Books 5 and 6 of the Eva Rae Thomas Mystery series:
Let Me Go
What if a stranger told you that she believed your child is about to be killed? What if that woman was an ex-FBI profiler with a disputable reputation?
Would you believe her?
Eva Rae Thomas is chasing down a vicious killer, but no one will believe he even exists. If there are no unexplained dead bodies or missing persons, then how can there be a killer on the loose?
What they don’t understand is that the perfect murder is the one that doesn’t look like murder.
Can Eva Rae convince local law enforcement to help her with this case before the killer strikes once more? Or will she have to take matters into her own hands – again?
It's Not Over
Peter and Mary Marshall went on a vacation with their son and daughter but returned without their children. They went missing from their hotel room one night while the couple was downstairs in the restaurant for dinner.
They never saw them again.
Ten years later, the Marshalls have put the murder of their children behind them, moved to a different state, and had another child, a son.
When he disappears during a vacation trip to Florida, the parents are suddenly in the limelight again. Public opinion seems to be that this can be no coincidence. These things don’t happen twice to the same people, do they?
Former FBI-profiler, Eva Rae Thomas is doing well in her life, and things are calm until an FBI agent suddenly shows up, asking for her help with the case of the missing child.
The kidnapper seems to have a message for Eva Rae since she was the one who supposedly solved the case ten years ago.
As she digs into the disappearance of the boy, racing to save the child’s life, she realizes this psychopathic killer lurking in the shadows has unfinished business, and he’s not stopping till his debt is paid in full.

This exact harrowing event happened not more than 4 hours from where I live and so I was enthralled by this plot. Keep these wonderful books coming, they are a murder-mystery-thriller’s dream.
Eva Rae has her hands full with this crime. Ten years ago The Marshal’s vacation in Key West, a family trip full of fun in the sun, but it was anything, but that! Ten years later The Marshal’s finally return to Key West to put the past behind and make new memories. This will be anything but blissful. Can Eva Rae solve this crime before the past repeats itself? It’s Not Over was another amazing book by Willow Rose. She continues to keep me on the edge of my seat.
LET ME GO...# 5. Willow. Rose The author has a knack of using the foundation of a true happening. In giving us a story that caught us with emotion and twists and turns. Eva Rae An Ex FBI agent is an excellent character, she knows what she is doing. The other side is how cold and heartless some people are. Great flowing plot, as well as the series...
IT’S NOT OVER ....#6..Willow Rose He returned every year to watch the fun children had at the resort, till the itch to touch them, then he left. A date night for Peter and Mary, she agreed if they checked on their five year old twins sleeping. Her turn, to check on them, the patio door opened, and they were gone, Her babies, twins Maggie and Blake.had been taken. Ten years later, they had a boy, Cole, now he has been taken. Eva Rae questions, was this about her decisions she had made back then, to target the same family again.. A great plot, with the depth of the emotion it has on Eva Rae, and the family when loved ones are taken. She has given us good characters especially in Eva Rae and Mary.
Wow what a story book 4 is. When a swatter starts to call in false reports to the Police that there's a bomb threat or someone is holding someone else hostage they call in SWAT. When people starts to die because of this Eva Rae Thomas is on the case. Trying to find the person who's behind it while running from her own problems. This is another great story in the series. and can't wait for the next one. In book 5 a little boy is kidnapped and Eva Rae is called in by the FBI to lead the team to find him because years before she had worked on the case of the same family twins being kidnapped. This story will keep you guessing all the way through and then when you finally know who that person is you're like stunned because it just seems to be the last person you would expect. Wow what a great story.
Let it Go, I had previously read so I kind of skimmed it, and wasn’t sure if I liked Eva Rae. It’s Not Over, was really good. It was about the case. A repeat crime or ‘copycat?’ 10 years later, that was one of the questions. A child kidnapped from the same resort and Eva Rae comes out of retirement to save a child and the sanity of the poor Mother. I was a little thrown off for a while with the ‘backstory?’ If you would call it that. After a while I picked upon the correlation between young Roy and what was happening in this case. The mind works in mysterious ways This book burned up a Sunday on the patio- I had a hard time putting it down. No spoilers here- read it yourself!
This book is so good, it kept me awake till 2:30 am! The first part skips between two times. It's in the last half of the book that it shifts into overdrive and all begins to come together. It speeds up like a downhill train. As the pieces start falling in place, it becomes clear that the two times are extremely important and become more and more so . This story is so cleverly constructed it is probably the very best I've read and I'm a voracious reader! I won't explain further, you wouldn't want me to spoil the surprises!
The stories cover topics that are quite contemporary, BLM, racial injustice, Police force, internet sensation, sex offenders, child abusers, etc. The author dumped things to show Americans’ obsession of fame, money and power. Including Eva Rae, the story is full of self righteousness, self centered, and self indulgent. How could FBI profiler judge her subject without doing research and data analysis? How could FBI come in without some one in charge and manage? The characters in this book ruined story.
Twin 5 year-olds kidnapped? CHECK. Sex-trafficked runaway teenager? CHECK. Homicidal maniac? CHECK. Love life suspended during manhunt? CHECK. This is just another week in the life of Eva Rae Thomas, retired FBI profiler. I could not put this down.
You get that the story line is fiction but you also read these characters and think there is no way they could have been FBI. . . or you certainly hope not since they have some serious issues and seem unfit to be federal officers.
Both books are about the evil things people do to other people sometimes children. Both books are quick reads only because of Ms. Ross's knack of writing exciting mysteries.
I always enjoy Willow Rose female protagonists. Tender and tough, they are always good writing. This was was a twister plot, which I always enjoy. I don't think I've read a book of hers I didn't like.
These were two wonderful books! I feel as if I've known Eva Rae forever! Some things were so intense I had to stop reading for a while!Willow Rose is a master story teller!
Ad usual I sat down to read a chapter or two on my kindle while at. The doctors Big mistake not. Only did I miss my name being called I couldn’t wait to get home and finish the story which I did none stop Great read !
Action packed thriller,s. I like that she based these stories on real.crimes. #5 started off slow but definitely gained speed. #6 was a bit hard to.follow at first but you'll be wrapped up in the characters before you know what but you.
These were two very well written books and the stories were very believable as I am sure most who read them will agree. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
What a great combination of two books. I love it. This storyline was so captivating and full of joy and confusion and terror from the beginning of the end. Thanks. Give me more.
Once again we follow our heroin through the mind of a killer. She follows many twists and turns to solve a case that has haunted her for ten years - one she couldn't solve. As always you find a lot of red herrings before you get to the big fish.
I have to get the rest of these books. I love how Willow tells her stories! I really like it that teens can read them as there is no vulgar language. It is refreshing to read books like these! I hope she keeps writing more & more of the Eva Rae Thomas books!
A fabulous, exciting and edge seat read from one of my favorite authors. Willow keeps you guessing and when you think you have it figured out you find you really don't.
2 more thrilling stories from this brilliant writer. I was hooked from the very first page. Always find Willow Roses books difficult to put down. Finished these 2 at 2 am this morning
All in this series are so good. Just when you think you figured it out, bam a new twist and turn! Eva Rae, the heroine that has her own problems. But her desire to right wrongs, aka get the bad guys off the streets, whatever it takes! I’m hoping she gets together in the next book with her love interest! Guess I’ll see! On to the next! Mystery readers if you haven’t read any in the series, you gotta start now!
Let Me Go. Book 5 (Eva Rae Mystery). Technical cyber stuff. Gaming. Murder. As usual the prep is someone you least expect, but after reading several of Willow Rose books, that is to be expected so it isn't as much of a shock when you find out who the bad guy is. Book 6-It’s Not Over. This was much better than book 5. Less personal stuff for Eva Rae. More focused on the mystery instead of her personal life. Very good mystery. Twisty.
