De kleine Else is bezeten van boeken, vooral van 'Alice in Wonderland'. Zeker nu haar vader en moeder steeds ruziemaken. Else wordt door haar ouders op vakantie gestuurd, omdat ze denken dat dat haar goed zal doen. Elses oom Robert is een geweldige verhalenverteller, dus om met hem mee naar Oxford te gaan moet fantastisch zijn! Alleen, Oxford is heel anders dan Else zich had voorgesteld. Vliegende honden, zingende konijnen en pratende bloemen kruisen haar pad tijdens een opwindende speurtocht die oom Robert voor haar bedenkt. Het is alsof Else net als Alice in Wonderland is beland...

Just like Hazel from The fault in our stars have her book, An Imperial Affliction, I have this book. I won't sa much more than that, just becasue, even if I've read this a lot, I still have the same opinion towards it
