FIVE STARS! Bulk review for volumes 1-3, a moderate length of about 620 pages. A fiction supernatural action, urban fantasy genre series with themes of supernatural/identity and inner strength/bonds and trust/family secrets/coexistence versus control. In terms of the popularity of the series, it is underrated. It has magic, Cryptids, and secret London vibes! I was obsessed! Asuka’s glow up had me cheering! Art style and characters? Chefs kiss ❤️! Take away is face your fears, trust matters, and magical beast besties are elite! The aim was to blend action, mystery, and heart in a world where humans and cryptids collide. Makoto Sanda nailed the balance between cool fantasy and emotional growth, making it both fun and meaningful! I recommend it for teens and young adults who love magic, hidden worlds, and character growth with the sprinkle of mystery, it gives blue exorcist, which I love! Bestia is a short, three volume must read! It is a fast paced urban fantasy, full of magic, cryptids and heart, a hidden gym, perfect for fans of supernatural adventure and emotional depth. Asuka travels to London to find his missing mom and instead stumbles into a secret world full of Cryptids (mythical creatures!) and magic. He accidentally bonds with one named Guivre, becomes a Bestia, and joins a hidden organization that monitors these creatures. Across the three volumes, Asuka trains, faces off against threats (both human and monster) uncovers secrets about his past, and slowly becomes an absolute legend. Volume three gives emotional reveals, epic battles, and some real main character energy! ❤️

– Asuka + Guivre = magical soulmates

– Cryptid designs? STUNNING! Some cute, some nightmare fuel. Artwork? chefs kiss! ❤️

– Needed more time for side characters like Lucia!

– Power is nothing without trust ❤️

I am not sold by Bestia. I thought it would be amazing, but it's a let down. I will finish the series as it's just another volume. But if it had any more, I would have probably dropped it.
