Going to read “What To Say When You Talk to Your Self”. This book felt like a selling point to the websites www.selftalkplus.com and www.selftalkinstitude.com. Interesting read. Book was repetitive. It could have been a 30 minute read Instead of a 60 minute read. So far, the best self help book I have read is “You Are A Badass” by Jen Sincero.
I have been fighting negative self talk for years, just saying stop it doesn't work. They come right back. I thought it was just me. I am so glad to have found this book and can't wait to change my mind into a positive force. And of course, share it with my friends and family. Got to go, getting started right now!
I absolutely love all of the Self-Talk guidebooks by Shad Helmstetter! Whenever I read one, I always find good information in it that is helpful to me in my personal journey, and especially now, since I'm struggling with anxiety and depression. I'm probably going to read this book again, in the future, because I found it very encouraging.
