Pierce Fox is the drummer for ChiMera and always had a crush on his stylist, Hayley Wilson. When he starts to fall of the wagon his band tasks Hayley to babysit him. They always lightly flirted but now in such close quarters what will happen. These two are certainly fire together. She might be his stylist but she does so much more to keep this this wild one under control. This was a fun, easy but also unique and emotional rockstar romance. Both are slightly damaged but maybe together they can heal each other. Told in dual POV

Hayley and Pierce have a deep, emotional, touching in it's sadness story that was impossible for me to put down.
They each have their own story to tell of heartbreak, terror, guilt and emotional scars. Together they are going to shake your emotional foundation. A true rockstar romance but one that opens up about tragic reality. It's a definite gut-check.
He drowns his sorrows in what helps him escape but when he sees his stylist, Hayley in a new light, she becomes his new addiction and reason to live a sober life.
She has a trauma she lives with everyday. It's so sad and will rip your heart out. When our bad boy player rock star shows another side be sure to surround yourself with pillows because you will swoon!!!
Ghosts of the past try to get in between but you can't separate these two. They need each other on such a deep level. This book is an experience. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

I’ve always had a weakness for stories about bad boy rockers and this book definitely hit the spot and delivered in spades. I totally fell under the mesmerising spell of sexy as hell Cockney bad boy drummer, ‘Foxy’ Pierce and the gorgeous, enchanting American redhead Hayley. The chemistry between them sizzled off the pages with bolts of erotic electricity! I also really liked their interesting backstories which added suspense and made this a real page turner. It was lovely to catch up with characters from previous books though this totally works as a stand-alone. Five stars all the way for a perfect Summer read

Dirty Rocker by S.C. Daiko is such an emotional read. Two broken souls who have come together in an emotional, intense journey that takes them from broken to solid; heartbroken to happy. Hayley and Pierce have this sizzling, sexy, complex, emotional and touching story that will have the readers rooting for their love story from start to finish. Loved the feels and heart that this read gives.

So, of course the guy has a stylist but he also has a huge crush on her too. Hayley is then tasked with keeping him on the wagon has he is showing signs that he is headed down a terrible path. So now she is his stylist and babysitter and not really happy about it either. These are two beautiful people who of course have flirted with each other but now that their quarters have gotten tighter things are really about to head up. These two have some amazing chemistry and dark sides that will rip your heart out. I thought this was a really great book. Be prepared to swoon and have your heart torn our of your chest all in one book.

I am really enjoying this rocker series. Having read Rockstar Axel's story previously I was excited to read Dirty Rocker and it didn't disappoint. In this story Pierce and Hayley have both been deeply affected by events and traumas in their past.
Pierce is trying to deal with his past by attempting to drink himself to death and the band threatens to kick him out unless he sobers up. Hayley is Pierce's stylist and appears confident on the outside but underneath her childhood trauma has left her unable to have a fulfilling relationship with a man so she feels lonely. These two have always been friends but as they spend more time together their friendship turns into something more.
This is a wonderful love story that shows how sympathy, compassion and trust are key elements to a successful relationship. I expected Hayley to be able to help Pierce to stay off of the bottle but I didn't expect the hardened rock star to be so patient and considerate with Hayley always putting her first.
I was enthralled with this book until the end and I learned something that I didn't know about as far as Hayley is concerned. The characters were very likeable and realistic. Having said that I thought that the threat from Pierce's past was dealt with a bit too quickly and easily and the story seemed a bit rushed towards the end. However it was a different take on the usual rocker romance that fans will enjoy.

Dirty Rocker is the story of Pierce aka Foxy the drummer for ChiMera who we first met in Rock Star and the bands stylist Hayley.
Peirce's drinking is out of control and the Dirty Rocker needs to deal with his alcoholic ways and the lucky lady to help him deal is Hayley.
This is an emotional story both Peirce and Hayley have dark pasts and hidden secrets to overcome, are they the right match to slay their demons are create a better future.
Contains some sensitive subject matters, however, S.C. Daiko has written and handled this issues with great skills & care.
Recommended read for lovers of Romance.

I'm not really a rockstar romance trope reader but I will read anything SC writes. I enjoyed this one so much. I love Pierce and Hayley. They make such a great couple. I loved their chemistry and everything about them. Only SC could impress me with a rocker romance. Great book.

Pierce is a drummer for ChiMera, a British rock band. He has fallen into his addiction and stylist Hayley is assigned to look after him. Pierce has always had a crush on Hayley. The couple have a light flirtation but things get hotter when they are glued together at the hip. Both are damaged by their pasts. Can the couple make it through to have a relationship? A good read.

This was a good read that went really quickly and had a few big issues the main characters were dealing with. Through dealing with their issues they were able to pull together to make themselves a whole. I think the author did a great job in descriptions and keeping the pace of the book flowing while throwing in a little twist that keeps the reader on edge.

Can the Dirty Rocker clean up?
DIRTY ROCKER by SC Daiko is a "semi" continuation story from ROCK STAR, which I had read but it is not completely necessary. This story centers on Pierce Fox and Hayley Wilson. Pierce is the drummer of the the band ChiMera and even after a stint in rehab a couple of years ago he is drinking in order to numb himself and forget about certain things. Hayley is a sweet and lovely young woman who is one of the stylists for the band. She has been with them for two years now but has never become involved with any of the band members, as it is frowned upon and could cause issues, including leading to her losing her job which she needs. Hayley has a lot going on in her life including paying for her father's care as he deteriorates with Alzheimer's. Her mother has already died so he is really the only family she still has.
Pierce's drinking is becoming a problem and instead of another stink in rehab, which would mean the band having to stop touring, an alternative is proposed.........Hayley would become his "babysitter". She needs to keep him away from the booze or anything else that he may seek out. Pierce is not sure how to live without something but Hayley starts to introduce him to other things that are "clean fun". Soon Pierce has transferred his need to Hayley and he is addicted to her. But as their relationship/friendship deepens there are other things to overcome for Hayley as she has a medical condition that can be a killer for a relationship. But Pierce is there for her and is supporting her in ways she had not expected. I really enjoyed this entertaining story that is filled with some drama, passion, emotions, sexiness and of course a wonderful HEA between the Dirty Rocker and the beautiful, smart and fun stylist. This book also touches on several deeper subjects which were handled with care. I look forward to the next book about the ChiMera bandmates.

DIRTY ROCKER by SC Daiko is a "semi" continuation story from ROCK STAR, which I had read but it is not completely necessary. This story centers on Pierce Fox and Hayley Wilson. Pierce is the drummer of the the band ChiMera and even after a stint in rehab a couple of years ago he is drinking in order to numb himself and forget about certain things. Hayley is a sweet and lovely young woman who is one of the stylists for the band. She has been with them for two years now but has never become involved with any of the band members, as it is frowned upon and could cause issues, including leading to her losing her job which she needs. Hayley has a lot going on in her life including paying for her father's care as he deteriorates with Alzheimer's. Her mother has already died so he is really the only family she still has.
Pierce's drinking is becoming a problem and instead of another stink in rehab, which would mean the band having to stop touring, an alternative is proposed.........Hayley would become his "babysitter". She needs to keep him away from the booze or anything else that he may seek out. Pierce is not sure how to live without something but Hayley starts to introduce him to other things that are "clean fun". Soon Pierce has transferred his need to Hayley and he is addicted to her. But as their relationship/friendship deepens there are other things to overcome for Hayley as she has a medical condition that can be a killer for a relationship. But Pierce is there for her and is supporting her in ways she had not expected. Together they are good and build their own support system to overcome the challenges they face, including the band with accepting their relationship. Pierce proves that even a dirty rocker can become a loving boyfriend.

Another enjoyable read from this author. We really enjoyed the characters and the story itself as it was fun and flirty and it also had a serious theme to it with issues such as struggling with guilt and battling alcohol & substance abuse.
We loved Hayley from the moment we met her she was kind and funny and independent and she was the type of person that everyone just loves she also is dealing with some personal issues of her own that have her shying away from any kind of a personal relationship until that dirty rocker bad boy Pierce Fox has her wishing things were different.
We loved that cocky bad boy rocker Pierce Fox to even though he initially was a bit of a douche he redeemed himself and then some throughout the book. We loved the fact that although Pierce's past was a troubling one he never made excuses for the choices he made and the things he had done in the past he just owned up to them and moved forward creating a better life for himself. We loved how talented he was and through his process of recovery, he was discovering he had some hidden talents as well.
We loved Pierce and Hayley as a couple they had tons of chemistry and they had developed an amazing friendship before becoming lovers which really was quite endearing. As the story unfolds both slowly start to heal and as they start dealing with the secrets of their past things really started heating up and even discovered things that would yet again change their lives once again.
Overall we really loved the story which surprised me as I am not much of a Rock Star romance kind of girl I ended up loving it. The story was heartfelt and emotional and had you laughing out loud at times and smirking at others. This was a really sweet romance full of lots of messy bits some good and others not so good but, through all the trials two people found their soul mate and they're happily ever after.

Oh my Goodness what a fantastic story,I really enjoyed it and couldn't put it down.

I absolutely loved being back with the guys from the rock band ChiMera. Dirty Rocker tells us the story of the band’s drummer Pierce ‘Foxy’ Fox, and what a story it is.
It has been impossible for me to put this book down and my emotions have been on a roller coaster ride throughout. Foxy and Hayley both have demons that they have been struggling to escape from. Learning what had happened in their younger years broke my heart and I could totally understand why they struggled so much.
The couple have already known each other for around two years due to Hayley working as Pierce’s stylist but then a change in circumstances enables them to become closer on a more personal level and I thought they were perfect for each other. Foxy surprised me when he repeatedly showed just how caring and considerate he could be with Hayley, and I loved that they played a role in helping each other put their pasts behind them.
My only niggle is that I felt that the story was rushed. As much as I was eager to know what occurred next and discover the details regarding what had happened to Foxy and Hayley, I wish it had been disclosed at a slower pace. That being said, this book is still one that I highly recommend. It is a gripping read and I know you’ll love the characters and the storyline. I sincerely hope that this isn’t the last we see of our ChiMera rock stars.

Loved this book! But how else could I feel about a book that Siobhan wrote? She always gives us characters that move us, whether broken, angst driven or just having inner beauty... they pull us in and make us root for them... even those that seem to be irredeemable...
In this case, we have Hayley (Yankee Girl) and Pierce (Limey)... both with secrets and broken in their on way... He's a drunken bad boy rocker, she's his shy quiet stylist.... She is drawn to him, but puts up walls to repel herself from his "whorish ways"... wants him, but doesn't want to be another notch on the bedpost... I always enjoy stories in a series that visit the same group you are already familiar with. Here we return to Axel's band to get deeper into his drummer's life, and Phoenix is there, pregnant now, leading her own band, the two taking turns with who has first act and who has the second act as they tour the Pacific. They have cleaned drugs out of their life but not alcohol, which is Pierce's downfall. When he performed drunk, the band voted to dismiss him unless he went to rehab, but Jake gives him the option of having his stylist, Hayley, babysit him. This story details how these two broken people 'cure' each other of their unhealthy coping mechanisms that resulted from incidents in childhood. Who would've guessed that the dirty 'manwhore' rocker would have been so unendingly patient, loyal, and true to a woman with Haley's problem? I even got impatient, thus the four stars for this five-star book. I liked how the author's plot was so believable as both got to face their perpetrators and feel a sense of justice! And the HEA is a double dose of a lovely ending!

Dirty Rocker is my first book from S.C Daiko and it will not be my last. It's such an amazing introduction to the author.
As the drummer for Chimera Pierce's life was spinning out of control when his manager gave him an ultimatum, get help or he's out of the bad. Hayley Wilson is Chimera's stylist, and her life was anything but easy. Her father was in a nursing home, and bills were piling up. She had no time for fun.
Dirty Rocker was surprisingly emotional, in the best kind of way. These two were dealing with some real life, tough issues. It didn't matter that he was a rockstar and she was a stylist, tough things still happen. Life doesn't matter if you're living in a million dollar home or sleeping on a park bench.
Daiko delivered a beautiful story about two broken people who take a journey of finding themselves. Everything about this book was amazing and near perfect. The plot was perfect, the characters amazing, her writing fantastic.
Dirty Rocker is a 5 star emotional, must read! I'm completely hooked on Daiko now and can't wait to go back to see what else she has.

Dirty Rocker isn’t your typical rock star book. This brilliantly written story will hit all of your feelings and emotions. Some more than others. It’s not only about the rock star scene and all its trappings, but about two amazing characters who overcome their troubling pasts to find love. That with the support of family, and the love they have for each other, anything is possible.
The chemistry and connection between Foxy & Hayley is off the charts. The patience and understanding they have for each other as they navigate through addiction and family secrets to find their happily ever after was incredible which made my heart swoon. It had me really rooting for the both of them.
As with all SC Daiko’s books, you can’t help but fall in love with her characters and get sucked right into the story. This book did exactly that! I highly recommend this book. It will be quite a roller coaster ride but well worth it!

Dirty Rocker by S.C. Daiko is a extremely cute tale of Pierce Fox. He is the self destructive drummer for the famous rock group ChiMera. If he doesn't get his act together he will be kicked out the group. His stylist Hayley has been selected to keep him from drinking his career away. What starts out as a pretend relationship somehow blossoms into more. Pierce has had a thing for his sexy stylist. His addiction and womanizing will not help him but if he can clean up his act he will do it for her. Hayley has been told by her ex she is damaged goods. When she ends up having to help Pierce get clean the two damaged people end up helping each other. Past secrets come out that will either bring them together or tear them apart. I couldn't put this story down till I finished it. Some heavy subject matter. Loved Pierce and Haley. Loved their journey to the real thing. A happily ever after well deserved for two sweet people. 4.5 stars for me.

You can’t read this book without swooning over Pierce not just conquering his battles, but taking up the challenge Hayley has faced for years, too. I knew this author could create a steamy story with lots of feeling but this one brought it to a completely different level!
Pierce Fox is a drummer of the world know rock band, and he is on the bottom of his existence - drugs and alcohol are his usual mates, as well as a woman. You know the drill - a rock star on high. I thought that I would antagonize him for most of the story, but Ms. Daiko created a deep charter that brought tears to my eyes with his behavior and change in him!
Hayley is a stylist, she was with the band for quite some time - she knows the band and Pirce from the worst side, and now she has to babysit this womanizer! Could it get worse? Well... let's invite feelings and it will make it a totally different level of the strange situation.
This is the set for this heartbreaking story that made me try so much, and I loved every second o this read - chemistry was palpable and this story touched something deep inside me! I loved how the author did justice to the past feelings of Hayley especially.

Dirty Rocker, book two in this Rock Star series follows ChiMera drummer Pierce Foxy and one of the band’s stylist’s Hayley Wilson. When Hayley is asked to practically babysit Pierce to stop him from drinking, she agrees, not realizing that she will be spending all of her time alone with Pierce. What begins as a continuation of the light flirting between them quickly escalates into something more. What starts out as Hayley helping Pierce through his addiction turns into Pierce helping Hayley through a trauma from her past. As the pair work together to help each other, something from Pierce’s past comes back and almost ruins everything for Pierce. Will the pair be strong enough to handle all the obstacles in their way? Or will the past keep them from having a future?

Hayley and Peirce story is special. Hayley is a stylist for Pierce. They have know each other for a few years. Pierce lives the life of a rocker. Until one night its to much. Pierce is so drunk he doesn’t remember anything. Its not the first time this has happened. The band members vote for that pierce gets his sobers up or leaves the band. He agrees and Hayley gets ask to be the sitter and help him sober up. Pierce and Haley are acquaintances but this ends up making them friends. Pierce and Hayley lives growing up were different. This story is sad to read at times. Your heart breaks for everyone. This is such a must read. Thank you united indie book blog for allowing me to read this book.
