The word 'demon' instantly grabs attention! Precisely why I chose this book. It interests you, needing to know what this negative entity can do. Next are the book's cover and blurb. The title is very apt for the story and the blurb, perfect to build the required interest. Kudos to the debut author R. H. Rose for such doing such excellent work. She has made sure to keep the audience engaged as well as entertained with the plot.
I started reading the book with Twilight's story in the back of my mind, so I felt this might be on the same lines as well but based in India. However, as I delved into the story, I realized, it's entirely unconventional and unprecedented. A couple of instances did indicate like Twilight, but then I was so much into the tale that I didn't really mind. The conversations are striking, keeping you addicted.
Trigger warning that there are adult contents and explained pretty graphically. The grammatical errors and misprint in names undoubtedly can be taken care of in the next edition. I would recommend this book to all the romance lovers out there, you are surely in for a treat. The author's next book is based on one of the characters of the current story, and I just can't wait for it.

I wanted a dark, paranormal romance and I got it💕
I haven't come across such books by Indian authors and I am so glad to have read this book which delivered more than I had expected.
This is the story of Seema, a normal seventeen year old, and that one insanely demonic paranormal being that she accidentally saw chained on a tree at her old neighbour's house.
This short book entertained me thoroughly keeping me at the edge everytime I turned a page because yes, things are that crazy and fast-paced in this story.
Seema is intuitive yet impulsive; goes for what her heart wants and the story quite revolves around her.
Dhruv. The Incubus. The paranormal being who everyone is afraid of because he; seduces girls and women ending up killing them when the demon in him wakes up.
While reading the first few chapters of the book, I was like nothing can happen between these two main characters let alone chemistry and romance but by the second half of the book I realised I was already hooked and I was getting angry at myself as I wasn't reading fast enough to see them together as soon as I could.
The slow burn romance burnt me bad.
Author, you have a way of torturing people with your slow burn romances.
(It happened with the first book I have read by this author: Lotus In His Eyes and I was like 🤦😭😭😭😭)
The writing is so fast paced I repeat. Things keep happening so fast that I had to remind myself to blink!
Seema was getting bullied at school by a girl body shaming her whenever she could with the whole class joining in the process (Seema's family had a bad reputation because of her father's company).
The next thing I came to know was she was in charge of taking care of the Incubus held in chains in her neighbour's basement!
While reading this book, I came to realise not all friendly or helpful people are our friends. They can be the worst enemies in disguise.
And also, not all grumpy, rude people are our enemies. They can be the ones who would save our lives when required.
I really liked how the characters are developed. The plot is good. But the story ended too soon for me just when things started falling in place.
My most favourite character is Dhruv of course. I couldn't have more connection with the main character Seema as she is quite young and acting her age but I see this character developing into a more confident personality towards the end.
But the most beautiful part of the story is how the character of Dhruv's character from an almost mute, animal like character to this character who can be so cute and romantic towards the end.
And yes, author! You read my mind.
I got really interested in one character Surya (the "opposite of what are demons") who served as a saviour for both Seema and Dhruv.
There were some villainous characters, specially Piho's dark character. It's impressive!
But I feel like some things got a little too convenient for the main characters towards the end. I want more character depth for the other side characters as well.
And yes, I was waiting for the most worrisome evil character that was mentioned in the book to strike and cause some havoc in the story but I was left disappointed.
Overall, a really awesome quick paranormal romance read.
At times, it reminded me so much of Twilight.
But you know what?
In the end, I ended up loving the flawed characters much more than I thought I would.

I'm a fan of paranormal romance and the Himalayan Demon just the book I was looking for. The story revolves around Seema, she's a seventeen year old girl who falls in love with a demon. Is the title says, the Himalayan Demon. It so happened that one fine afternoon Seema stumbled across a person tied up and helped him without knowing who he actually was and that's how the story begin. The story is filled to twists and turns. It will leave you wanting for more and held captive. All in all it was a great read.
The cover is astounding and captivating and so it the title which is descriptive of what the book contains. The author has used simple writing which flows and easy to read. So if you are a sucker for paranormal romance then surely grab this book.

Himalayan Demon is a unique story indeed. As the title suggests, it's the story of Seema who meets Dhruv and comes to know that he's a demon.
On a glance it may seem as a erotic story but it is so much more than that. It explores various shades of human emotions and struggles.
The incident of scam that made Seema and her family move to a beach house is indeed painful. Losing everything is so unacceptable and the way Seema is bullied and ostracised is so saddening.
But she has a heart of gold when she rescues the grey eyed Dhruv.
There are various instances of suspense and thrill in the later part of the story, which makes the book an engaging read indeed.

So the book is of a girl named Seema. She don't have a simple like all her family move to a beach house after losing everything in a scam. She is lost, being bullied in school.Life for her is difficult but things complicate further. Everything changes when she goes to rescue one grey eyed man and finds out he is a demon instead. The author had herself proved how much we could drag someone with magic of words. Even though protagonist was Seema who was madly in love with charming demon Dhruv, it was the reader only travelling and wanting for purest form of love.
If we took the spelling mistakes a little care, the intensity of romance and lust is clearly manipulated. The events, the descriptions, the characters are all well defined in simple language. It is sad that it is banned in India, but was so much glad to have the feeling of a visit towards Northern parts of India.
Also it was good to see kindness inside the demon proving that eventhough Dhruv is a son of incubus doesn't mean it will be a that dangerous creature any woman is afraid of. How love could defeat and bond two souls that was completely different is a best feeling that ever got to find after the read. Looking forward for upcoming books of the author.

Himalayan Demon!
The concept of the book is just Phenomenally Beautiful. A demon falling in Love and Loving better than Humans. Being a Demon (Dhruv) taught Seema how is it to be Loved.
A pure, genuine bond of love is shown. This is Genre is certainly Erotic but in a really good way. The plot is really constructive and the you can visualize the whole story in your mind. It is crisp and the language is Engaging.
One must really read it, it's like a roller coaster of emotions like Love, Lonliness, Satisfaction and alot more. The difference between love and lust is as well portrayed beautifully.
The characters of Seema and Dhruv are very well planned and written. They justify the whole plot. There are a few spelling errors in the book that can be taken care of. Other than that this is a really a Good read.

What a romantic erotic story it is! My first book in this genre and if it's your First time to read an erotic fiction like this, then I highly recommend this to you. This story is very captivating and so engaging that you will complete it in one go. And if not then you will surely be excited to read the next chapter. Book written with plain vocab, but impact is huge. Everytime you ask yourself what is gonna happen, but story as unfolds it gives a newer dimension to the love. The title is apt to story of the protagonist Seema and Dhruv. Story gives a glimpse of bullying by society as well which is very painful but yet real. When you will read the book it is likely that you will resonate with it and so this book belonging to erotic genre will give you a feel in real. Must read!

The Himalayan Demon is no-scary yet dark read for me. This story revolves around the protagonist Seema, who is having the toughest times of her life. When she finally relocates with her family, there goes an alarm off. Though this was a good read be warned if you are a light reader as this got some mix of genres that wouldn't fit into the taste of the many readers. The flow of the story is smooth. The title and the cover are good.

The story line is a unique one. Nothing like I've ever read. I was hooked from the beginning and the plot was fast moving. And it is true to its genre. The writing is simple and elegant. You can guess the Demon is the male lead and also a charming one by looking at the cover. Author's descption style was entrancing. Never knew a Demon could be so hot!. And the female lead is love, amiable and a relatable one . Overall it was a alluring, engrossing and a short read. I highly recommend this to readers who loves romance genre to give this one a read.

But she isn't the lone protagonist of this story. Her romance partner Dhruv.. the Demon about whom the title speaks of. And their chemistry is a little different one but yet an amazing one.
This is a book of emotions, of attraction, of love. The author has done a great work and the language used makes it very easy for following the story.

Worth a read
The Himalayan demon is a fantasy and erotic romance story.
This is my 3rd read of erotic genre and I was not happy with the rest two. Erotic doesn't mean that you have to think and write the kinkiest way to satisfy sexual desires. Erotic means, it should fuel your desire and makes you feel like heaven. Which I enjoyed throughout the plot.
I couldn't put this book down and I read it one night. The best part is when you imagine yourself in these stories and I must say the protagonist was certainly relatable. Though, it was based on the demon, angle, and interactions with humans. How we humans think we can use anyone for your benefit? But in the end, when I came to know the author is going to come with another book and I was like OMG, can't wait to put my hand on it.
It's fantasy and you must read.
One problem I find into this book was spelling mistakes. If that doesn't bother you much then it will be best read for you.

Seema , the protagonist's life is already complicated and it becomes more complex when she moves to the beach house where she feels constantly stared by someone but after she finds something unusual at her neighbour Kumar's place , she sneaks there at night where to her utter disbelief finds a demon who finds his energy for sexual arousal of women. Due to various circumstances she comes close to the demon and the demon seems changing his life when she has to move from there to Shimla , but will the demon leave her ? Will she ever stumble up on him? There are so many questions which can be found through going through the book.
I really loved reading this paranormal erotica story based on a demon which is dangerous yet charming at the same time .
The writing style is different but simple, plot is another important element of the book . Overall a great read to keep yourself engaged.

How the heck did this book get so many 5 star reviews is incomprehensible to me. This was one of the boring books that I've had lately, and I didn't even finish it.
Ok, now don't get me wrong, the idea of the book is pretty freaking good, but the way the author played it was so awkward that I had a hard time not cringing every 3 minutes. Hence -1 star.

Bored reading normal love stories ?....try this one it may provide you immense pleasure...
The genre of the book is paranormal romance....the story evolved around the dashing demon namely Dhruv..who have extremely bright grey eyes...which can hypnotize any woman in jst a second
Dhruv is alike to a human having same similiar physical structure but being a demon he posses a strong tail and horns too....
At the beginning of the story our another important teenage character seema saw a man tied in a tree in her neighbour's house....and the journey begins from there...she tried every possible thing to free the demon from the hands of the evil spirit Vittal ...will she succed in such doing ? Or she is going to invite dozen of troubles for herself ?
The plot of the book is quite interesting...and the idea that the author portrays the demon as a well-behaved one is wht makes the book twisting... usually in books or movies we are aware with the fact that demons are bad but while reading this one I request you to... shut down the already existed thought......added to my favourite list

A fantastic fantasy book in spiritual believes... Has some of erotic content in it, but I don't think that blindly putting this book and rating it 18+ is just satisfied...

The Himalayan Demon is a paranormal romance written by R.H. Rose. The book revolves around a teenager, Seema who recently had to shift to her family’s beach house as they have lost everything else due to a mishap, as she tries to settle down in her new environment she had endure bullying as well in the school. But soon her world is about to change as she rescues a man from her neighbor’s backyard thinking that he is a hostage there. Things take an intriguing turn as the man turns out to be a demon who lures women & ultimately kills them. To know what happens next, you’ll have to read the book.
The plot is simplistic yet not boring & that’s what kept me hooked till the end. It is nice to see young Indian authors experimenting with different genres than the basic romance or mystery books. A fast paced, steamy & interesting book which will surely refresh your mind.
