I borrowed this on a whim from KU.
It turned out to be a fast paced and smutty insta love "paranormal" romance involving a wolf shifter and a college girl....it was okay I guess!!!....but I am not interested in reading anymore of the follow up stories in this series.

p.s. I love this book cover, probably the reason I borrowed it in the first place.

I need a little more from my wolf shifter stories I suspect reading Suzanne Wright has ruined me for all others....what can I say!!!!

Zeke Blakesley es el sheriff de la ciudad de Timber Ridge, una ciudad de cambiaformas.

Por regla no daban a conocer a los humanos su naturaleza. Temían su reacción.

El beta no esperaba tener la suerte de encontrar a su compañera destinada, no muchos lobos lo hacen, hasta que un olor dulce le llega y luego el horror lo golpea.

Allegra Hale está en la universidad con sus dos mejores amigas. Todo lo que siempre quiso fue encontrar a un chico y formar una familia pero no ocurría.

Hasta que un apuesto hombre la socorre en un accidente de coche.

Nunca sintió una atracción como esa y entonces él le dice que es ... Un lobo y que ella es su compañera.

Alegra sabe en su corazón que es cierto porque ella siente lo mismo.





Primer libro de la serie Shifted love y...

Estoy acostumbrada a los relatos, novellas cortitas, me gustan, me hacen bien pero este siento que solo leía escenas de sexo!

Necesitaba más de los protagonistas, Alegra y Zeke estaban bien, me gustaron pero les faltó profundidad.

El comienzo quedó en que se conocieron en un accidente y no pasa más que ellos juntos en casa de Zeke.

Ojalá hubiera algo más de acción o alguna sorpresa en la trama. Me quedé con curiosidad por saber más sobre el mundo de la manada de Timber Ridge, no vi contrucción en ello tampoco.

Me encanta FD y me amo las historias de lobos pero está quedó un poco floja, necesitaba que algo más sucediera para darle movimiento a la trama.

En general buen comienzo y espero se desarrolle mejor en el segundo libro.

New series to dive into and this one is a shifter read with some steam and a good novella.

Allerga is enjoying being a freshmen at school away from parents with her best friends, but theirs a accident that lands her into the arms of her Fated mate Zeke who happens to be a Wolf Shifter and she's stunned by that since she didn't know those were real. Their love story is very quick and fast pace also no real drama ;)
Just a fluffy read if thats something your looking for.

Looks like Kace & Larissa’s story is up next can a Alpha tame his wild flower ;)

The book cover drew me in and is honestly why I downloaded this very short novella.

Fated mates and wolf shifters - sounds good right, and it wasn't bad but it wasn't something I'll remember either, it felt like I blinked and everything had happened. Finished wanting things to be more fleshed out, I didn't finish smiling because there was something missing.

Curious to see if the second novella has more depth/oomph so I've downloaded.

I'm stingy with my 5 star ratings but I absolutely loved this one! Every book Fiona puts out, I always say it is my favorite one and yes, it happened again!!! I'm a sucker for the over the top, crazy in love alphas. You give me one of those and I'm sold. Add in a heroine I actually don't want to hurt and hello, winner! Not only did I love watching their story play out but I became attached to the secondary characters. She knows how to keep readers entertained and definitely keeps up on our toes. Her books are funny, sexy and heartwarming. She puts her heart and soul into each and every book she publishes and you can tell this. I really can't wait for Kace's story!

Loved this book.
I loved that the man waited for his true mate instead of nailing anything and everything under the sun that I've read too many times in books.
This book had a good, nature pace and it made it feel like I was reading a full 300-page novel instead of a short story.
It also had some very funny parts in the book that made me laugh out loud.

I think this will definitely be a winning new romance shifter series.

Plot: Allegra, a college student, gets into a car accident, and is rescued by local law enforcement, Zeke. Zeke also happens to be a wolf shifter and he recognizes Allegra as his fated mate. Problem? She doesn't know that shifters exist.

Commentary: Beautiful cover! Pretty standard shifter story - fated mates, human doesn't know the shifter world exists. Lots of steam, Zeke makes quick work of getting his mate into his home and his bed. Good story, I'll definitely read the rest of the series (very quick reads).

Allegra ha salido a tomar algo con sus amigas cuando se queda atrás para pagar. Al tomar un taxi de vuelta el coche sufre un accidente y ella es rescatada por un hombre apuesto y además puede confiar en él porque es el sheriff del pueblo. Sólo que Zeke es algo más que el sheriff del pueblo, también es un cambiaformas de lobo y Allegra es su compañera... Sólo tiene que pensar cómo va a convencerla de esta verdad.

Bueno ha estado bien, quizás no me ha parecido tan de la esencia de Fiona pero ha estado bastante bien. Ya sabéis el esquema básico de estas historias así que... Recomendado para pasar el ratito!

I dunno if it's just me but Zeke's sex talk seemed kinda polite. But I liked them dirty so it was a struggle to go along with it. I mean he said 'fly apart' for fudge's sake. [I'm trying to quit cursing too much😬] But it got tolerable after the first time. Otherwise, it was a really cute and sweet read. I actually quite liked it. Haven't read any werewolf books for a long time.

~Zeke is a wolf shifter waiting to meet his fated mate. He doesn’t care if she’s human or a shifter, he just wants his forever to start. Allegra never knew why she was uninterested in the men she interacted with.. until an older hunk rescues her.~

I love how Zeke reacts when they meet. SWOON! I love fated mate / shifter romances and this did not disappoint! I’m only sad it isn’t longer.

Her Wolf is literally just the main characters meeting, getting to know each other for a chapter, and then sleeping together. There was no plot, but if you're into that definitely give it a read. I like there to be a type of conflict either between the main characters or with a villain before they settle down for their happily ever after.

You’ve got to be okay with instalove. These two move quickly and keep on running. In fact that’s a theme in the whole series. If you can get past that you're in for a delightful yet quick (only 50/60 pages) romp with a cuddly shifter and the woman who loves him.

Honestly sometime all you want to read is a trash-y book just because, but this is so bad that I regret the time spent reading it.
Just a bunch of clichè and unbelievable (not in a good way)reaction by the heroine. Just.. no! Maybe the author could use this novella as foundation for a more believable story.

Not gonna lie, I read this mostly because I thought the cover was so pretty.

This was kind of a snippet story. There was no conflict. It was just about a wolf shifter finding his mate and then introducing him to her parents. It was cute. And I might read the next one about her friend, it sounds like there might be more push and pull in that one.

When a shifter meets his fated mate ...

While this new series is a classic Fiona Davenport tale its lot of with virgins and alpha males, the shifters thing works even better with the caveman instincts of the Davenport’s hero.
I had second thoughts before reading this novella, as my previous read by the duet was disappointing, disparaging people because of their clothings or appearance, I hate bullies.
Here, nothing like that, it is the BIM BAM BOOM I expect from their stories, a quick read with only how the heroes meet and come together to think about.
A perfect read out of the ambiant stress for a relaxing moment.
And it was that, a very short tale with a sweet side.

This one was short, sweet, and spicy. We have an 11 year age gap, instalove, fated mates, and shifter romance with two lovable characters and an easy love story. Zeke was alpha, possessive yumminess and Allegra just accepted it all.

You can’t really go wrong with these stories. Short enough to knock out in under two hours. Just enough heat and heart. I love these little novellas. They’re perfect for filling in reading gaps!
