This is a very enjoyable read. This is book 2 of the Pelican Beach series. Payton's new photography client proves that she cant be trusted around Cole . Have you ever met someone who is willing to do what ever it takes to have their way??? This describes the new competition Lexi Donovan. Will Payton sand by her man and protect what's hers or will she get fed up and walk away. In the mist of Payton balancing her love life there's a family scare that sends everyone into panic. Then their is Payton's sisters causing plenty of drama. Pack your bags and enjoy beautiful sunsets at Pelican Beach.

This book is a continuation from The Inn at Pelican Beach. I loved reading about the Matthews family, Cole, Emmie, Alice and the introduction of Ethan. I love the way Michele Gilcrest weaves a good story with a little romance. She has a talent to draw you into the stories so that you fall in love with the characters and you don't want the books to end. You’ll want to read this page turner for sure. I was given an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

I really liked this book. The characters are great to follow through the story. Even though this is a second book in the series, it could be read on its own. This book tugged at my emotions especially with insecurities after being divorced. It also shows the importance of family especially in a troubled situation. Loved the ending!

It's another 5 star winner for me!
Book 2 in this series did not disappoint! Once again I was drawn in to the lives of the Matthews family and couldn't stop reading. The only problem I have is the books could be a bit longer, but other than that, it's a real home run for Pelican Beach!

Quick read in a sweet series
Cole and Payton's romance progresses, her dad's dementia unfortunately also progresses, and Rebecca's high school boyfriend steps back into her life. It is a light, quick read in a sweet series. Now I am off to grab the 3rd book.

Another very short book-more of a novella. Can be read in an hour. I liked book 2 better than book 1-there was a little more substance and the story did advance. There are 2 more in this series-wondering why she didn’t just put them all together and have one nice-sized book.

This is Book 2 and I still think this is a pleasant read. I love how cole proposed to Payne and the excitement of both cole and Payne's family. I like the ending.
