I think I figured out what drives me crazy about this series - the cover art for each volume is boring as hell and makes me uninterested in reading it. Then when I finally do, I actually enjoy the heck out of it.
There’s not too much to say about this volume - romance continues apace and usual hi-jinx ensue. The characters are fun, the chemistry between the main pairing (and obvious side pairing) is good and if you liked what came before, this is another solid entry.
I will say that this book is tackling sex in a way that may not be wholly on point, but at least feels believable for its characters. That it’s looking at it in any form is a big plus, though the cliffhanger at the end of the book promises some serious high dramatics in our next volume, oh yes.

I have a love-hate feeling over this volume :')
I love the whole summer vacation where Ran and Akira and the whole gang got to spend more time having fun. I'm so happy they got some alone time and grew closer with each other, and Akira also finally got the courage to tell their friends that his family owns a flower shop. Everything about the second half of the book is just super wholesome ♡♡♡♡ But I'm expecting some wrath from Ran's father in the next volume though 👀
Anyway I really don't like the first half of the volume. Ichigaya literally harassed Ran by forcing a kiss on her, and I was hoping he'd at least get a reprimand in this volume, but nothing. NOTHING. Sure, I appreciate Akira telling Ichigaya to back off from Ran, and I know Ran's really nice so she forgave Ichigaya real quick, but c'mon. Ichigaya wasn't even the slightest bit guilty for what he had done. He didn't even apologise to Ran. I hate that the story is simply dismissing what he did.

This volume was interesting since I feel like it focused more on character growth than the previous volumes, but it’s probably because we are reaching the end of the series. Akira is finally embracing who he is and what he likes in front of his friends, not only in front of Ran. He doesn’t want to hide that his parents are florists anymore.
I like Megumu more in this one, I appreciate his relationship with Akira more than the one he has with Ran. They have this sibling banter going on which was really enjoyable to read about. Moreover, Ran and Akira’s friends were more present in this volume, I liked the scenes where they were all together and I can’t wait for Tomo and Yamada to finally be together.
Once again, the relationship between Akira and Ran is the cutest and healthiest one I’ve seen in a manga, I’m so sad it’s coming to an end.
The end of this volume though, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next volume.

This series always makes me feel happy while reading it, but it never pushes that boundary where I get giddy from the after-effects of the romantic aspects. It’s still a lovely series, regardless, though I wish it made my heart pound like the characters themselves feel!

Whhhhhhhaaaaaa that ending deaddddd. Also so many sweet kisses gosh I’m way into these high schoolers cute relationship I can’t stop smiling still. I love their friendship group too. I’m just flying though these
