Ravage

As president of the Untamed Sons MC, I'm no stranger to pain, but three years ago Sasha broke my heart and put another black mark against my soul. Even the mention of her name is enough to bring my demons out to play. I still don't know what happened, but what I do know is she walked out on me, the club, and the future we were working towards without a backwards glance. I should have known she wouldn't stay gone.

Sasha

Leaving Rav was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I didn’t have a choice. Staying and facing my past wasn't an option. I suffered through hell, but I'm stronger than I've ever been, at least I was until my daughter got sick. Now, the only person left who might be able to save her is her father.

Only, I have no idea who it is. Ravage, or his brother, Sin.

This was my first Jessica Ames book, and I must say, I really enjoyed her writing style. It was easy to read and compelling. I believe this might be the first MC series I’ve read that’s set in London, so that was new. Ravage is essentially a second chance dark romance with betrayal and revenge thrown in the mix.

Sasha was a remarkable heroine. I loved her protective spirit and her fierceness over her daughter, Lily-May. Despite the trauma she experienced, she was selfless and courageous. I felt her heart-ache and the hopelessness she felt for her daughter’s health. Ravage was a pretty good hero as well. As the President of the Untamed Sons MC, he reigns unmercifully. He's ruthless, hot-headed and loyal to a fault. Sasha and Ravage did not have it easy, so it was very sweet to see them get back together.

The secondary characters were pretty interesting too. I really liked the guys that made up Untamed Sons MC. I can’t wait to dig into their stories! Especially Fury… I have a soft spot for unreluctant heroes! Lucy was also a great friend to Sasha. Gotta love the loyal ones!

There wasn’t necessarily anything that I found egregious about the story, but there were definitely things that could’ve been elaborated on. Fair warning though, spoiler-y ramblings/thoughts below:

Overall, I enjoyed this book. Ames does a good job in delivering a heart-wrenching narrative. It definitely could’ve been longer in certain parts but I’m glad I gave this book a try. I will definitely be continuing with the series!

I got this book as a freebie during ''Stuff your Kindle'' day. It was already on my tbr but getting it that day made me just read it ahead of the other books on my list.

I love Sons of Anarchy and anything MC related that resembles that world already has my vote.

We meet two characters who have suffered when they lost each other and spend the next few years picking up the pieces. Sasha knows why she left and why she stayed away and on the other side Tyler aka Rav believes he was abandoned and hates her guts (though still loves her).

Why did Sasha leave? It was pretty obvious. She was raped by a member of the MC and was made weak and believed that nobody would believe her story and left out of fear and pain. Who raped her? Rav's younger brother Sin. Why? Well, we find out that he was OBSESSED with her and HATED his brother for having her.

But before that all is revealed, Sasha is forced back to her town since her little girl needs a bone marrow transplant and care. The little girl is 2 1/2 years old, and Sasha has no idea who her father is. Either Tyler or Sin. She begs Rav to take the test to see if he is compatible and announces she also needs Sin to test revealing that she does not know the paternity of her daughter.

This obviously causes Rav to go INSANE and be adamant that she cheated, and Sin tells his brother that he was drunk and she came onto him but Rav knows it’s a lie but still believes they slept together and never suspects anything foul.

When he finally knows the truth, he is distraught over it and is on a path to kill his brother (he ran off). Obviously, Sin being obsessed is revealed and he tries to get her again and attempts to force her once more, but she is saved this time. Sin dies but it leaves Rav with a massive dark cloud over the fact he killed his little brother - though it was needed it's still painful.

There were a few things that bugged me about this, and I think it would of helped the story or even helped me appreciate Rav a bit more.

1) He never looked for her, she left, and he never said LET ME FIND HER. Nope. Just let her go and he spends the next three years fucking MC girls. Though once she is back in town he no longer gets with anyone, and we never get a scene with him and OW.

2) He never suspected rape or assault. We are made to believe their love was epic and yet the second she left again he never went after her and let alone suspect when she came back and knew Sin was lying that something worse had occurred.

3) We should have had a few flashbacks to their relationship to show us how they were before all this happened. Just so we could connect and understand more about their love.

OW drama: there is a short scene after Rav kills his brother that he is numb and one of the club bunnies comes and touches his arm, but he is ignoring her, Sasha verbally attacks her and he tells the chick to fuck off too.

OM drama: Not really OM drama to the reader but it is to Rav's eyes and other MC members. Since everyone believed (except Nox who was the one to inform Rav about the rape since he suspected there was something worse) Sasha slept with Sin voluntarily.

I am responsible for the man in front of me. I created Ravage when I left. I cemented the man he is now.

A gritty yet romantic start to a new MC series.. 4.5 stars!

**Trigger warning: rape, attempted rape, kidnapping, MC violence and gore**

I'm so glad I found this author and series in KU! It's been a while since I've read a MC romance, but this novel reminded why I love the genre so much.

It was dark and unrelentingly gritty, yet the love story and undeniable connection between Rav and Sasha was amazing to see. Their story was the opposite of easy, but through their love they were able to find redemption and trust in each other. I hope we get to see more of Lily-May being cute in upcoming books, and I can't wait for the next one as the we were left with a bit of a cliffy at the end! ♡

Ravage is Book One in the Untamed Sons MC. I was not prepared for this book; it was a raw, gut-wrenching, emotional ride, and I did not want to hop off. Jessica Ames took my heart, cracked it open, and slowly put it back together. Ravage is not for the faint of heart; there are some triggers. It’s a dark tale with betrayal, angst, and many twists.

Ravage Aka Tyler is the president is Untamed saints, Sasha is his everything. She shattered his heart when she left three ago without a word. Now she is back, and he is far from happy, and she is not welcomed by him or the club, Especially Sin. Ravage’s blood brother. Ravage is a tall drink of bad boy who has never gotten over Sasha. He is not the same man that Sasha left behind.

Sasha is fierce, and I love her. She returns for her daughter and is forced to seek help from Ravage and Sin. Sasha shows up at the club, showing no fear, stands up to them, and drops a bombshell. Just not the whole truth as she feared that no one would believe her. Rav sees from the beginning Sasha is not the carefree woman she once was; she is now hard and rough around the edges.

I was drawn in from page one. I love it when a book does this. Ames was not afraid to go to a dark place with Ravage and is very well written. I couldn't put the book down. I love Nox and Fury. I feel Fury has a hell of a story. He is one kind of crazy

This is an MC second chance romance, not my top trope (I’m not the biggest second chance fan) but I was intrigued enough to give it a whirl. It’s set three years after Sasha fled the MC after a traumatic event that leaves her shattered and broken. Ravage (Tyler) believes she betrayed and abandoned him and is not pleased she’s back. but Sasha has an important goal her daughter is Ill and she’s willing to walk back into hell itself if it means saving her life.

This was an enjoyable read it’s my first experience with this author and I liked the overall writing style finding it an easy fit. I probably would have rated it higher though if there had been a bit more detail regarding Sasha and Tyler’s past as I think this lack impacted slightly with the overall character connection. Also, Sasha and Tyler very swiftly fell back into their old relationship and some initial conflict well more than we were given at least would have also improved things it just at times felt a bit too easy.

The story itself was good I liked the reasons why Sasha was back in The Untamed Sons MC hemisphere but again it lacked some background other than the superficial. I think that’s my main complaint the lack of background. I’d have liked to witness the dynamic of the brothers and Sasha it would have connected and invested me more in the story with all those particular insights and personality nuances. Similar background with Lucy and lily-may would have also been appreciated as we only get the bare bones of this. Also as much as Lily-May was a sweetheart I didn’t feel we got to know her at all.

I was completely flummoxed though that Tyler had never tried to track Sasha down when she fled. Never tried to discover the why of it all especially since they were meant to be so in love and her being his old lady and all or even why she thought he wouldn’t believe her in the first place as this didn’t scream soul mates to me.

Overall though this was enjoyable and the writing was good I’m definitely intrigued enough to pick up book two. This did have the gritty dark feel I like in my MC reads and I think it’s the first MC series I’ve read that’s set in my neck of the woods The UK. It’s not an overly graphic one either but there was some definite heat and I’m also thinking because of Sasha's past the heat wasn’t really the main focus here.

I started this because of the trope. Second chance, secret child, secrets and all that.

It was ok, just something to pass time. Not very memorable but I didn’t regret speeding time reading it, and sometimes that’s good enough for me.

As freebies go,this one was decent….even if it did have a child suffering from cancer.
I usually stay away from those, having experienced losing a son from cancer myself, but this was done in a way i could take.
There’s a couple of scenes in the hospital, and the stress Sasha suffered seeing her 3 year old daughter in that hospital bed,but nothing so severe i couldn’t continue.
The donor for the bone marrow transplantation was not a real surprise,if i’m honest.
The reason Sasha left 4 years ago,was supposedly because she cheated on Savage.
With his brother,Sin.
What really happened, was something else, and that becomes clear later on in the story.
Savage may have been hateful at first, but he turned around once he admitted to himself that things didn’t add up.
Seeing his daughter in a hospital bed softened him further.
Hearing why Sasha really left was the decider, and he could only hope she’d want him back in her life again.
And until danger came knocking, again,he was making good progress……

Like i said,a decent story,with a decent background.
Could’ve used a little more depth, but i still enjoyed it enough.

This book was a delightful surprise, in a somewhat sweet, somewhat the-cover-doesn’t-quite-suit-the-book kind of way. I was looking for a darker read, and while this book does deal with some difficult trigger-y content, it’s not as dark as the description and cover heavily imply. Ravage is a tough-as-nails hero, but he’s a bit of a softie where Sasha is concerned.
This book has a compelling, if not straightforward plot, and there is equal parts suspense and sweetness. That said, I really think the book should have provided more backstory for both Ravage and Sasha. We know that Sasha has loved Ravage “since she knew what love is”, but other than knowing they’ve been together their entire adult lives (up until 3 years ago, that is), we don’t have any history for them. The book might have benefited from some flashbacks, or maybe even a dual timeline. Actually, scratch that, I generally hate dual timelines. Maybe an extended prologue?
Anyway 4 stars, because with second-chance romances, I expect to get more of the history on the couple’s first attempt at love.

This has to be one of the most repetitive books I've ever read. I was bored to tears and the continuous repetitive inner monologue has to be one of the best cures for insomnia, even with skimming. A HARD edit to a short novella would've greatly benefitted this story, so I don't get the high ratings. It lacked depth, feeling and angst that a second chance romance should bring.

I also don't get why the author based this book in the UK and then proceeds to refer to things in US terms. We don't grill, we barbeque. We don't hold a cookout, we barbeque. And I've yet to hear a bloke refer to his SO as "his woman".

This is definitely not a series I will continue reading. I'm out

I love me some MC books!
This books came highly recommended and it did not disappoint.
This book was not heavily about the motorcycle club or motorcycle club drama. It was more about the relationship between the club president and his ex lover.
She left A few years ago without any communication and he was so pissed and heartbroken that he decided not to chase her. A few years later she comes back in with a child shockingly and who is in the hospital and needs a match for a transplant.
Unfortunately for the heroine in this story, she doesn’t know who the baby daddy is. The prez or his own brother?
Not always what it seems when the truth comes out, the devil comes to play. And revenge is beautiful.

This was a fast paced story of two lovers that should have never been torn apart in the first place getting back together and building the relationship again. There’s tons of drama, blood, and death LOL
This ends off on a HEA for the main couple. But ends as an opening/cliffie for the next book which will be a new couple.

I’m surprised this book has so many high ratings.

It’s effectively an Insta-love book even though it’s second chance. And it happens over the course of like 3-days?? Everyone is forgiven so quickly and I struggle to believe that Rav never considered his brother raped his girl.

The book is EXCESSIVELY repetitive and had proper editing occur it would have been a novella.

Not sure I’ll continue the series. No real storyline and zero character development.

Much darker than I usually read, and while full of the MC gang and romance tropes manages to avoid some of the more stupid cliches writers are churning out.

Heroine is a strong female and a tiger about her child, and the hero is frankly a scary and homicidal biker Prez that loves the heroine.

Surprise, surprise!

Seriously, I'm quite surprised that this book was actually pretty damn good! I loved everything about it. The hero and the heroine relationship was epic. Love stood against some serious issues and they still made it through. I was putting off reading this book but I'm glad I gave it a shot.. I just wish the author follow up was on another character that I found myself intrigued with but of course that didn't happen so maybe when she find a love interest for Fury, then maybe I will pick up this series again. So Until Then....

Overall rating:
4* ~ A Very Good Read

I am very, very, surprised that this book received such high ratings. A great editor would have chopped 1/3 of it due to excessive repetition. We get it. Does not need to be repeated fifty times.
With so many other books out there, I'm not sure I will continue with the series.

Emotional rollercoaster.

This book was so gut wrenching, but also heart warming. The love between Ravage and Sasha was epic. Based on the cover of this book, I thought it was going to be pretty heavy on the smut, but it was quite the opposite actually! This was a dark romance, with themes of overcoming sexual abuse. It was so beautiful how Sasha’s extended MC family went to bat for her and helped her heal. The only thing I didn’t like was the cliffhanger ending, although, I will be continuing on with this series, so I can’t wait to find out all about Lucy’s secrets!

I don't read second chance stories all too often, but I enjoyed the angst level here. There's a solid story here and I enjoyed it overall, but my only criticism is that there was a lot of repetitiveness. I think the story would have been even shorter if the author refrained on telling us the same thoughts/details over and over.

I liked Nox and Fury a lot, so I'm interested in their stories, but not sure if I'll return to it.

I never read something so repetitive in my life. The H and h inner monologs were the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over.... annoying, huh?
This whole book, if you took out the repetitive paragraphs, would barely fill a quarter of what it would be.

Is this a recurring thing with this author? I feel is she let her self go there would be so much more quality.

The first couple of chapters, I was so excited to have found a great new M C series. Then it was all down hill. I’m a very forgiving reader, but this book was in desperate need of a good edit. Parts of the story need to to flushed out and the prose needs a good cleaning. The same phrases were repeated over and over. A character would work through a conflict and then 4 pages later rehashing of the same problem.

This author has hooked up with BOOM publishing so I’ll be keeping her on my radar

It was a 4 star idea in a 2.5 star writing

I loved the storyline of this book. It really could have been awesome. However, the repetition was exhausting and made me skim at least a third of the book. Add in the fact that the author didn't follow through with remembering basic facts like- how does a person have chin length hair and a messy top knot?? That's one of many examples. Hopefully this was a debut novel and the rest get better.

I wanted so much more for this story. The basis of it was good and I love MC stories and second chances but I feel like more couldve been developed between some of the Characters. I felt like some of the story was rushed. Still going to read book 2

This was my first time reading this author and I have to say I enjoyed it.

Ravage was a hard core biker and the story started where his club was torturing a guy for information, so you knew he could handle his stuff. The only thing that brough him to his knees was the love of his life Sasha. Sasha left him 5years ago, she just up and left, betraying him and his club, or so he thought.
So why would she have the guts to walk into his club now and ask him to help her save her child. How dare she?

Sasha left Rav years ago, she ran when something terrible happened to her and she knew she could never come back. But a mother would do anything for her child even face her own demons.

This was definitely a fast paced action story. It had everything you would want in a MC story. It was a bit dark and gritty and suspenseful and definitely hard core biker action. I am so looking forward to Nox’s story, but the story I am dying to read will be Fury’s 😊

RAVAGE

Ravage is the Prez of the Untamed Sons MC and his heart has been hardened over the three years that the love of his life walked away from him thinking the worst of her. He had no idea as to the real reason that Sasha walked and let’s just say that he finds out it will change his life forever.

This book isn’t for the faint of heart because this is one of those in-your-face MC books that doesn’t hold back. The intensity, the drama, the steam are only the tip of the iceberg in this book that I couldn’t put down. This is a book that I highly recommend.

I really like this first book in the Untamed Sons MC series. It is fast paced and I like the characters (well not Sin obviously). Looks like the next could be Lucy and I hope she ends up with Nox or Fury

If you like MC romances you’ll find this an easy and fast read.
A bunch of trigger warnings so check those out.
But the characters are easy to love, it’s not long and drawn out, but it was definitely predictable.

For me It was the perfect palette cleanser book.

Quick Take Review 💥:

A quick and easy motorcycle club read that has heavy themes and mostly enjoyable characters. Although it’s nothing spectacular, you will find yourself having a hard time putting this book down.

Great for when you are looking for something that won’t use a lot of brainpower to get through.

Not enough smut for being marketed as a spicy MC romance.

In Depth Review 👇

Plot 📖:

Tyler “Ravage” Jenkins is the president of the Untamed Sons MC and no stranger to pain. He’s been able to shoulder anything thrown his way, anything except Sasha walking out on him three years earlier. The loss of the woman he loved left a hole in his heart and demons in his soul. To make matters worse, he has no idea why she left him, the club, and the future they were building together without so much as a backward glance. Just hearing Sasha’s name is enough to make his blood boil. Ravage tried his best to block Sasha out of his mind and his life, but he’s smart enough to know that eventually she would turn up again.

The hardest thing Sasha’s ever done was walking away from Ravage and his love for her, but she didn’t have a choice. She couldn’t handle staying with him and facing her past. Sasha’s suffered in life, however it’s only made her a stronger person in the long run, but when her daughter, Lily-May, gets sick, she finds herself feeling weak again. The only person who can give her daughter a fighting chance is her father. Which means that Sasha has to prepare herself to face Ravage once again. The only problem is that she doesn’t know if Lily-May's father is Ravage or his brother Sin.

Writing 📝:

Jessica Ames's writing is fast-paced and engaging, albeit repetitive. Her writing style is light and easy to read while still managing to give us all the details we need in the plot.

Her characters are as well fleshed out as they can be for a biker romance. None of them felt flat but didn’t necessarily stand out a whole lot either. Some of her conversation and the tension between the protagonists seemed forced; however, I've read worse.

Main Character(s) 👫:

Tyler “Ravage” Jenkins- I really liked Ravage’s character. He led his MC with an iron fist. Although he was both ruthless and ill-tempered, he was loyal to a fault. If you had his back, he had yours. When Ravage loves, he loves hard. Once he found out about Lily-May, he made it clear that he wanted to be in her life and be a dad (if she was in fact his daughter). It made me upset that it took him a while to come around to what had really happened between Sasha and Sin; however, I can forgive him for that.

Sasha Montgomery- I enjoyed Sasha’s character. Despite all the harsh cards life had dealt her, she was still selfless, courageous, and fearless. She was fiercely loving and protective of Lily-May. Sasha was such an amazing mother who always put her daughter’s needs before her own and tried to keep her spirits up, even when she was feeling more hopeless than ever.

Side Character(s) 👫:

James “Sin” Jenkins - Sin was a piece of shit. He made me sick. I’m so glad he eventually got what he deserved.

Lily-May Montgomery - Lily-May was an adorable two-and-a-half-year-old. What more could you ask for?

Lucy Franklin - Lucy was a lovely side character. She was a ride-or-die friend to Sasha, and I loved her for it. We all need a loyal bestie like Lucy.

Untamed Sons MC Members - I liked them all. What a fun group of morally gray men.

Thoughts 💭:

“I created Ravage when I left.”

Look, Jessica Ames, when I pick up a book with a shirtless man on the cover who has washboard abs and chains wrapped around his neck, I want smut, not something that’s going to pull emotions out of me. However, in this case I found that unexpected surprise 120% fine by me since I overall enjoyed this story.

I must admit that I’ve read a few MC romance books, and this one seems to understand the ins and outs of an MC the most. At least in my opinion. Take that with a grain of salt, though, since I’ve never been part of a biker gang, and I don’t know anybody in one, so what do I know?

Things get rolling right away in this one. Action kicks off from the very first page. I’m not one for a slow-burn story, so I really appreciated the fact that we get to the heart of things from the start and didn’t tiptoe around anything, and let me tell you, once things started, they never stopped. That, paired with the short chapters, made this book hard for me to put down. It was very easy to say, “Maybe just one more chapter,” and get a lot read in one sitting. More often than not, I just HAD to know what was going to happen next.

“The guy might bleed a man without a second thought, but he’s shit-scared of needles.”

That being said, there were plenty of things about this book that I didn’t enjoy and could have maybe been tweaked a bit.

This story could have been shorter by at least fifty pages, and the right editor would have been able to let Ms. Ames know. This was stretched out more than it needed to be, and because of that, we get a lot of repetitive filler. If I had to hear one more time how Sasha “grew up in the biker lifestyle” or how “she wasn’t intimidated by them because she knew that world,” I was going to blow chunks on my Kindle.

I also could have lived without being told what the Untamed Sons insignia looked like every two seconds. I got it the first ten times it was mentioned that it was a crowned skull behind angel wings. The insignia could have been mentioned without also describing it every single time.

I wish we had a couple of glimpses into Ravage and Sasha’s past. I would have loved to see how their relationship worked when the two of them were together before everything fell apart. I think getting the chance to see the love grow between the two of them would have kicked things up a notch. We are told that their love was an epic one, but we are never shown why that is. It also might have helped to get a peek at what Sasha’s life was like within the club and the relationships she had with the other members. We really get no backstory with either of these things.

“He chips away at the dirt covering me, just long enough for me to take a lifesaving breath”

Speaking of epic love, you mean to tell me that after Sasha leaves, Rav is distraught (rightfully so). Yet, he never once thinks to go and look for her. He never tries to find her. Instead, he spends the next three years fucking any woman that steps foot near the Untamed Sons headquarters. Don’t worry, as soon as she pops back up, that all suddenly comes to an end. Which was commendable but weird at the same time.

Ravage also never once thought that something might have been going on when he found out that Sin had been lying about the fact that “Sasha seduced him.” He never once had enough respect for Sasha to consider the fact that something more sinister had occurred. I know you never want to think that your sibling is capable of doing what Sin had, but COME ON MAN! Ravage swears he knows Sasha better than anyone, yet he still couldn’t put two and two together and held on to some deep-rooted anger towards her. He only figured it all out when Nox confronted him about it, like the sweetheart he truly is.

“Forgiveness is not something I deserve, but it’s something I’m going to earn.”

I liked Sasha’s character, I really did, and I understand that she is a woman who has been through hell and back, but my Gods, did she cry A LOT! She would stop crying, and two minutes later she would start all over again. Every time you turned around, she was crying about something, and if she wasn’t crying, she had tears in her eyes. It got exhausting after a while.

For a book with a spicy cover and an 18+ rating, there is hardly any smut in it. What little smut we do get is not well done at all. It was boring, awkward, and somewhat uncomfortable. That was a huge buzzkill. Ravage and Sasha talk about all the sexual tension between them, and nothing comes of it. BOOOOOO!

This last thing is honestly just me being petty. I didn’t like the name Lily-May. I just couldn’t stand it. I don’t know why it made me mad every time I read it. I mean no offense towards anyone with this name. Individually they are beautiful; together, not so much.

“Ty, baby. You call me Ty.”

I enjoyed all the Untamed Sons MC members, but my two favorites were Nox and Fury. We love psychopathic bad boys with a soft side—well, at least I do. However, I don’t know if I’m invested/interested enough to read their books. Bummer.

I managed to snag this for free on “Stuff Your Kindle” day. Was I happy I got to read it for free? Yes. Would I have been upset if I had paid for it? Eh, maybe, but probably not.

So that’s a win to me.

“I’ve never saved someone before.”

Final Verdict ⚖️

I would recommend this to readers who enjoy an easy read with short chapters and don’t mind having some heavy subject matter sprinkled in. I would also recommend this to readers who love asshole characters but also characters who are tough on the outside but have a heart of gold on the inside.

Ravage will maybe come close but ultimately not receive a nomination to get accepted into Nicole's Reading Hall of Fame despite being an enjoyable read.

As always, please remember that reading is subjective, and that’s what makes it so great. 😊

There’s better out there, but it’s not bad

This is my first book by this author and I see a lot of potential, but there were a lot of missed opportunities regarding plot and character development, but the dialogue and writing style were engaging, if not particularly innovative.

The characters were likable, the heroine was a strong woman—unlike most in this sub genre—and the hero was unpleasant at first, but it’s understandable considering his understanding of the situation and his emotional limitations, and eventually redeemed himself.

The story dealt with a particularly delicate subject—rape—and the author showed a sufficient understanding of the human mind to translate into words how the situation affected everyone involved. There’re authors that do this better, like Tillie Cole, but I don’t expect every MC romance author to be as good as she is, and this author delivered a decent story.

All in all, I’ve read way way worse. This was delightfully average, it didn’t change my life but I’m not foaming at the mouth about plot-holes or soap-operish plot devices, and had a nice time reading it.

This book was everything! I love me some good baby mama drama and this book had that in spades . I went in from the blurb thinking I would hate Sasha but nothing was as it seemed . Sasha left Ravage and when she came back she had a sick baby who could he his or his brother’s child . She needed him to help save her daughter. Sasha and Ravage has chemistry and you could just tell they were meant for one another . I could tell from just this first book that this series is going to be epic . I loved the men and I’m looking forward to see how each one’s story unfolds . This book seems to be a bit darker than Jessica’s other books but it’s my favorite one so far . It hooks you from the first page to the last and I read it in one sitting . I couldn’t put it down ! Ravage is now my favorite book boyfriend but Nox and Fury made that list with him ! I can’t wait to see where this series goes !
