I have to admit it has been a while since I have read Jasmine so when I started reading this book I figured out pretty quickly that there are other series people you will see in these books. But it DOES NOT take away from this story or the others.

Devil Mountain Wolf Shifters is a good story with MFM themes. I highly enjoyed that there is a STORY! Yes, you get sex (of course) and great sex sense but you get a real feasible story that you can sink your teeth into.

I am excited to read this series.

We get to meet the Howling Ops once again in this one and oh boy does anger still rampage ! Chloe is trying her best to live on her own terms without feeling like a burden to anyone . She gets to enjoy about a week of being on her own before the past in the form of Sly turns up ! And now she is freaking out worried that maybe he had followed her since she knew to him all vampires were evil , and she was in his sights ! Sly and Devon are making plans to kidnap the vampire they both know to find out what she is doing there along with how many more vamps are with her . And now the horrid vampire that made her , and she thought was dead , is after her ! Awesome first book of a new series !! Well written and recommended !

Kurz zum Inhalt: Es geht um Chloe, die gerade zur Vampirin geworden ist. Das muss wohl in einer anderen Reihe der Autorin passiert sein, zumindest klang es so. Ich werde es ganz sicher nicht nachforschen, dafür ist mir meine Zeit zu schade. Sie will ein neues Leben anfangen, obwohl sie es hasst eine Vampirin zu sein und sich eher selbst bemitleidet. Die Stadt, die sie sich dafür aussucht ist voller Wolfs-Shifter, die Vampire nicht ausstehen können und das zeigen sie ihr auch. Sie wird kurzer Hand, wie schon im Titel angedeutet, entführt und gefangen gehalten. Warum? Fragt mich nicht. Es ergab für mich alles wenig Sinn. Für mich waren da mehr Plot-Holes als alles andere. Nichts war wirklich logisch nachvollziehbar. Vor allem aber Chloes Empfindungen und Reaktionen. Und von dem Sexuellen spreche ich da noch gar nicht. Sie wird also vom Anführer des 'Wolfs-Rudels' entführt und wirklich mies behandelt. Ich mach es kurz, natürlich empfindet sie eine starke Anziehungskraft zu ihm und nein, das ist nicht mit dem Stockholm-Syndrom erklärbar. Es kommt zu etlichen komischen Gedankengängen von Chloe und auch zu Sexszenen, die ich bewusst nicht als erotische Szenen bezeichne, weil sie das einfach für mich nicht sind. Da kann die Autorin noch so oft versuchen ein BDMS Regelwerk drüberzulegen, das passte trotzdem nicht. Ich will da auch gar nichts weiter zu sagen.
Lichtpunkt in dem ganzen war eine Charakter. Das ganze war eine Menage-a-Trois Geschichte und der Dritte im Bunde war wirklich ein lieber Typ, der vieles ausgeglichen hat. Retten konnte er die Story trotzdem nicht, aber das führte halt dazu, dass ich sagen muss, dass ich schon deutlich schlechteres gelesen habe.
Die Hörbuchvariante kann ich nicht empfehlen. Die Sprecherin, Kat Robertson, war für mich ein Katastrophe. Ich habe schon hunderte Hörbücher gehört aber so eine aufgesetzte, distanzierte bzw. künstliche Stimme kenne ich nur aus Sachbüchern.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Kidnapped by the Wolves by Jasmine Wylder is the first book in the Devil Mountain Wolf Shifters series. This is a spin-off series of the Curvy Girl Military Romance series. We caught a brief glimpse of Sly Yarbo and his team in the Dragon Blaze Ops stories in CGMR series. The team retreated to the Devil Mountains to make new lives for themselves after the defeat of the Pack. I really enjoyed this read. Strong paranormal characters with all too human flaws are a Jasmine Wylder specialty. Chloe is a vampire looking for a place to fit in and she thinks she has found it in the town of Deville. Sly, Devon and his Howling Ops team have made Deville and Devil Mountain their home and they don't want any Supe drama to settle around them. When Sly spots Chloe working in Deville, it's only a (very short) matter of time before all hell breaks loose. Packed with action, drama, sexy shifters, vampires and misunderstandings, this book reads hot and fast. This is a Mature Readers Only read and contains steamy love scenes, bdsm and multiple partners.

This is a splendid vampire/wolf shifter romance & I definitely enjoyed reading it. The plot is interesting & quite entertaining. The main characters are quite complex individuals who have realistic flaws & just to make things a little more interesting, two of the main characters jump to the wrong conclusion with regards to the female character.
There is: a female vampire (Chloe Bennet) trying to cope with a sad loss & the abrupt change in her life moves to a small town (Deville) only to be taken prisoner by a not so trusting wolf shifter (Sly Yarbo) & his fellow wolf shifter & friend (Devon Klien), Chloe’s vampire maker (Rodger) with unscrupulous plans, shifters, vampires, humans, action, adventure, twists & turns, adventure, intrigue, suspense, drama, danger, threats, enemies, conflict, violence, memories, regrets, suspicions, devious intentions, judgmental attitudes, abduction, verbal conflict, distrust, misunderstandings, distrust, hatred, emotional turmoil, escape, physical confrontations, manipulations, confrontations, indecision, discipline, spankings, contentment, some steam & a well-deserved happy conclusion with a interesting ending.

Chloe didn't want to be a vampire, but now she has to deal with it, and she doesn't want to be a burden on her sister. She decides to move away to the town of Deville, not knowing how it's going to change her life. She sees a familiar face, she didn't want to see, Sly a wolf shifter who is a known vampire hater. Just great, she might have wasted her time moving here, but maybe Sly doesn't hate her as much as he thought. Sly thinks that Chloe is up to something, and calls in his second in command Devon to come help him, capture her. Devon feel drawn to Chloe, so he insists on staying around, saying it so Sly doesn't have to deal with her so much. I enjoyed this trio, Chloe isn't a strong woman, but she is a survivor. Sly can be a bit frustrating with his denial of what he feels, but I loved Devon who is a great protector and at keeping Sly in line.

Ms. Wylder is new to me, author, first book in the Devil Mountain Wolf Series. Generally was pretty good, of course Sly wasn't my fav *snorts*

Cloe always the quiet one, reserved and shy and happened to be a turned Vampire though not of her choice. Lucky enough to past the 'test' to keep living the undead life she wanted a new start so she moved away to a small sleepy little town. I liked the little Vampire just wished she had a bit more spine. :)

Things just don't happen the way we plan. Right.

Alpha wolf commander on serious *ick mode and I took an instant dislike of him. He was inflexible and harbored just too much hate.

Devon though came through and without him I'd been a fussy reader lol. As a first book it set the tone, introducing and building. Some hot scenes and some danger.

Kurzmeinung: Ganz okay aber irgendwie hat ein Teil gefehlt, es war zu viel Geschichte auf zu wenig Seiten

Die Vampirin Chloe lebt zurückgezogen, als sie in einer neuen Stadt in einer Bar als Kellnerin angestellt wird. Dabei läuft sie direkt in die Hände von zwei Wölfen, die denken sie sei in ihre Stadt gekommen um für die Vampire rumzuschnüffeln, sie beschliessen sie zu entführen. Dabei kommen sich die drei näher und entwickeln Gefühle die nicht sein sollten...

Es war interessant, es ging in Richtung Forbidden-Lovestory mit den Vampiren und Werwölfen die natürliche Feinde sein sollten. Leider war die Umsetzung der Story nicht ganz gelungen, für mich geschah zu viel, irgendwie ist man von Szene zu Szene gesprungen, dabei gingen kleine Szene und Momente verloren die der Story mehr tiefe gegeben hätten.

I love Jasmine's books and this is no exception after saying that this one has a different feel to it I don't know if it is because it is a MMF story I believe a first for her I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and like all her works it has suspense and dram and plenty of steamy heat the perfect way to escape from everyday life

Chloe is changed when she and her father are involved in car accident her father died but she became a vampire Now she has moved to Deville to try to sort her life out Yep that isn't going to work when she is kidnapped by two wolf shifters Sly and Devon and they hate vampires and anything to do with them. Will the mate call of Chloe be enough to overcome that hatred You will have to read to see

Chloe has moved to get away from everything that has happened to her. She thinks she is finally going to get her fresh start. She is working at the diner when her someone from her past comes in. Chloe hasn't seen Sly in years. She didn't know that there was a wolf pack her and he was in it.
Chloe is kidnapped by Sly and Devon, they think she knows more than what she letting on. Sly has major anger issues. Chloe isn't who they think she is, yet she is drawn to both men. When a vampire from her past comes for her. Things will get even more out of control for Chloe.

This is a really good read, there are themes in this book not everyone will like. It is not a huge theme in book and doesn't take away from the story at all. Recommend reading this book

This is a short and steamy read that has vampires, werewolves and lots and lots of sex. It's very risque so it's definitely not for people who are only interested in vanilla types of romance. The key word in the title is 'menage" which gives you an idea of what type of sex there is and lots of it. However, there is also a really entertaining story which is something that often doesn't happen in erotica. Usually it's just lots of blatent sex and not much else but this author is also a really good story teller and I thoroughly enjoyed her characters and settings. The paranormal world she created is fun and well written making this one of the best paranormal erotica books I have read. Luckily, this is only the first book in a whole set so I still have lots of beach reading ahead of me.

The mundane life is over for Chloe, and now she has to accept her new life as a vampire. The only thing she wants is a quiet place to start over, not wishing any harm to anyone, just living in peace. But moving to new location did not help. Imprisoned by two wolf shifters who see her as an evil villainess thanks to her changed nature, Yet the real enemy lurks around, and Devon and Sly would actually need to protect their victim.
Light and entertaining read, with heated, steamy scenes along the way, but also a decent backstory. It's often the issue with PNR that the whole book is concentrated on the development of sex life between the protagonists, and I much appreciate this is not just focused on the MFM triangle in the lights.

Chloe's change of life is different than what she thought

Chloe is a newbie to the supernatural scene as she is a new illegal vampire and the small town she has just moved to is not what it seems at first glance.
But she is the sort to land back on her feet even if it is at the hands of her two new favorite wolves, though it takes a while for that to come around.
She moved towns for a new start and that is definitely what she gets with these two.
And who says vampires and wolves don't mix, not this author and she does it in a very naughty, hot hot hot way.
Loved it.

What an interesting story this is! I love shifter/paranormal romance books and this one just hits the right spots. LOL. So you have Chloe who moves to a small town of Deville. Only to find out that it has wolf shifters. One, in particular, is not happy about that. Sly is the alpha of the Devil Mountain Wolves and Devon is his second in command. Well, why does Sly not like Chloe? Good question! You need to read to find out. I can say that the past can never stay in the past. But can Chloe change the mind of the alpha? This book was a quick read and got to the point of the story. That is one thing I loved about it. This is an advanced reader for a voluntarily honest review.

An sich fand ich die Grundidee nicht schlecht, aber die Umsetzung war ein wenig naja für mich.
Chloe ist vor kurzen Vampirin gegen ihren Willen geworden, sich aber von Menschen zu nähren kommt nicht in Frage.
Chloe will einen Neuanfang und sucht sich ausgerechnet einen Ort mit einen Wolfsrudel aus, die Vampire für Monster halten.
Kurzer Hand wird sie von diesen entführt und ich habe mich echt gefragt warum. So richtig Sinn hat es nicht gemacht.
Puh also die Beweggründe waren für mich teils nicht nachvollziehbar.
leider konnte mich die Geschichte in vielerlei Hinsicht nicht überzeugen.

not for me but just my tastes

So, I dnf’d this pretty early on. If you like weak fmc’s, bondage, torture and physical abuse by the mc’s this is probably right up your alley. Seeing the fmc kidnapped, threatened with death and somehow still turned on? Gross to me but if that’s your jam give this a try. Might have been a trigger warning somewhere that I missed. If you have loved ones (or this happened to you) who’ve been physically abused you know this is not a sexual turn on but an ice cold bucket of water. It doesn’t work as you know even ‘spanking’ is hitting, just disguised as okay.

I really enjoyed reading Chloe, Sly, and Devon's story. I would've loved it if they were developed more but still three great characters with a great storyline. There was a lot of background facts on Chloe and it helped explain who she is. I would've liked more information on the guys. I really liked all the stuff Chloe is doing to make herself more human with herbs and she talked a little about a skin care product to help with the sun. That was very intriguing. I recommend the book. I received an ARC and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

First book (of 8) in shifter menage series. I haven't read any books by this author before, but the start of this book has the assumption that you know the background of some of the characters, so that took some time to try and patch the plot in places. Overall, this has potential, shame the menage was a mfm (dislike) and maybe there was too much going on with the fighting/violence - got confusing with the zombie vampires and Rodger's death was a bit anti climatic. Epilogue set the scene for future thruples. Entertaining read.

Kidnapped by Wolves, Devil Mountain Wolf Pack.

A great introduction to the Devil Mountain Wolf pack. A down on her luck vampire moves to a small mountain town to escape from her nightmare life. On her first night wolf shifter and leader of the pack Sky walks into the finer where she's started working. Sky and his second in command are former members of an undercover shifter unit with the military, who were trying to stop ears between paranormal and humans. Sky fiercely dislikes vampires. It's a story that doesn't look to have a happy ending.

Tout est bien trop rapide.
On nous jette dans une histoire sans nous expliquer le contexte. On nous parle de Vampire, de métamorphe Loup, si j'ai bien compris de Dragon ?!? Mais à aucun moment on nous explique leur place dans le monde, leur mode de vie.
Pendant toute l'histoire, il y a mention de la première rencontre de Sly et de Chloe mais encore une fois rien n'est expliqué.
Les événements s'enchaînent bien trop vite et même le combat "finale" se règle en deux ligne.....
Quel dommage les personnages et le monde autour auraient pu avoir tellement de potentiel.

Good read and interesting plot

This is a renewal story Chloe was turned into a vampire without consent by the villain of the story. However she is a sweet woman with a kind heart just trying to do the right things. The leader of the Wolf clan Sly hates vampires but is secretly attracted to Chloe. His second in command Devon is worried about Sly and his mental health. Somehow Chloe ends up in their hands and the fun begins. Read On!

First she nearly died in a car wreck that kills her dad only to be rescued by a vampire who starts her transformation. Then she's kidnapped by a rogue shifter who's after her sister. Thinking a small town in the middle of nowhere is just what she needs, she picks up and moves only to be kidnapped by two wolf shifters that she met while hiding with her sister. Can it get any worse? Well, maybe.
Great start to this series! I loved it!

I liked the interaction and the chemistry between the characters. Chloe is vampire and just wanted to live in peace but she soon learned that was not going to happen in the new town she settled in. The wolves in the town don't think kindly of her kind but her attraction to two of them has to be a glitch.

This was a great read. In a world of wolves and vampires they are enemies. When a reluctant vampire moves into a small town she finds herself kidnapped by wolves. Through all the danger she finds love with the 2 wolves and they learn things aren't always what they seem. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to more to come.

This is definitely a different type of werewolf read. A vampire female him and his beta kidnap for several reasons. With so much danger, surprises, emotions, twists and turns and much more. Wolves and vampires

The wolves kidnapped the vampie. They put her in a basement but a nice bed but locked in. The two wolves get hard around het. So much happens in this story. Good read and recommend this book.
