just a bad guy. Even if in my heart of hearts, I hope that turns out to be untrue. LOL

The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger and I'm chomping at the bit to learn what will happen next.
It was just getting to the good parts when the last chapter ended.

I would classify this as a slow burn reverse harem.
There is a sexy scene, but it happens at the end, and with only one of the male characters.
Intentions have been made known, but nothing definitive. At least not clearly with all of them.
I think most of that is due to the uncertainty of Alisa and what her past contains.
Everyone in the Fae world has formed an opinion of her based on what she was like before, but she doesn't believe what they say of her. Doesn't believe she could change so drastically without her memories. We shall see once those are brought back to her.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it.

Really good, but not quite what I expected from the description. It’s almost a bully romance, but not much. Alisa can’t remember her fae past, or the three princes/knights sent to bring her back to the fae and her twin brother, the king. Upon arriving in the fae lands she learns that the princes all have reason to hate her and her brother wants to marry her off to the prince of the sea realm. Supposedly she was self centered, power hungry, and betrayed the men before losing her memories and disappearing from their world. When the princes are sent to find her and bring her back, they think they’ll be fine with dumping her on the King and leaving her to whatever fate becomes of her. But the person she is now isn’t who they remember and they see too much of the woman she was when they first met her and fell for her.

I’m not convinced that she was all that villainous at the end before disappearing. I think much more was going on than the men were aware of and if she did hurt them, she did it to protect them.

Hopefully she gets her memories back soon in book two and we can put some of these issues to bed and move on to saving the kingdom from her brother.

So disappointed with these RH

Maybe I need to lay off these RH, I feel every time I read a new book it just all seems the same. Our heroine starts off strong and kicka***, then once the men come along she isn't anymore! It's driving me to insanity! Why is this always the issue? She was left alone in a world with no memories and she was ready to survive. And she did as a Hunter, she was killing the monsters and taking names, then she meets dudes and is like a sad fawn in a jungle! She was worrying about things that were completely stupid, never staying on task to get her memories. She knew everyone smelled like s***, she knew she had no one truly on her side yet she just kept hoping! I was done with them all, if I was her id been more worried about my answers and not just being a sad pawn! She was a Hunter Jesus! Yet she played prey with the fae.

In this book we’re introduced to Alisa, a no-nonsense, strong , and sassy woman. She’s been dumped into the human world with no memory of who she is or what she does. There is a small note telling her to not to trust anyone but also that she’s good with a sword. Jump forward in time when 3 mysterious men find her. 5 years into the future Alisa finally gets some of the answers she’s been searching for.

This is a slow, sweet burn romance. It is made even sweeter since you can see the characters changing and evolving with time. Alisa is brilliant with her no nonsense attitude, standing toe to toe with the guys and not willing to back down. As always, May Dawson is brilliant in her storytelling and world-building. She has quickly become one of my favourite authors

I’m very excited for the next book and words don’t do justice to my excitement over it!!!

I absolutely adore May Dawson and every time I see a new book of hers, it's gimme gimme. This book is no exception, I started reading it and I could not put it down. It's starts with our girl Alisa having no clue who she is, where she is and only has a note with her. As the book goes on, she meets some guys who are from her past, and seem to hate her. Will they help unravel this mystery of her life?
I can't wait to find out more about Alisa and all of the mystery surrounding her and what really happened.

So far, the plot and action is good and I like the idea of a faerie princess hiding in the mortal realm. However, I dislike two major things.
The first, Duncan. His WHOLE personality is "I hate Alisa." He's even been called out on it twice thus far (22% in) and he doesn't let up. His inner monologue, his words, and his inaction all showcase how much he hates the FMC and it's just tiring. Not even a quarter of the way through, and Duncan's personality is bothersome.
The second major issue is the amount of BBS the FMC has when she is around everyone. Even Duncan, who hates her. The first couple chapters we think the FMC is a badass Hunter but the moment she gets around the fae men, all she can think about is them touching her, or how her nipples harden, or how her pussy gets wet. It's so disappointing that we're unable to have a woman fighter without her losing her train of thought around a pretty man.

30% in -
Duncan still hasn't let up. It's exhausting. This whole character is making me regret even picking up the book.

35% -
Alisa tells Azreal to stop talking/comparing who she is now with her past self. "Stop talking about who I was before." He agrees. No less than a page later, he won't stop talking about how she was before and she doesn't correct him.
How did she become so weak?
She caught onto the fact that these three men cannot be trusted, but less than 5% later, she allows them into her private rooms and wants to kiss one. PICK A LANE.

43% -
Duncan still is an asshole, his personality isn't changing apparently. Alisa keeps asking questions, yet no one tells her anything and she gives up her suspicions when one of the three gets close to her. *rolls eyes* Apparently they are so pretty she forgets that they all tricked her.

45% -
So her body remembers how to wield weapons, but not how to ride a horse?

57% -
I've now started to skim every interaction with Duncan or a chapter from Duncan's POV; his negativity is just too much.

82% -
We still have no idea why everyone hates her. There's no much advancement to the plot.
And why is she so accepting of the fact that her brother dictates her travel plans?
She finds out the real reason she was brought back to faerie, and she throws a tantrum by throwing books.
In one breath she says that she hates Azreal, but kisses him and cuddles into his warmth the next second. PICK A LANE.

85% -
Alisa says "It's not easy for me to relinquish control..." I call BS on that. She's never in control and accepts whatever someone tells her/shows her.

95% -
Not only is the whole Duncan thing exhausting, so is the "banter" between Azreal and Alisa. That relationship is awful. She accepts the bare minimum in answers, forgets what she wants as soon as he is near and doesn't push back when people keep telling her "later."

Completed

Here is the most annoying thing ever. WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING BECAUSE EVERYONE REFUSES TO TELL ALISA ANYTHING. It isn't until the 97% mark that we even know why Azreal hates Alisa. And it's just circumstantial evidence.
The most intriguing storyline is the one with her brother. Why is the king the way he is? What changed him?

The world building is not very good. Fae normally can't lie, use steel/iron weapons and usually a couple other quirks. But not in this world. In this world it appears that the Fae are just humans with pointed ears and magic. I was very disappointed in the lack of effort made to explain the Fae.

FMC is supposed to have some gift with animals, yet she never uses it even though there are several animals all around. Blargh.

I really enjoyed this book! The characters are amazing, the world-building exceptional, the interactions and dialogue believable, and it is jammed full of everything you could want for a good story.

The main female character, Alisa, is spirited, snarky, independent, and shies away from nothing. She’s passionate about her beliefs, a good fighter, smart, fun, and loves the thrill of danger yet she has a caring, softer, more vulnerable side she tries to hide and she is cautious with her trust. After something happened that caused her to have amnesia, she wakes to the unknown and hooks up with a team of Hunters who take her in and become her family – she trains with them, hangs out with them, and chases monsters with them, all while yearning to find out who she really is and uncover her memories along with her past. Though she only remembers the last five years, she has settled well into her current surroundings and life and is happy with her Hunter friends and their cause.

Then of course her world is turned upside down when three hulkingly gorgeous strange men appear claiming to know her, start talking about other worlds, portals, the Fae, and her being a princess who has been lost and now that she is found is needed back in their world. Alisa knows there is more to the story than what Azrael, Tiron, and Duncan are telling her and she is definitely wary but once she is shown impossible things she has no other option than to believe their tales and go with them despite her and her Hunter friends’ reservations if she wants to remember who she truly is.

Secrets and lies, trust and betrayal, danger and death, lust and love, friends and enemies, and politics and royalty await Alisa as she is thrust back into her world with deadly creatures, civil unrest, a society she does not understand, lands decimated by war, and everyone wanting to use her as a pawn in their own game…one where she is lost to the rules. She has no idea what she has walked into but as she sees and learns she becomes more determined than ever to recover her memories and set things right within the kingdoms and with the three men by her side.

I am pretty sure this series is going to be my new favorite! I love these characters and the world the author has created and cannot wait to find out more about them all as the story moves forward.

Five years ago Alisa woke up in the human realm without her memories. A note she carried gave her name, states she has no friends, to trust no one and she's good with a sword. Not much to go on but she does have money so that's a start. She makes her first friend when an older woman Elly helps her with a couple of human monsters. That was her introduction to hunting.

Duncan, Tiron and Azrael have been searching for Alisa and they've finally found her. She has no memory of Duncan when he helps her with a vampire trap. They know who she is and need to bring her home. They just have to figure out how to get her there, hopefully of her own volition.

Alisa has two friends other than Elly now, Carter and Julian. After her encounter with the vampires and Duncan she's out with them having a drink. Of course, they run into more vampires who try to take Alissa. Duncan is the one who comes to her rescue again this time with two enormous black dogs.

It's not until she's taken by shifters who have been grabbing young girls for breeding that she reaches an agreement with them. She'll go if they help her take the shifters down and free any girls they find.

After an unintentional argument with Azrael, Duncan picks her up and carries her through the portal kicking and screaming.

Once at the palace things change rapidly as Alisa is required by her brother to attend balls to welcome her home. Then there's the fact he is calling himself King, whereas she's been lead to believe he needs her for them to rule together equally.

Throughout this story we also get glimpses of the past through Azrael's memories. Although we haven't learned why they broke off. Then we have Raile, King of the Sea Court, he wants to marry her, we all know her feelings on that one.

There is a lot to process in this book as we learn more about the Summer court and its counterparts. Alisa also finds the only way to get her memories back is to go to the Cursed Caves and Faer is forbidding the journey.

I couldn't put this book down, it has a bit of everything action, romance, laughter, tears, betrayal, and sizzle.

4.5/5.0 stars ... Wow! What an amazing start to a new series! Slow build, slow/medium burn, UF/fantasy RH, multi-POV with mystery, secrets, and smoldering heat and a dose of love/hate enemies-to-lovers (or lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers?) The multi-POV added more depth to the story, the characters, and their relationships, past and present.

Alisa (FMC) is a good mix of compassionate and badass. She has spent the past 5 years in the human world, with no memories of her past (a note with her name but not much more) and forms a life for herself that includes hunting monsters. She's always wanted to restore her lost memories, and when three Fae men show up - the hates-to-love-her ex and his broody loves-to-hate-her brother and their best friend - wanting to take her home, she sees her chance to get answers. Little does she know that everyone wants something from her ... and for many it's revenge.

"Seeing Alisa as an enemy might destroy us both. But trusting her was sure to destroy me all over again."

I love the slow build aspect and seeing the emotional relationships form between the h and Hs. For two, I suspect it will be rekindling old flames once they're able to heal the wounds of the past.

The story slips between the present (multi-POV) and the past from POV of one of the Hs. I actually really liked how this was done. I felt like I was getting little tidbits on back story and motivations, at the right times of the present, and at times the flashbacks hooked me more with glimpses of more layers to the plot to be unraveled.

There is a lot of upheaval and brink of war stuff happening in the Fae world. Alisa is having to re-learn the world, the players, the dangers, being a Fae, and being a princess - or herself. Alisa has her work cut out for her, but I have faith in her, and I'm so excited for her journey!

"I think your kingdom needs a hero, Alisa. And I think that hero has to be you."

**I received an ARC of this novel and I am thrilled to share my honest review**

love the writing

4.5 but rounded down because of tiny errors, of the way things ended, and because (spoilers).

I love the writing. The beginning is usually so rushed with these similar story types but it didn’t feel rushed or dragged, and I was pretty impressed with how much I liked it. Then it switched to faerieland and it was like another story but still connected. The fun that never ended.

And then it stalled. By that point, she never left and was slowly left to figure out what was really up with everyone. Took her a long time and the big moment didn’t seem very climatic. She honestly could’ve found out earlier in the book and her same reaction afterward would’ve fit better. That’s just me.

I like the guys a lot. Like their dedication to hating her and being confused about this “new” Alisa. I liked that I actually thought she was bad until more than halfway through, when I realized she also could’ve possibly been set up. It made things more mysterious and harder to pick a side when it comes to Alisa and the guys.

This was a nice thought, a pretty nice execution except for the few random awkwardness. Alisa was confused a LOT and I’m hoping she starts getting her act together.

Aside from the ending that didn’t feel very finite (it felt like my copy didn’t have the last twenty chapters) I was super entertained and liked the book. The sexy scenes surprised me with their crass use of words when you take in the near haughty high class feel of things. But hey. Cool man.
