The Dragon Wars were devastating. The wounds are still festering. Daegan lost his family and his freedom until the Belador supernaturals freed him after millenniums. Now he rules as their king, but his enemies are determined to reveal the dragons existence to the world. Mankind is in danger as are the Belador. Will Daegan and his Red Dragon be able to track down the enemy and find the truth? The story is exciting. It's filled with nonstop action and unexpected twists. The plot is complex and hints at secrets and future revelations. Dianna Love knows how to leave you wanting more. The characters are interesting and determined to save their own plus the innocents. Be aware that this book ends on a cliff hanger. I'm anxious for the next book. I have so many questions that need answers. I received a copy of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. My comments are my honest opinion.
Betrayal, war, loss, and festering hatred. The first book in the Treoir Dragon Chronicle is compelling and tragic. I was captivated by the world building and the character dynamics and look forward to reading more.
Just a note this story does end with a slight cliff hanger, but no worries books 1-3 are now available with book 4 coming soon.
Beladors and dragons what more could you ask for? Nine books within a year! Be still my heart.
Has all the characters we have come to love and gives a lot of the details and history that we my have been wanting in the Belador series about Daegan the Treoir Dragon king .
Because we always want more, right? And more coming soon is always something we love to hear!!
This book has no clue what it even wants to be or do. It starts out with a completely pointless prologue that turns out to be entirely irrelevant within the first few chapters of the book and doesn't seem to serve any purpose whatsoever beyond being a prologue. The UF worldbuilding doesn't even try to be believable and the basic conflict makes no sense either. The book has no direction. The actions of the adversaries are not just stupid but make not a lick of sense. Their whole existence is basically just dedicated to providing challenges the main cast can solve for the entertainment of the reader. Their behavior can only be explained if they intentionally and very carefully tried to do everything to not actually accomplish their supposed goals.
It's just a bunch of tired UF clichées and tropes thrown together in the hopes something coherent would magically emerge. There is no sense of consistency either. Characters switch between being basically human to being a literal demigod at the author's whim depending on what makes for the most tension at the moment. Any rule in this world is arbitrary and subject to change at any time.
I have no clue how this has so many good reviews.
The only good thing I can say about it is that the writing itself is pretty good which is kind of confusing as it contrasts extremely with the nonsense which is conveyed through the well-written words.
I read the prologue and then some of chapter of 1 and I said no. I got bombarded with "Da" and "ya" and wtf?! and names and random events that were not coherent at all. Absolutely no. DNF!
I was provided an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review.
I am a long time reader of Dianna’s and a long time reader of the Belador series, though I will admit that I’ve only gotten up to book 6 Witchlock of the original series. That being said, I think you could start with this one and be OK. It makes references to things that happened in the original series, but the author gives you enough information to go on and not be completely in the dark. As a fan of the original series, I am inspired to hit my shelves and finish the last four books in that series. I’ve clearly missed quite a bit. If you are new to Dianna’s writing or this world in general, I don’t think it will be too confusing and I don’t think you need to go back and read that series first. I do highly recommend it though! If you are a long time fan of the series, you will be happy to be back in Atlanta with all of your favorite characters from the original series, while getting to know some new characters.
This book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but the first three books will be release about a month apart and all 9 books in the series will be out in the next year. I enjoy serial novella type books when they are released in quick succession so I don’t’ have to wait, and I can deal with a cliffhanger in each one knowing that the next book will be out in a few weeks. That being said this book is just getting things started with the plot and characters. We are just getting to know Daegan and Casidhe when things take an unexpected turn. The back stories of both characters are just starting to reveal their abilities and the roles they are going to play in the story. We are also introduced to several villains, some new and some familiar. The world building so far has been great. The story takes place in several different locations from a modern day Atlanta to small village in Ireland, while other parts take place in fantasy realms created by the author. I love Dianna’s creativity with the fantasy character’s she has created and the detail in which she describes them.
This particular installment follows Daegan who has recently taken over as leader of the Beladors. He also happens to be a dragon shifter. He has recently been freed from a very long imprisonment and he is determined to protect his people and prevent them from befalling the same fate as his family did all those years ago. Unfortunately, the supernatural world has different plans. A new race of supernatural threatens to expose the Beladors and supernatural beings in general to the rest of the world unless Daegan can find a long lost set of grimoires. The offer has been made to other powerful beings so the race is on, but Daegan’s prize is protecting his people. Enter Casidhe, she has a talent for reading ancient texts and might be able to help Daegan find the lost books. She also may have some hidden supernatural abilities that we have only begun to scratch the surface of. I’m very much looking forward to learning more about how these two are connected and how they learn to work together to find the books and save the Beladors.
Whether the prior books in the Belador series have been read or this is your introduction into the world very cleverly created by Dianna Love, the first installment in the TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES will capture your every thought and leave you begging for the next story. With plenty of background history interwoven throughout the storyline, a new reader will be pulled into the original premise of this series, just like I was initially. I have read all the previous books, so it was exciting to discover the latest developments in Daegan’s life, a rare dragon-shifter, and the lives of the individuals who make up the supernatural race of Beladors. There are many uncertainties in this book, as mysteries mount and threats escalate, and each one left me fearing the worst yet hoping for the best.
When Daegan fought for his family and followers almost two thousand years ago, he could never have imagined the turn his life would take upon being cursed by a dark witch. Finally freed and now living among humans in Atlanta, he once again faces an enemy who could take away all that he currently holds dear. Teaming up with a group of Beladors, whose ancestors also aided him long ago, Daegan vows to keep humans from learning about the wide variety of supernatural beings which actually exist while making certain the vulnerable mortals remain safe. But a ruthless adversary is determined to reveal the reality of beings with preternatural abilities unless the dragon-shifter king of the Beladors can locate a missing grimoire, and with assistance from his current followers, the group must try and save themselves along with the humans who view those with special abilities as monsters.
Dianna Love has a talent for making every scene seem so plausible, even when an occurrence should come across as unbelievable, and I could easily picture in my mind all the happenings in the story taking place just as described. From flying dragons to teleporting in the blink of an eye to bespelled items, Ms. Love makes her urban fantasy story seem so realistic, thus transporting me to a place where magic is the norm. Details about any characters or places visited are colorfully depicted, letting me get a clear visual.
Daegan is a very powerful being, yet he still feels emotions like a human and those moments touched me deeply. As he tries to keep a foe from causing harm to many, much of the shifter’s past history is exposed along the way and caused me to feel a genuine connection to him. I also came to worry about what might happen if he is not successful in his quest to stop evil from reaching its goals.
Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World by Dianna Love is the 1st book in her new 9 book series Arc. I have been a huge fan of Dianna Love for a long time, having loved her Belador & other series. With this new arc in the same world, I am excited to return there.
Treoir Dragon Chronicles centers around the Belador King, Daegan, as he is called to rescue one of his Beladors. We see that three Beladors in separate spots, are taken down by a powerful Immortik (thought dead thousands of years ago), and even Daegan nor Tristan cannot help the kidnapped members. Daegan, who is ultra-powerful, and can secretly shift to a Red Dragon, but to his surprise, he feels the Immortik is able to disable him; he is given a warning; the Beladors have two weeks to find two missing ‘grimoire’ that was divided up and hidden two millennias ago, or his people will be killed. Daegan has no choice and calls his team together to Treoir to find a way to stop the Immortik, get the grimoire before Maeve, Viper, Cathbad or Macha find it themselves. On top of this issue, there is an unknown group creating videos to show humans that supernaturals do exist, and showing a red dragon on the screen. Daegan is determined to find who this fake Red Dragon is, not to mention who is behind this chaos to create fear to humans.
It was great to see all of our favorites again, such as Evalle, Tristan, Adrianna, Quinn, Storm, Tzader, Brina. The information on the Immortiks and the grimoire is difficult to find, as it dates back thousands of years ago. Daegan with help from Tristan, searches for a female squire who is able to find old books, and going back to his old homes to look for family that may have survived his 2000-year captivity.
We do get two POV’s from the evil Cathbad and the squire, giving us more information as to what Daegan doesn’t know. Daegan, the Beladors and humans are all in danger as the world as they know it is about the change. Daegan is a great leader, loyal and protective of his team, and determined to defeat the enemy.
I am not going to tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers. What follows is an exciting pulse pounding paranormal, suspenseful adventure, with many of our wonderful heroes from the previous books. Keep in mind that these are shorter books in this 9-book arc, and be warned that this one ended with a cliffhanger. If you are a Belador fan, do not miss this new series. If you are new and love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense, romance, great characters, you should be reading Dianna Love.
A promising, if somewhat cumbersome first installment
Dianna Love’s Belador UF series has been a favorite of mine from the first book, so I was really excited when I learnt there was going to be a spin-off.
After an unexpected betrayal, Daegan, the powerful dragon king, had been imprisoned, frozen into the shape of a throne, for millenia, before he was freed and assumed his place as King of Treoir. After his recent rescue he has vowed to do everything within his power to keep the Beladors safe. But there are forces at work that will hesitate at nothing in order to expose the existence of magical beings to the human populace.
This is the first book in what is set to be a 9 books series and it lays out the background for all the various characters and factions with multiple POVs, which in the beginning can feel a little confusing. We have many of the known Beladors in supporting roles, the original three, Evalle, Tzader and Quinn have little more than cameo appearances, whereas the main focus lies on Daegan, the dragon kin, framed by the introduction of a possible new heroine, Casidhe (who is a scholar and a warrior and something more). We also learn that not all dragons are dead, as previously believed, and new antagonists, the Imortiks (a type of demon) are introduced, who have managed to escape their magical prison. To solidify their power, they need an ancient grimoire, which has been divided into three volumes for safe-keeping and now a race ensues about who can get their hands on the spell-books first… And Cathbad and Queen Maeve are still in the picture, too, pursuing their own agendas while continuing to meddle.
After a somewhat slow start the book picks up the pace in the last third before it ends on a cliffhanger. Dianna Love has announced that subsequent installments will be released at roughly monthly intervals, so the wait is not too long.
A promising, if somewhat cumbersome first installment in a UF series that could become epic. But because of the slow start and the many changing POVs only a well-meant 4 stars from me.
For years, the Beladors and preternaturals have lived among humans. The Beladors specifically have done their best to hide from and protect humans from the other forms that would take advantage or destroy the human race or even worse, rule them. Now, a group has manipulated several scenarios that reveal their existence to humans. Beladors and other preternaturals have been taken hostage by Imortaks, the newest evil to arrive in Atlanta. The Imortaks seek 1 goal: To obtain all 3 copies of the Immortus Grimoire. It is these tomes that will free the others of their kind. A few have escaped from the realm that were sent and now it is a matter of survival for humans and preternaturals alike as the Imortaks seek to rule all and dominate the world. Daegan, the Dragon King values those he protects and takes on the challenge of finding the books to gain freedom for his people. He is not alone. There are others who were taken captive and Beings that seek the same freedom. Only 1 group has been promised release. The group that finds the books first. The race is on to find these special tomes and it will take the help of a Squire who does not quite know her abilities or where her loyalty should lie.
New characters, new villains and a complicated history of dragons and men make for a fast paced story. The tomes are important for survival for many, but can they convince humans that some preternaturals are here to help and not destroy and overcome the human tendency to destroy what they do not understand.
Book 1 ends far to soon and the story and characters are beginning to come to life and we learn more about history and the Dragon King. Although a cliffhanger, and a good one, Dianna Love has promised to release the entire 9 books in under a year making the wait a little less stressful. I am very much looking forward to the Chronicles. It is a blend of familiar and new as only Dianna can deliver.
Dianna Love and dragons? Yes, please! The Belador World is one of my favorites and I was jumping with joy when I found out Love was going to be diving into dragons. It's a dream come true. And to have so many of them come out so soon...*swoon*
This first book of the spin-off series in the Belador world perfectly recaps all that we have experienced so far. It's not all crammed out in some sort of summary in the first chapter. It's all strategically placed within a masterful story, which is just how I like it. So, if you haven't read any of the other Belador books, I think you would be fine starting here.
Poor Daegan. I feel like I just need to say that. After reading more about him and his past in this book, I think he is going to be one of the most complex characters out there. I long for what's to come, but at the same time, I'm dreading it as well. His story is not going to take him down Easy Street.
And Casidhe? She has my attention. I'm very intrigued to see where things go for her, to say the least. Love writes fierce female characters, and I'm going to go ahead and add Casidhe to my list of "Best Butt-Kicking Ladies."
So to sum things up without giving anything away. Thrilling story...check! Characters I can't get enough of...check! Fascinating legends, lore, and history...check! Moments that have me burning through pages while I'm on the edge of my seat...check! The feeling that the next one can't come soon enough...check! If you are afraid of getting hooked on another magnificent series, stay away from this one, because it will sink it's dragon claws into you quickly, and not let go.
I know usually I finish a book in under a couple of days. But with my boys going back to school virtually to my job being very demanding lately I haven't finished this book yet. But what I have read so far it is an awesome book. Dianna really knows how to capture an audience. Way to go.
This story starts off of how Daegan was captured and basically adds the much needed back story to his family. When Evalle was captured, Daegan and the others of his seven not only rescued Evalle, but another dragon that was captured and held as a prisoner. The dragon still has not spoken or shifted into his human form. Daegan has a suspicion on who the dragon really is.
Cathbad had captured an ice dragon and is having trouble making her do as he wishes. There are new supernaturals in Atlanta that are called Imortiks who "bond" with powerful supernaturals such as the Beladors. We also find out about another ice dragon that had survived the Dragoni War.
Daegan has to find 2 grimoires to get back his people that have been "possessed" by the imortiks and time is not on his side. He has two weeks to get the task done and also try to stop the fallout of being outed to the humans.
To find the grimoires that he didn't know existed he needs to find a squire family that helped keep history with his father.
I really love how Dianna keeps you begging for more in her stories. And the ones that end on a cliffhanger like this one does makes you want to read more of the stories when they come out so you are chewing on your nails in suspense of when the next one will be released.
I received this book as an ARC. Having just discovered the world of the Belador’s and Dianna Love’s writing in 2019 I was excited to see where this new series was going to go. It did not disappoint! While I was happy to renew friendships with my old favourites from her previous series, they were really fringe dwellers in this book. We are taken on a whole new series of adventures with developing new characters. There is enough background information given in the book to mean that it is not necessary to have read the previous series first. (However I would definitely recommend it as they are fantastic). Beladors have always secretly protected humans while living among them. The book starts with the newly arrived Imortaks manipulating the Belador’s exposure to the human race while taking them hostage. Can human’s cope with knowledge of unnatural beings living among them or will they destroy their protectors? The Imortaks demands must be met to restore the hostages to their families. Deagon the Red Dragon King is a protector above all else. Having lost his family many years ago, the Belador’s are his family now and he is bound to save them at all costs. Thus starts his search for the Grimores. Along his journey we meet new characters to love and learn more of the fascinating dragon history. A journey of discovery with fast paced adventure. Dianna Love has me hooked - I can’t wait for the next book.
It's been awhile since readers have seen Trey, Tristan, Evale and the whole Atlanta Belador gang together so this first book in a new Belador series with all the old gang was kind of a guilty pleasure. Add to that a centuries old immortal dragon king and I was sold within the first few pages. This new story, offers all the magic we've come to expect from Love's multi-volume Belador saga. It's also got an epic scope with settings ranging from the familiar Atlanta to Ireland with stops in several magical realms along the way. There's plenty of action, lots of monsters, a good bit of mystery and intrigue and all the magical fireworks and shifter fisticuffs I've come to expect of this author's work. It is the first of a new series, so if you're looking for a quick one and done read, you're probably in the wrong place and, because it's set in the Belador world, it would likely help if you've read at least a few of the earlier stories (not a hardship - they're great reading and most are still readily available), but if you're looking for a new favourite world and go-to series, Love has promised these will be released in fairly short order so you won't be waiting around for years and harassing the author or the next book every year or so. All in all, I loved Book 1 and I can't wait for the next one.
I’m hooked! The first book in the new Theoir Dragon Chronicles is a flash of exciting new revelations. We finally get to see behind the secrets of the mysterious Red Dragon King. The interwoven secrets and the different paths to find the past is spellbinding. All the characters we loved from the Belador series are back with more incite to their lives and work. I’m addicted to this new world and it just started. The prolog of where it all began was exciting and set the tune perfectly. I love fast paced reads and this is the “can’t put it down” story, even when it was slow. I will admit, yes there are a few sections that are tedious but end with a “ Oh, wow! I didn’t know that!” Daegan’s past is a maze of secrets and betrayal that he needs to unveil to help his people today. All he wants is to protect those he cares about and stop the new evil. Or should we say old evil? The Imortiks, have been released and he must stop them. He is threatened to locate the missing Grimoire books or loose his people. The search is on. The flashbacks and new story lines are revealing and intoxicating. Along the way we meet old and new characters. I can’t wait for the next installment to be released!
This wonderful new spin off series from Dianna Love take us on a behind the scenes tour of the life of Daegan the Treoir Dragon king. In this first book of the Treoir Dragon Chronicles it starts by filling in some of the gaps that were missing about him from the the original Belador series in lots of flashbacks. It begins by telling us about his life and of his family from centuries ago, and of how he was betrayed trying to protect his beloved family and his father the king. Meanwhile in present day Atlanta out on patrol with his Beladors there is a brand new threat to the world from a supernatral force escaping from hell. I am loving that we get to see a lot more of Daegan especially learning about what happened to him before he was rescued by Evalle and the Beladors from the clutches of The Medb queen, and I also love that we will still get to see many of my favourite characters from the original series, and with the added bonus of a few new characters being introduced that appear to play an important part in this story, it's bringing a fresh and new feel to the continuation of the Belador/Dragon world story. Excellent storytelling that is as breathtaking as it is enchanting! I can't wait for the next book to drop on to my kindle.
As a lover of the Belador's from the very beginning, I was worried about how this new turn would work out. Would Evalle and Storm no longer be involved? Would there be no more Isak and Adrianna drama? Rest assured, Ms. Love more than exceeds expectations and I know this look from Daegan's view and the new challenges his return brings will be as spectacular as the rest of the series!
While Evalle is no longer the center of the action, her role is as strong as ever, but we see new characters and heros emerge, especially with the addition of the dragon King. In the midst of a push to expose the supernatural world to the human world, Daegan needs strong people at his side and characters with lesser roles before now take center stage, along with new characters brought in by Daegan to reinforce the Belador's US patrols.
Trying not to spoil things for anyone is hard...so I'll just say, especially if you are a Belador lover like I, buy the book...read it....and remember the next one is not far off! You will never be disappointed!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES" Dianna Love you such a super amazing creative author who knows how to pull her readers into a unique paranormal universe that's so addicting you can't out down. Belador King Daegan was captured years ago by an evil dark witch Queen Maeve and grieves the loss of his family now free living among the humans in Atlanta he has to find a missing Grimoire that can save the humans and the dragons someone is trying to out their supernatural abilities but that can't happen. This is such an intriguing, suspense filled drama keeping you on edge from beginning to end secrets start unravel twists and danger, betrayals, mystery, past history all pull you right in you can't put this book down until finished Soooo looking forward to hook two in the "TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES" addicting and defintely well worth the read with captivating well developed characters you fall in love with. DIANNA LOVE NEVER DISAPPOINTS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO READ HER BOOKS!!!!!!

Review: It has been quite a while since I have read a book inspired by the dragon world. This one , though complicated in the beginning, reignited my enjoyment of the genre. I have not read the original series, but that did not stop me from becoming engrossed in the paranormal fight to help the humans.
Treoir Dragon Chronicles book 1 is amazing. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you have so much going on, but it isn't an overwhelming were you don't know what's happening. I love the characters as we have the king of Belador's Daegon as the main character, we still have our favorites, Evalle, Storm, Trey, Tristan.. I absolutely love finding out more about our dragon. It wasn't before long that I found myself halfway through the book craving more. (Sleep is hard when you have so much going on and you want to know what's going to happen).
Mrs Love has a wonderful flare for the world she writes in and keeps things interesting. Never having a dull moment and bringing each character to life and introducing new ones is so much fun, their family. Never leave anyone behind, and I love that it is in her book with this series. I can't wait for book 2 that will be coming out soon!
As advertised, this is the same characters as the Belador series (plus additional ones, obviously) but with more emphasis on the dragons. What I did not expect were some of the surprises about the characters that shed them in a different light than what I thought I knew about them from the Belador series. To be fair, I was sick while reading this and easily thrown for a loop so maybe take it with a grain of salt that I had to adjust my thinking. I was again startled when the book just suddenly ends. I'm used to cliffhangers, but this was more than that. There was, however, an author explanation after the ending explaining that this series is one long story with no way to wrap up each book, and that is why she waited to release them until they could come out a month apart. At least everything's still the same with Daegon's council that includes Tristan, Evalle, etc.
It is always in my thinking good to start the series with the first one so I am on the right path. I really enjoy reading this author so I took no time in turning the page to begin this one. The other good thing about this one it has dragons in it. Another tidbit is really living not far from where this is centered made it easier to picture what was going on. You know what is said about rumors some of it usually has a base or two of a truth. Then we see things begin to shake and one grimoire pieces that needs to be found. Daegan has our attention in this one with us wanting to help any way we can at times. Also soaking up every bit of this one and savor it until the next one comes to add to it.
This is the first book in this new series, but you do not have to read the Belador series first. This romance story is full of action, adventure and plenty of majik.
The immortals we've come to love will do anything to help Daegan find out what happened to all the dragon families while he was held prisoner, but Daegan and the Beladors also have supernatural beings called Imorticks to deal with in order to keep the Beladors and humans safe.
This book does end with a cliffhanger which I am not a big fan of, but I can deal with that since Ms. Love states she'll be releasing all the books within a year. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I received a copy of this book from the author. My review is honest and voluntary.
So I was really looking forward to this dragon spinoff series. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that these books were so short. This first book seems to be the longest, at 214 pages. So these are more like Novellas, really. And I truly HATE short books. I'd rather pay more and get longer stories.
But, it is what it is. And this world and its characters are like old friends to me. This first book has established a new evil force. Not that the old ones have disappeared, either. You really should read the Belador series first, so that you're familiar with the characters. I have a soft spot for Dragons, so I'll likely continue this series, even though I'm not a fan of short books.
Clearly Daegan’s the core here with loose threads and a variety of characters from Belador continuing here plus the Immortik, a new and exciting villain is trotted out for reading pleasure.
That said chaos reigned with other dragons, squires, supernatural sightings, power chasers, beguilers, dopplegangers, witchcraft gone wild, random threads popping up with no springboards and repetition, among other things raised many questions (who? what? huh?), because the outing seemed disjointed leaving this reader burning as many brain cells looking for cohesion as Daegan and the Beladors! To this readers taste, not a good look for the foundation, this outing may have read better later in the series. Rating: 2.75stars
This book was really good though definitely not what I was expecting. It is a different continuation of the Belador books but more from the point of view of Deagan as they battle enemies at every turn. There was definitely a lot of action and intrigue in this one that really started to build up towards the end of the book. Yes, this book does have a doozy of a cliffhanger but on the bright side the next book comes out in a couple of weeks so we will all survive the withdrawal. If you are a fan of the world that Dianna Love has built then you need this book in your life. No doubt about it. *I received an ARC for an honest review*
I am a long time follower of the Belador series and I have been eagerly awaiting this new one.
Don't worry if this is the first book you pick up you will get a lush story rich with intrigue, deep characters who will bring you into the fold in the first 2 chapters by chapter 6 I couldn't put it down. The Dragon King who has sworn to protect those who serve him finds himself the target of internet sensation hunters while fighting to protect his crew.. I think dealing with the rabid internet for fame followers was a real reality check for me...can anything stay secret?
The start of this trilogy has already got me wanting more.
I loved this book and am looking forward to this exciting new series! This book is filled with unique, cunning, entertaining, skilled and powerful characters and the world building is amazing. My favorite characters beside Daegan, is Casidhe. I can’t wait to see how Casidhe’s character grows! People are exposed to magic, there’s a race to find ancient volumes, enemies play their games, and I wonder how many dragons survived? This book is action-packed, with danger, magic, Beladors, trolls, demons, dragons, mystery, battles, intrigue, Imortiks, a seer, druid, suspense, war, swords, loyalty, friendship, grimoires, history and enemies!
This is one of the best series out there. So much action and edge of the seat excitement. I love the characters and how they intertwine.
Someone is letting out supernaturals. The Beladors are out trying to put an end to them and find out who is letting them loose. Some of Daegan's people are injured, some kidnapped. The only way to have them released is to find the Grimoire. There is a race between all to find it. The good and the evil. No one knows where it is. It was divided into three pieces thousands of years ago.
Many adventures and new characters. This is a must read book!!
It's an interesting start to a series, and if I were more interested in druids and supernatural stories, I might continue with the series, but since I'm more of a scifi kind of guy, and although I love dragons, and think they make a good story awesome, but in this case, it's just par for the course, probably because the dragons (as dragons) don't play a huge role in the story, despite one of them being a primary character. Anyway, this wasn't my cup of tea, so it's unlikely I'll continue with the series, but I urge all you dragon fans to have at it, it looks like it could be a decent series. Not on par with steel dragon, but certainly similar enough to be worth reading.
